MILLERSBURG -- Mildred H. Irwin, 92, of Millersburg, died Monday morning, Feb. 19, 2001, at Sunset Nursing Home, Millersburg, where she had resided since 1996.
There will be no services or visitation.
Cremation has taken place. Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Irwin was born Oct. 31, 1908, in Medina County, to Elmer K. and Lucy Janet (Dundas) Houseworth. She married Glen Irwin. He died in 1974.
She is survived by four nephews, Elmer (Polly) Weber of Millersburg, Edmond Louis (Irene) Weber of Wadsworth, Carl and Bernard Leatherman of Wadsworth; a niece, Mildred Henderson of Wadsworth and sister-in-law, Letha Hurst of Greencastle, Ind.
J. Robert Reynolds
ORRVILLE -- J. Robert Reynolds, 78, 10341 E. Lincoln Way, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center, following several months of declining health from a fall resulting in a broken hip.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
There will be no calling hours. Gresser Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

He was born Sept. 11, 1922, in Logan County, to Benjamin A. and Ethel (Harmon) Reynolds.
Surviving are daughters, Tanya Kaye Allen of Chesterfield, Va. and Yardy Lee Boles of Lakeview; five grandchildren; a sister, Joan Jackson-Martin of Orrville and Betty Sachariat of Orrville, a best friend with whom he had made his home.
Allan Baumgartner Jr.
FORT MYERS, Fla.. -- Allan L. Baumgartner Jr., 71, of Fort Myers, Fla. and formerly of Orrville, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at his home in Fort Myers, after a long illness.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Agnes Church in Orrville.

He was born June 2, 1929, in Cleveland, to Allan and Marcine (McDowell) Baumgartner Sr.

COSHOCTON -- Jessie M. Layman, 88, State Route 83, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital in Coshocton.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Free Funeral Home, 788 S. Second St., Coshocton, with Pastor Harvey Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 4-7 p.m. and until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 7, 1912, in Millcreek Township, Coshocton County, to Nathan and Altha Mae (Lower) Bechtol and married Orland Reo Layman Sr. on Nov. 28, 1932. He died Dec. 16, 1985.
Surviving are four sons, Wendell L. Layman and wife, Joyce of Fresno, Elmo T. Layman and wife, Wilma of Urbana, Orland R. Layman Jr. and wife, Sandra of Coshocton and Donald G. Layman and wife, Carol of Strasburg; a daughter, Beverly Brillhart and husband, James of Coshocton; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Omer Bechtol of Millersburg, Warren Bechtol and wife, Lucille and Fred Bechtol and wife, Agnes, all of Coshocton and several nieces and nephews.

WOOSTER -- Doris I. Wood, 87, 4138 Swanson Blvd., died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Smithville-Western Care Center.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 6, 1913, in Wayne County, to Monte and June (Kitner) Brinkerhoff and married Dale Wood on Sept. 1, 1932. He died in 1986.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Donna Wood and Lee and Sherry Wood, all of Burbank; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

SHREVE -- John W. Oldman, 85, formerly of the Shreve area, died Sunday morning, Feb. 18, 2001, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Chardon.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.
Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born April 9, 1915, in Wooster, to Wiley S. and Bede (Rice) Oldman.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Browning Oldman; a son, Edwin W. Oldman of Wyoming; three stepsons, George E. Szoka of Chagrin Falls, Carl H. Morley of Hiram and Lloyd A. Morley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Betty J. Szoka of Macedonia and Lucille Kramer of Chagrin Falls; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

WADSWORTH -- David Millen, 83, of Wadsworth died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Magnolia Care and Rehabilitation Center.
There will be private services. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

He was born June 20, 1917, in Doylestown, to Louis and Pearl (Radin) Millenkovich.

WOOSTER -- James F. Altvater, 37, of East Lincolnway, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

He was born Aug. 22, 1963, in Mansfield to Ronald "Pete" Altvater and Marilyn Altvater. He married Connie Napier on Sept. 29, 1993. She survives.

APPLE CREEK -- Ella A. Miller, 86, 5705 Criswell Road, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton after a brief illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Andy E. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Wayne County.

She was born Aug. 18, 1914, in Holmes County to Abe and Mattie (Miller) Yoder and married Monroe J.C. Miller on Dec. 12, 1935. He died Dec. 28, 1989.

WOOSTER -- Hazel V. Gisinger, 67, 2216 Melrose Drive, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Smithville Western Care Center.

MILLERSBURG -- Verna Weaver, 67, 3253 State Route 39 (near Walnut Creek), died Sunday morning, Feb. 18, 2001, at her residence after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Roy Weaver residence, 2970 County Road 168, Millersburg, with Bishop Noah A. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County.

She was born March 26, 1933, in Holmes County to John S. and Mattie (Hershberger) Weaver.

TAMARAC, Fla. -- Judith W. Nunley, 61, of Tamarac, Fla., formerly of Wooster, passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 17, 2001, at the home of her sister in Wooster, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Memorial services and burial of the cremains will be held at Moreland Cemetery at a later date.

She was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Wooster to Howard and Lois M. (McClure) Wirt and married James R. Nunley on April 10, 1976, in Cambridge. He passed away April 13, 1999, in Lee County, Fla.

WOOSTER -- Eula M. Stinson, 70, 234 N. Grant St., went home to be with her Lord Saturday evening, Feb. 17, 2001, in the emergency room at Wooster Community Hospital, after a brief illness.
Services will be Saturday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. at Morning Star United Holy Church in Massillon with elders Charles Sims and Pulley Howard officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

She was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Ryland, Ala., to John Henry and Lucy Jane (Jordan) Rigney and married William Henry Stinson in 1945 in Gurley, Ala. He survives.

Viola Myers
JEROMESVILLE -- Viola L. Myers, 83, formerly of the Jeromesville area, died Sunday morning, Feb. 18, 2001, at SCCI Hospital of Mansfield.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with Chaplain Gerald A. Gess officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

BEACH CITY -- David Karl Kloha Sr., 58, of Beach City, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at Cleveland Clinic, from heart disease.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lantzer Funeral Home, Beach City, with the Rev. Jeff Coggins officiating. Burial will be at South Lawn Cemetery, Beach City.

John Hungerman
AKRON -- John J. Hungerman, 80, of Akron, formerly of Martins Ferry, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Valley View Nursing Home, Akron.
He was the father of Brian (Julie) Hungerman of Wooster.
A memorial Mass will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 20 N. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, with Father Thomas Magary officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va.
Arrangements are being handled by Heslop Funeral Home in Martins Ferry.

He was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Bridgeport to George and Mary (Hannah) Hungerman and married Margaret "Peg" Underdonk. She died previously.
