AKRON -- Lorraine S. Snavely, 81, formerly of Akron, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at Smithville-Western Care Center in Wooster.
Private family services will be held with Pastor Eloy Pacheco officiating.

She was born March 30, 1920, in Hohenwald, Tenn., to Leland Emmett and Lillie (Lynch) Sisco. She out-lived three husbands, Paul Monsour, Herbert Claude Wood and William Snavely.
Surviving are children, David Wood of Arlington, Va. and Rebecca (Bo) Woloschyn of Wooster; two grandchildren and sisters, Margie Turner and Joan Smith, both of Englewood, Fla. and Carolyn Eckart of Copley.
Martha Frank
LOUDONVILLE -- Martha Elizabeth Frank, 88, 568 Green Township Road 2474, died Thursday evening, Aug. 23, 2001, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center, following an eight-month illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ with the Revs. James Bennett and George Shunk officiating. Burial will be in McKay Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville.

She was born Feb. 11, 1913, in Green Township, Ashland County, to Henry Adam and Louise (Heffelfinger) Doll and married Richard Frank. He died in 1977.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laura Hecht of San Martin, Calif., Ruth and Richard Weaver and Katherine and Bob Wolfe, all of Loudonville; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and a brother, Elmer Doll of Loudonville.
Lucile Domhoff
VERO BEACH, Fla. -- Lucile Domhoff, 86, of Indian River Estates in Vero Beach, Fla., passed away on Aug. 23, 2001, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Lucile was born Grace Lucile Snell, in Lake City, Fla., on Oct. 6, 1914. She married Harry F. Domhoff Jr. He died previously.
Surviving are her two daughters, Joan Marie Moore of Fort Myers, Fla. and Kay Louise Peters of New York City; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no repose or visitation.
A memorial celebration will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001 at 10 a.m. at Indian River Estates Auditorium with the Rev. Don Littlefield officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Cox-Gifford Funeral Home, Vero Beach, Fla.

MILLERSBURG -- Allen Duff, 34, of Millersburg, died Thursday evening, Aug. 23, 2001, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Dan DeHass officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.

He was born Nov. 9, 1966, in Millersburg, to Wayne E. and Nancy (Crilow) Duff and married Elizabeth Boley on April 30, 1991. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Shawn Duff and Megan Duff, both of the home; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Ernie Whytsell of Millersburg; a brother, Kevin Duff of Millersburg and a sister, Jennifer Davis of Orrville.

DOYLESTOWN -- Ernest L. Knack, 75, of Doylestown, and formerly of Manchester, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001 at Barberton Citizens Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 999 Portage Lakes Drive, Akron, with Pastor Jack Kozak officiating.
Burial will be at Manchester Cemetery with military honors by Appleman Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 3294 and American Legion No. 281.

Eileen Saurer
ORRVILLE -- Eileen Marie Saurer, 79, of Orrville, died at Regency Park Care and Rehabilitation Center in Orrville on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001.
She was born to Frank and Nellie (Curie) McPerry in Orrville on Nov. 17, 1921, and married Robert L. Saurer on June 11, 1941.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years; daughters, Sharon (John) Gregory, Susan (Rees) Davies, both of Orrville and Sandra Saurer of Apple Creek; sister, Betty VanGunten of Wooster; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are foster sisters, Eugenia Kalb and Elizabeth Klopfer; stepsisters, Joyce Couts and Juanita Wentzel; an aunt; cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be Monday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
Calling hours are Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home, Orrville. Interment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Wayne County or St. Agnes Catholic Church.

BEACH CITY -- Garry C. Feikert, 58, of Beach City, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster with the Rev. Wayne Giesler officiating. Military Rites will be conducted.

He was born June 30, 1943, in Millersburg to Edgar and Helen (Hendrickson) Feikert.
He is survived by two daughters, Stacy Feikert of Columbus and Shelly Burtt of Massillon; a sister, Brenda Barns of Millersburg and two brothers, Larry Feikert and Jim Feikert, both of Millersburg.
Dale Resecker
WADSWORTH -- Dale C. Resecker, 79, of Wadsworth, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001, at Hospice Care Center in Akron.
Services were held Wednesday at Roberts Funeral Home, Hillcrest Chapel, 9560 Acme Road, Wadsworth. Chaplain Paul D. Fink officiated. Burial was at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens where military rites were held.
He was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Monroe County, to Christian and Elizabeth (Hoskinson) Resecker.
Surviving are his children, Eugene Resecker of Woodsfield, Harry Resecker of Burbank, Norma Tanner of Creston, Marilyn Ferguson of West Salem, Mildred Cyrus of Orrville and Ilene Thompson of Mansfield; three stepchildren; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-granchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose Saffel of Woodsfield, Lula Balinsky of Struthers and Margeret Bauer of Woodsfield; three brothers, Harold Resecker of Seville, Paul Resecker of Laings and Roy Resecker of Comanche, Okla. and his first wife of Orrville. His second wife, Vesta E. Matheney, whom he married on May 23, 1971, died previously.

WOOSTER -- The Rev. J.W. Williams, 54, 658 E. Henry St., died Sunday morning, Aug. 19, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at True Church House of Prayer in Orrville with the Rev. Charles Winters officiating.

Mary Miller
APPLE CREEK -- Mary J. Miller, 66, 3873 S. Kansas Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, in the emergency room of Aultman Hospital in Canton, after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Alvin J. Schlabach officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery in East Union Township.

She was born in Mercer, Pa., on Dec. 21, 1934, to Roman J. and Sarah (Chupp) Byler and married Eli J.D. Miller on Nov. 22, 1956. He died July 3, 1995.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Norman (Katie Ann) Brenneman of Wooster; Sarah Miller and Roman Miller of the home; and Reuben (Esther) Miller of Apple Creek; four grandchildren; three sisters, Ada Pearce of Wooster; Mrs. Raymond (Verna) Miller of Holmesville; and Mrs. Dan (Ella) Miller of Fredericktown; and a brother, John Byler of Orrville.
Mary Hugus
NAVARRE -- Mary A. Hugus, 95, of Navarre, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Altercare of Navarre, following a brief illness.
She was the sister of Mabel Collier of Doylestown.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Navarre, with the Rev. Marcia M. Stalnaker officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at Union Lawn Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

She was born Dec. 28, 1905, in Wilmot, to John P. and Augusta (German) Zurcher and married Robert L. Hugus. He died Feb. 5, 1981.
Surviving in addition to her sister are a son, Robert L. "Bob" Hugus Jr. of Duluth, Ga.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lester Zurcher of Columbus.
Christopher Becker
UPLAND, Ind. -- Christopher R. Becker, 22, of 1523 S. University Blvd., died Tuesday, August 14, 2001, from injuries he suffered in a rock climbing accident in Austria.
He was born in Marion, the son of Richard "Dick" and Marsha (Corll) Becker, Upland, Ind.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother, Adam, Upland, Ind.; paternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Maxine Becker, Wooster, Ohio; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

SPRINGFIELD, Va. -- Cullie Robert Looney, born Oct. 3, 1915, in Akron, died on Aug. 20, 2001, in Springfield, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Gourley Looney, formerly of Akron and Doylestown; three children, Donna (John) Osthaus of Springfield, Va., Diane (Paul) Zink of Reston, Va., Dean (Mimi) Looney of Philadelphia, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
Interment will be at a later date in Doylestown.
