MILLERSBURG -- Larry V. Troyer, 48, of Millersburg, died Sunday morning, Oct. 13, 2002, at Pomerene Hospital from complications stemming from a motorcycle accident in September 2001.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, Millersburg, with Larry Kauffman and Levi Sommers officiating. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call today (Monday) from 2-4 and 6-8 at Grace Mennonite Church on County Road 77.

He was born Jan. 9, 1954, to Vernon B. and Esther Troyer.
Surviving are his son, Eric, and daughter, Michelle Troyer of New Philadelphia; his mother, Esther Troyer of Millersburg; a brother, Allen (Pam) Troyer of Millersburg and three sisters, Ruby Schlabach of Walnut Creek, Rhoda (Mervin) Yoder of Millersburg and Wilma (Steve) Miller of Berlin.
Judy White
ORRVILLE -- Judy White, 44, of McQuaid Road, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Jeff Graebling officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

She was born Oct. 18, 1957, in Wooster to Harry and Juanita (Bowersock) Landaw.
Survivors include children, Scottie Kessinger of Orrville, Tonya (Jesse) Chargualaf of Fredericksburg, Boyd "Scooter" of the home; six grandchildren; her mother of Wooster; brothers Harry Landaw Jr. of Japan, Harold Landaw of Minnesota, Raymond Landaw Sr. of Big Prairie; sisters Patricia (Arthur) Sites of Canton and Charlotte "Dee" Landaw of Creston.
Elizabeth Kragt
ORRVILLE -- Elizabeth W. "Betty" Kragt, 75, 318 Wabash Ave., died Friday evening, Oct. 11, 2002, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Christ United Church of Christ, 301 N. Main St., Orrville, with the Rev. Randall Gehres officiating. Cremation will take place following the service, with burial of the cremains at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville, at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home, 512 E. Oak St., Orrville, or one hour prior to the services.

She was born May 8, 1927, in Flushing, N.Y., the daughter of Jeremiah and Julia (Kayel) Weaver and married Marvin N. Kragt on Aug. 20, 1949, in Williston Park, N.Y. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are daughters, Judi (Gary) Rutledge of Worthington, Linda (Don) Bilderback of Dalton and Diane Kragt Griffin and her husband, Rick, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Tim Rutledge of St. Louis, Mo., Andrew Rutledge of Harrisonburg, Va., Laura Bilderback of Knoxville, Tenn., Paul Bilderback of Athens and Elizabeth Jewel Griffin of Cleveland; a brother, Jeremiah J. (Ruth) Weaver Jr. of Deer Park, N.Y.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Earl (Hazel) Kragt of Toledo, Con (Donna) Boeve, Roger (Phyllis) Kragt and Cornie (Norma) Van Loo, all of Holland, Mich., and Cornel (Bev) Kragt of Zeeland, Mich.
Her father died in 1914 and her mother in 1994.
Rene Eshler
SEVILLE -- Rene Doyle Eshler, 50, 5857 Doylestown Road, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, from injuries received in a truck accident on Bell Road.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, with the Rev. Robert Combs officiating. Burial will be at Seville Mound Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, where Moose services will be held at 8:30 p.m.

He was born June 11, 1952, in Wadsworth to Wayne and Mary (Martie) Eshler and married Teri LeMar on Sept. 10, 1972. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Adam Eshler of Akron and Brandi Eshler of Seville; his mother of Sterling; brothers, Dennis (Janice) Eshler of Sterling and Lloyd (Cindy) Eshler of Wooster; a sister, Roxann (Greg) Coffey of Casper, Wyo.; nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
His father died Dec. 31, 2001.
Rebecca Sipple
RITTMAN -- Rebecca J. Sipple, 84, of Rittman went home to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, at Akron General Medical Center.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rittman Church of God on Eastern Road with the Rev. Faron Cole officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman or one hour prior to the services at the church.

DOYLESTOWN -- Charles William "Bill" Kiel, 81, of Doylestown, died Friday, Oct. 11, 2002.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant and the Rev. James Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, where a scripture service will be held at 5 p.m.

He was born Aug. 2, 1921, in Akron to John and Catherine (Hickey) Kiel.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline R. "Jackie" Kiel of Doylestown; daughters, Catherine Kiel of Columbus, Janet Gresh of Jackson, Mich., Nancy (George) Maupin of Spokane, Wash.; sons, Charles Michael (Cathleene) Kiel of Doylestown and David H. (Jennifer) Kiel of Laurel, Md. He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Paul (Agnes) Kiel of Akron and James (Katie) Kiel of Kent.
Dr. Donald Bowman
INDIANAPOLIS -- Dr. Donald Edwin Bowman, 93, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Inurnment will be at St. Paul's Episcopal Columbarium.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 4-7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

BERLIN -- The Rev. Freeman H. Hostetler, 81, of Berlin, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Services will be Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church with Pastor Joe Hochstetler and the Rev. Jacob Schrock officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church and Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Freeman was born June 29, 1921, in Hartville to Sol and Fannie (Miller) Hostetler. He married Mary E. Kaufman on Sept. 5, 1948. She died Dec. 31, 1988. He then married Clara Mullet Wengerd on Aug. 8, 1992. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Mark (Cindy) Hostetler and Dave (Sheryl) Hostetler, both of Walnut Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Teresa) Landis of Sugarcreek; six grandchildren and three sisters, Esther (Andrew) Stutzman of Millersburg, Erma (Pete) Stutzman of Sarasota, Fla. and Dorothy Raber of Berlin.
Richard Purdy
KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Richard Jay Purdy, 74, of Kennewick, Wash. and formerly of Wooster, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Spokane Hospital.
He was born in Wooster to Galen J. and Mary Purdy.
Surviving are five children in Washington and a brother, Robert Purdy of Wooster.
Patricia Hillyer
TRAIL -- Patricia K. Hillyer, 55, of Trail, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at her residence after an extended illness.
Services will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at Martin's Creek Mennonite Church with the Rev. Carl Wiebe officiating. Burial will be at Hancock Cemetery, Hancock, Wis.

She was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Wild Rose, Wis., to Bud and Betty (Jones) Sullivan and married Gregory Hillyer on March 27, 1965. He survives.

WOOSTER -- Wilma L. Johnson, 52, of Wooster, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Massillon Community Hospital, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

GLENCOE, Ala. -- Helen Victoria (Breedlove) Baker, 78, of Silver Shadows Retirement Community, Glencoe, Ala., formerly of Marshallville, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002.
Services will be tonight (Wednesday) at 8 at Crestwood Funeral Home, 2209 E. Broad St., Gadsden, Ala., where friends may call two hours prior to the service. The Rev. David Denson will officiate.

She was born in Hellier, Ky., to William M. and Maxie Breedlove and was married to Otis "Toad" Baker for 50 years. He died in 1991.
Surviving are children, Elster Baker of Orrville and Peggy S. (Richard) Jones of Glencoe, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Crum of Ashcamp, Ky.; and a brother, Kenny Breedlove of Richmond, Texas.

HARMON -- Sharon Jenell Collins, 57, a resident of Country Lawn Nursing Home in Harmon, formerly of Brewster, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, 2002, in the emergency room at Massillon Community Hospital, after an extended illness.
She was the mother of David P. Collins of Glenmont.
Services will be Friday at Newton Baptist Church in Newton, W.Va. Burial will be at King Cemetery near Newton.
Local calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster.
She was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Charleston, W.Va., to Arthur G. and Melissa O. (Godbey) Collins.

Willis Sprague
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -- Willis M. Sprague, 98, of Doylestown, Pa., formerly of Killbuck, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in Killbuck.
