MILLERSBURG -- Levi J.D. Raber, 82, of Millersburg, died Thursday evening, Oct. 3, 2002, at the Majora Lane Nursing Home, Millersburg, following and extended illness.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church with the Rev. Robert Schrock officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Church Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Saturday) from 6-9 at Alexander Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Sunday at the church.
He was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Becks Mills, Holmes County, to Jacob D. and Mattie (Miller) Raber and married Edna A. Troyer on Feb. 6, 1941. She died June 24, 1998.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Floyd (Lydia) Yoder of Killbuck, Wayne L. Raber of Millersburg and Mrs. Ervin (Lucy) Miller of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Raymond Riegel
RITTMAN -- Raymond A. Riegel, 77, of Rittman, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Johnstown, Pa.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant St., state Route 3, Seville, with the Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial following cremation will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home.
He was born in Charleston, W.Va. to Arthur and Bessie Riegel.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Charles Fowler of Dalton, Diane Norton of Brunswick, Debra and Mike Brocious of Hubbard, Pamala and Terry Jones of Akron, Melissa Block of Renova, Pa., and Sue and Joseph Lippo of Michigan; a son, Clayton Riegel of Johnstown, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Miller of Wadsworth.
Ethel Snow
WOOSTER -- Ethel M. Snow, 79, of Wooster, died Friday morning, Oct. 4, 2002, at her residence, following a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating, followed by a private burial for family at Killbuck Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior (noon-1 p.m.) to services.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Millersburg, to William E. and Clara (Clay) Rowe and married Glenn W. Snow. He died in 1968.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Clara "Tootie") Haun of Wooster; a brother, Clifford (Leora) Rowe of Millersburg; a sister, Hattie Hoover of Millersburg; two grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.

SHREVE -- Dustin J. Hess, 12, 4205 S. Elyria Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at his home.

He was born May 9, 1990, in Orrville, to Jay and Dawn (Nicholas) Hess.

WOOSTER -- Gregg Miller, 50, formerly of Secrest Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Miller Memorial Nursing Home in Andover.
Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, at a later date with Pastor Bill Lawson officiating. Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Harry Ramsier
WEST SALEM -- Harry E. "Buck" Ramsier, 75, of West Salem, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Medina General Hospital in Medina.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastors Marta Mathatas, Robert Holmes and Paul McMillian officiating. Burial will be at West Salem Cemetery, where military services will be conducted by James Stevenson Post 499 of West Salem.

ORRVILLE -- Mildred E. Reusser, 92, 10149 High St., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rittman Apostolic Christian Church with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Rittman.

She was born July 27, 1910, in Sardis, to William and Ella (Riggenbach) Eisenbarth and married Fred G. Reusser on Feb. 15, 1930. He died March 5, 1969.

Lynette Starn
WOOSTER -- Lynette R. Starn, 39, formerly of Wooster, died Sunday morning, Sept. 29, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center, Canton, following a sudden illness.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Paradise Church Cemetery, Smithville, with the Rev. Joe Routh officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster.

She was born May 11, 1963, in Akron, to Jay Clark and Etta Mae (Swisher) Gochnauer and had lived in Wayne County since May 2002.

She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Millersburg, to Christian and Amanda (Crilow) Bigler and married Elmer Walters. He died April 28, 1976.
Surviving are a sister, Vera Maxwell of Walnut Creek and four brothers, Clarence Bigler of Walnut Creek, Floyd Bigler of Wooster, Ollen Bigler of Navarre and Donald Bigler of Millersburg.
James Ferguson
FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- Sgt. James "J.P." Ferguson, 29, of Fort Bragg, N.C. and formerly of Harlan, Ky., died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, due to injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home in Harlan, Ky. with Chaplain Logan officiating. Burial will be at Allen Cemetery of Cranks, Ky. Full military honors will be observed.
Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Wesley P. Judkins, 91, 317 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, Va. 24060 and formerly of Wooster, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at his home.

SEVILLE -- Ruth Opal Nehrenz, 59, of Seville, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery, Seville.

APPLE CREEK -- Mary Jane Sowers, 78, of Apple Creek, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 1, 2002, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Peters United Church of Christ in Apple Creek with the Rev. Bert C. Ambrose Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton.

She was born in Coshocton County to Adam and Annie (Galley) Markley and in December 1940, she married Clinton E. Warnes. He died June 20, 1950. She then married Harry D. Sowers. He died Sept. 21, 1985.
She is survived by two daughters, Geneva Myers of Fredericksburg and Patricia (Alan) Mishler of Killbuck; a son, Frank (Lori) Warnes of Orrville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren and a brother, Donald (Virginia) Markley of Orrville.
Clara Weekley
CLARK -- Clara B. Weekley, 88, of Clark, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 2, 2002, at her home, following an extended period of declining health.
Family graveside services will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster with Pastor Dan Kirtlan officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg.

She was born Sept. 15, 1914, in Newark to Lewis W. and Blanche (Black) Belt and married Carlos T. Weekley on Jan. 31, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1969.
Surviving are six children and their spouses, Dr. Melissa and David Hurst of Farmington, Maine, Melinda and David Eliot of Lakeville, Fred and Libby Weekley of Shreve, P.T. and Linda Weekley, Deborah Calhoun and Cynthia Weekley, all of Clark; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
