HOWARD -- Elizabeth A. Hochstetler, 99, 19351 Nunda Road, died Saturday morning, Aug. 17, 2002, at her home.
Friends may call today (Sunday) after 3 p.m. at the Edwin R. Hochstetler home, 19351 Nunda Road, Howard and Monday from 1-9 p.m. at the Eli M. Hochstetler home, 6791 Holmes County Road 77, Millersburg, where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 9 a.m. (Daylight Savings Time) with Bishop Rueben Miller officiating. Burial will be in Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County.
She was born June 24, 1903, in Mylo, N.D., to Andy and Elizabeth (Lehman) Hochstetler. She married Mahlon J. Hochstetler on Dec. 6, 1928. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her son and daughter-in-law, Eli and Verna (Kline) Hochstetler of Millersburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Elmer Hochstetler, Emma and Edwin R. Hochstetler and Laura Hochstetler, all of Howard; 20 grandchildren and 87 great-grandchildren.
Everett McCluggage
WOOSTER -- Everett A. "Mac" McCluggage, 92, formerly of 200 S. Market St., died Friday morning, August 16, 2002, at Wayne County Care Center, Wooster, following a period of declining health. He had resided at Wayne County Care Center since January 1992.
As per Mr. McCluggage's wishes, there will be a memorial service Monday at 11 a.m. at First Church of God, Wooster, with Pastor O.J. Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends in the church's fellowship hall following the service.
Private graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family at Prairie Township Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, is handling arrangements.

He is survived by a son, Robert "Bob" McCluggage of Clinton, Ill.; seven daughters, Mrs. Gene (Bonnie) Fetzer of Creston, Mrs. LeRoy (Karen) Siegenthaler of Shreve, Mrs. Walter (Janice) Lilley of Wooster, Mrs. Gary (Mickey) Kemp and Mrs. George (Marie) Friday, all of Shreve, Mrs. Sam (Deb) Huff of Spencer and Ms. Carol Hoover of Millersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Nolan (Hazel) Rafferty of Wooster and Mrs. Evelyn Martin of Shreve; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Frank Morrison Jr.
FREDERICKSBURG -- Frank A. Morrison Jr., 80, 161 Decatur St., died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster with Father Patrick Henry and Deacon Bernard Hosfeld officiating. Burial will be at St. Genevieve Cemetery in Calmoutier.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.

He was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Fredericksburg, to Frank and Margaret (Stumbaugh) Morrison and married Lucille Malcuit on April 30, 1955. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Dean F. and wife, Vicki Morrison of Wooster, Janet Ball of Fredericksburg, Joanne and husband, Mark Whytsell of Shreve, Paul Morrison of Orrville and Jean Williams of Wooster; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Beatrice Markley of Wooster and Mary Green of Shelton, Wash.
Marjorie Bach
DALTON -- Marjorie W. Bach, 82, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at Brethren Care in Ashland.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Dalton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael McHale officiating. Burial at Dalton Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Dalton and on Monday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.

She was born Oct. 31, 1919, in Dalton, to Addison and Malinda (Tschantz) Lehman.
She is survived by husband, Veryl Bach of Ashland, whom she married Oct. 20, 1940; son, Blake Bach of Florence, Ala.; daughter, Dinna (Al) Bach Lopez of Santa Rosa, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mary Canfield
WEST SALEM -- Mary J. Canfield, 74, 4061 N. Cinnamon Drive, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, at Akron City Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the West Salem Church of God with the Revs. Glenn Caudill and Michael Cornelius officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman and one hour before services at the church on Monday.

She was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Pawnee, to William and Sarah (Lambert) Norris and married Howard C. Canfield. He died in 1987.
Surviving are sons, Howard E. and John Canfield, both of Sullivan; James (Sandy) Canfield of Sterling, Ronald Canfield of Wooster, Donald (Elizabeth) Canfield of Rittman and Jeff Canfield of Spencer; daughters, Mary A. Canfield and Sandra Jason, both of West Salem; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, Esther (Fred) Waggaman of Lodi.
Tamalli Ulutoa
APPLE CREEK -- Tamalli Robert Ulutoa, infant son of Sikaleti and Rita (Miller) Ulutoa of Apple Creek, died at birth Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Akron General Medical Center.
Graveside services will be Monday at 6 p.m. at Fairlawn Mennonite Church Cemetery with the Revs. Duane Detweiler and Ken Wengerd officiating.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Tiana Ulutoa of the home; grandparents, Dan and Sue Miller of Berlin and Pau and Feluani Ulutoa of Samoa and great-grandparents, Dan and Sarah Hershberger of Berlin.
Betty Betit
PERRYSVILLE -- Betty J. Betit, 79, 1017 County Road 3286, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 14, 2002, at her home, following an extended illness.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Pine Run First Church of God, Loudonville, with the Rev. Wade Wolf officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial at a later date will be in Bennington, Vt.

She was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Eaton Rapids, Mich., to Samuel and Mary (Monroe) Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Betit, whom she married Nov. 19, 1956; four sons, Charles "Chuckie" Clayborn of Pounel, Vt., Charles Wilfred "Willie" Betit II of Middleville, Mich., Ron Betit of Ashland and William "Bill" Betit of Smithfield, N.C.; three daughters, Norma Shays of Pounel, Vt., Mary Sue Rayburn of Wadsworth and Jodie Kline of Butler; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Myrtle Smith of Owasso, Mich., and Eleanor Napoli of Harrisburg, Pa.

BERLIN -- Rodney Wayne Church, 66, of Berlin, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 14, 2002, at his residence, following an extended illness.

He was born June 23, 1936, in Pleasant City to James and Netta Fay (Wagner) Church.
Surviving are five children, Eldon Church and Allen Church, both of Berlin, Lisa Hudson of Reyno, Ark., Audrey Stonerock of Millersburg and Tammy Casto of Canton; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandson.

KILLBUCK -- Donald Lee Ferguson, 68, of Killbuck, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Sunset View Nursing Home in Millersburg, following an extended illness.
Services will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg with the Rev. John Castle officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery at a later date.

He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Ceredo, W.Va., to Hershal D. and Margaret (Collins) Ferguson.

NORWICH -- Jason Glen Gray, 26, of Norwich, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at his home.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 21, 1975, in Wadsworth to Kenneth and Helen (Armentrout) Gray.
Surviving are his daughter, Taylor Billy Jane of the home; his mother, Helen Gray of Creston; his father, Kenneth (Rhonda) Gray of Norwich; a sister, Holly (Daren) Crum of Norwich; a brother, Kenneth (Josie) Gray of Sterling; his grandmother, Elizabeth Armentrout of Creston; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Glenn James
MARION -- Glenn Willard James, 89, died Thursday morning, Aug. 15, 2002, at Community Care Nursing Center.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Denzer-Farison-Hottinger Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Jack Lewis Pursell and his son-in-law, the Rev. Gary Klempnauer officiating.

He was born Nov. 13, 1912, in Wayne County to Frank Asbury and Emily Elenora (Swinehart) James and married Doris Elizabeth "Betty" Wheaton McCombs in 1959. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are stepdaughters, Janet Gail McCombs of Millersburg, Merrill Beth (William) Cooper-Bender of Marion, Nan Lorraine (Gary) Klempnauer of Columbus; two grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Florence) James of Milwaukee, Wis. and a sister, Christine (Paul) Hoffman of Wooster.
Connie Kaufman
ORRVILLE -- Connie M. Kaufman, 44, 1419 W. Market St., died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Dunlap Hospital in Orrville, following a long illness.
Memorial services will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at Martins Mennonite Church near Orrville with the Rev. Randy Murray officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are being handled by Auble Funeral Home in Orrville.
She was born on March 30, 1958, in Norton to Thomas O. and Beulah "Billie" (Rutan) Milliken and married David N. Kaufman on Dec. 29, 1994 in Wooster. He survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Daniel "Dan" Brannon and John Monahan, a daughter, Erin Brannon, her mother, Beulah M. "Billie" Milliken, all of Orrville; five grandsons; a brother, Timothy I. Milliken of Barberton and sisters, Yvonne (Keith) Sisk of Orrville and Sherry Miller Boothe of Safe Harbor, Fla.

WEST SALEM -- Lee Phillip Martin, 44, 10685 Myers Road, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at his home, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Revs. Martin Fessler of Monterrey, Mexico, Earl Martin of Tabernacle of David and John Copus of Wooster Foursquare Gospel Church officiating. Burial will be at Mohican Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 7-9 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

He was born April 19, 1958 and was adopted May 19, 1959 by Dwight and Adelaide (Demos) Martin from the Isabella Orphanage in Pusan, Korea, through the Holt Adoption Program.
Surviving are his mother, Adelaide Martin of West Salem; sisters, Sharene (Laszlo) Marcze of West Salem and Jennifer (Edyed) Pyum of Akron; nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Janice Scherzinger
WOOSTER -- Janice "Jan" Scherzinger, 53, of Wooster, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, following complications from a stroke suffered in October 1980.
Memorial services will be at St. Mary Parish, Monday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m.
Burial will be in Cincinnati.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shriner's Hospital, Burn Unit, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati 45229.
Surviving are her husband, Ron Scherzinger; four children, Jennifer, Joy, Paul and Anne Scherzinger; three sisters and a brother in Cincinnati.
Ruth Sigler
WOOSTER -- Ruth A. Sigler, 90, of Wooster, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Apple Creek Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

She was born April 6, 1912, in Findland, Kan., to Guy and Effie (Holland) Fenstemaker.
Surviving are stepdaughters, Ethel Mason of Wooster and Charlotte (Blake) Sheneman of Orrville; stepsons, Marcus E. (Sharleen) Sigler and William Sigler, both of Wooster; six step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Marcus V. Sigler, whom she married in February 1961, died in 1977.
