SPARTA, Tenn. -- Jolene Kaye (Robinson) Willis, 45, of Sparta, Tenn. and formerly of Rittman and the Sterling area, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002.
Services were held at Harvest Outreach Ministries on Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. Tony Vinson and Jerry Overby officiated. Burial was at Town Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Love, Cantrel and Cope Funeral Home in McMinnville, Tenn.

She was born July 7, 1957, in Orrville to Rodroth and Donna Mae (Shannon) Robinson.
Surviving are her husband, Lester Willis; children, Theresa Tope and Joseph Tope, both of Columbus and Joshlyn and Nichole Andrews of Texas; her mother, Donna Mae Robinson of Rittman; two brothers, Jeff Robinson of Creston and Frank Robinson of Rittman; sisters, Ruth West of Sparta, Tenn. and Rose Waters of Murphy, N.C. and aunts and uncles.
Russell Fankhauser
DUNDEE -- Russell Dean Fankhauser, 71, of Dundee, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Union Hospital in Dover.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with the Rev. LuAnn Youngman officiating. Burial will be at Dundee Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.

He was born July 8, 1931, in Dundee to Gordon B. and Irene (Baker) Fankhauser.
Surviving are his wife, Marla Jean (Werstler) Fankhauser, whom he married July 14, 1949; four sons, Kenny Dean Fankhauser, Jeffrey Lynn (Jayne Ann) Fankhauser, Gregory Paul (Diana) Fankhauser and Bart Fankhauser, all of Dundee; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Marla) Raber of California; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, William "Bill" (Jane) Fankhauser of Dundee; and a sister, Mrs. Cliff (Paula Jean) Hartline of Sugarcreek.
William Hood
DANVILLE -- William George Hood, 80, 207 Ross St., died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Akron to the late Roy and Marquerite F. (Tarrh) Hood.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Moreland) Hood, whom he married Feb. 8, 1948. Also surviving are a son Greg (Sandy) Hood of Danville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville with the Rev. Gary Weller officiating. Burial will be in the Riley Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is today (Monday), Aug. 12, from 5-8 p.m. and until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Robert Lanier
MILLERSBURG -- Robert A. Lanier, 79, of Millersburg, and formerly of Brewster, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg.
Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster. Burial will be in the Welty Cemetery near Brewster.

He was born May 21, 1923, in Massillon to Robert and Mae (Slack) Lanier and married Norma P. "Issie" Huffman on Jan. 12, 1968. She died March 14, 1993.
He is survived by two daughters, Valerie Vogelsong of Beach City and Becky Black of Massillon; four sons, Kevin Lanier of Brewster, Randy Lanier of Marietta, Ga., David Lanier of Massillon and Michael McHenry of Brewster; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Gabriel and Michael Smith
WOOSTER -- Gabriel and Michael Smith, of Wooster, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002.
Private graveside services were held Saturday, Aug. 10, in Wooster Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan Ward officiating.
Arrangements were handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 5, 2002, in Wooster, they were the twin sons of Benjamin W. and Tracy Thompson Smith.
Surviving are their parents of Wooster; a brother, Steven; paternal grandparents, Ben and Mary Smith of New Lexington, and maternal grandparents, Ted and Barb Thompson of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Willie Walters
ORRVILLE -- Willie Walters, 79, 1700 W. Church St., died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002, at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Orrville following a long illness.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Orrville, with the Rev. Robert Golson officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
He was born Jan. 2, 1924, in Autaugaville, Ala., to Jack and Madie (Arbee) Walters and married Versie L. Davis on Oct. 17, 1943, in Autaugaville, Ala. She died Dec. 6, 1992.
Surviving are a son, Sean D. Jones of Orrville; three daughters, Madie (Ronald) Hill of Redford, Mich., Bertha Walters and Pearl Walters, both of Orrville; his mother, Madie Adams of Orrville; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lula Ashley
SEVILLE -- Lula M. Ashley, 73, 40 Prospect St., died Friday, August 9, 2002, at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland.
Services will be Wednesday at noon at the Roberts Funeral Home, Hillcrest Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Richards officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

She was born October 16, 1928, in Nebo, W.Va., to Lon and Myrtle (Starcher) Tanner. She married Charles E. Ashley on November 6, 1949. He survives.

Donald Barnett Jr.
WOOSTER -- Donald E. Barnett Jr., 61, 6734 Hiner Road, died Friday, August 9, 2002, at his residence.
Private services will be held Tuesday with Pastor Bob Fetterhoff officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be held.

Don was born December 8, 1940, in Allegheny County, Pa., to Donald E. and Leah (Schmidt) Barnett Sr. He married Milly J. (Snoddy) Crabtree on September 30, 1989. She survives.

CRESTON -- Roger Jay Elliston, 47, 10340 Wooster Pike, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 10, 2002, at his home, following a brief illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Donald Kuntz officiating.

He was born May 15, 1955, in Lodi to John and Ruth (Heathman) Elliston. He married Diana McMasters on Nov. 27, 1992. She survives.

WOOSTER -- Noble R. Flener, 77, 7926 McQuaid Road, died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Anne Jennings
AKRON -- Anne Jennings, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, after a brief illness.
She was born in Passaic, N.J.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Dan Strong of Wooster; a son, Edward Jennings of Akron; a grandson and two granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m. at the Church in the Valley, 2241 Everett Road in Penninsula.
The Cremation Society of Ohio is handling arrangements.
Kendra Kenison
EAST HAMPTON, Conn. -- Kendra Leigh Kenison, 52, of East Hampton, Conn., and formerly of Millersburg, died Thursday, August 8, 2002, at her residence.
Private graveside services will be Tuesday, August 13, 2002, at the Prairie Township Cemetery with Pastor John Harrison and nephew, Associate Pastor Matthew Flinner, officiating.

She was born Feb. 15, 1950, in Millersburg and was the daughter of Kenneth G. and Dorothy K. Curren. On Nov. 25, 1994, she married Lee Kenison and he survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her mother, Dorothy K. Davenport of Millersburg; three brothers, Kerry Curren of Rockport, Maine, Kelly (Vicki) Curren and Kraig Curren of Millersburg; two sisters, Kim (Dick) Flinner and Karen (Larry) Shaffer of Millersburg; stepdaughter, Lynn Pinkston of Colchester, Conn., 11 nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews and one step-grandson.
Raymond Swartzentruber
MILLERSBURG -- Raymond Swartzentruber, 84, of Millersburg, died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2002, at the Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, following a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gospel Haven Church, state Route 241, Benton, with the Rev. Levi Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Zion Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery.

He was born April 11, 1918, in Holmes County to Abner J. and Elizabeth (Hershberger) Swartzentruber. On Nov. 30, 1939, he married Anna Stutzman and she survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are five children and their spouses, Betty and Abe Mast of Millersburg, Joan and Jacob Mast of Walnut Creek, David and Irene Swartzentruber of Benton, Elsie and Wallace Sommers Jr. of Millersburg and Wanda and Dave Byler of West Jefferson; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four brothers and their spouses, Alvin and Sarah Swartzentruber of Dalton, Ivan and Geneva Swartzentruber of Wooster, Eli and Lula Swartzentruber of Berlin and Junior and Fannie Swartzentruber of Berlin, and three sisters and their spouses, Verna and Emmanuel Weaver of Holmesville, Erma and David Stutzman of Sugarcreek and Viola and Emmanuel Barkman of Fredericksburg.

RITTMAN -- Mae I. Allemand, 94, of Rittman, died Thursday evening, Aug. 8, 2002, at the Apostolic Christian Home.
Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Rittman with the Rev. Bret A. Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be on Monday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.

She was born April 8, 1906, in Dalton, to John Frederick and Mary Elizabeth (Williaman) Zaugg and married Loyal C. Camp in 1932. He died Jan. 27, 1982.
