WOOSTER -- Frederick Phaneuf, 86, of Wooster, died Saturday, Jan. 10, at Wooster Community Hospital. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Custer Funeral Home with Rev. O.J. Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to time of service at the funeral home.

Rudeen Kratzer
DALTON -- Rudeen L. Kratzer, 51, of Dalton, died Saturday, Jan. 10, in the emergency room of Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, after being taken from her home. Family memorial services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, with the Rev. Wayne Kratzer officiating. There will be no calling hours. Her body will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1161 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster 44691.

Walter Voltz
BERLIN -- Walter F. Voltz, 87, of Berlin, died Saturday, Jan. 10, at Sunset Skilled Nursing Center in Millersburg, after a short illness. Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Berlin Cemetery, with the Rev. Wendell Beal officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. WADSWORTH -- Rowland D. Moyer, 84, of Wadsworth, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, after a brief illness. Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Hilliard-Cox-Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 225 W. Exchange St., Akron 44302.

WOOSTER -- Mildred L. Barcus, 76, formerly of 2252 E. Tolbert Road, Wooster, died Saturday evening, Jan. 10, at Wooster Community Hospital. Private family services will be held, with the Rev. Jerry Murphy officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements.

WOOSTER -- Clara M. Hanna, 96, formerly of College Avenue, Wooster, died this morning, Jan. 13, at Horn Nursing Home. Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. Burial will be at Apple Creek Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

WOOSTER -- Richard O. Riffel, 70, 2909 Varian Road, Wooster, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10, 1998, at Wooster Community Hospital. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wooster. There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, P.O. Box 109, Wooster; or to Wooster Township Fire & Rescue, 1917 Millersburg Road, Wooster 44691.

WOOSTER -- Margaret "Patsy" Moore, 66, of Holly Avenue, Shalimar, Fla., formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Services were held Friday, Jan. 9 in Hendersonville, N.C. Burial was in Fletcher, N.C., where military rites were conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5206, American Legion Post 77 and Disabled Veterans Chapter 14.

NEW PHILADELPHIA -- R. Joanne Moyer, 68, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, Jan. 12, at Union Hospital in Dover, after a short illness. Services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Robert Holmes officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the services at the funeral home. LOUDONVILLE -- J.A. Ray Laser, 80, 722 N. Market St., died Monday morning, Jan. 12, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Jason Burns officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Perrysville Veterans of Foreign Wars and Loudonville American Legion. DELAWARE -- Margaret F. Hersman, 71, of Delaware, formerly of Doylestown, died Sunday, Jan. 11, after a lengthy illness. NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. -- Mary Allen, 93, of New Port Richey, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 3, at La Casa Grande Nursing Home. She was the mother of Elizabeth Bragg of Wooster. Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home in Holiday, Fla. Burial was at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, Fla.

SAUKVILLE, Wis. -- Don E. Brinkerhoff, 74, of Saukville, Wis., formerly of Burbank, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at St. Mary's Hospital-Ozaukee, Mequon, Wis., from cancer. STONECREEK -- Verna B. Gintz, 100, 5357 Maple St., died Monday, Jan. 12, at Hennis Care Center in Dover, after a brief illness. Private graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at 2:30 at St. Jacob's Cemetery near Stonecreek. The Rev. Kirk Bruce officiated. Arrangements handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob's Cemetery, in care of Jill Borter in Stonecreek.

Aden Yoder
FRESNO -- Aden J. Yoder, 52, 32151 County Road 12, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, from injuries sustained in an accident while cutting down a tree near his home. Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Ivan R. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at the family cemetery. Friends may call anytime today (Wednesday) after 2 at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.

MaryAnn Bohmler
TOLEDO -- MaryAnn Bohmler, 60, of Toledo, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at her home. She was the sister of Peggy Ohm of Wooster. Memorial Mass will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Toledo. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.

William Schreiber
WOOSTER -- William I. Schreiber, the Gingrich Professor of German, emeritus at The College of Wooster, died Monday, Jan. 12, at Wooster Community Hospital. He was 91. Memorial services will be Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at McGaw Chapel, The College of Wooster, located on the north side of University Street west of College Avenue. There will be no calling hours, but the family welcomes visits from friends. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the William I. Schreiber Fund, The College of Wooster.

Jack Albury
HERNANDO BEACH, Fla. -- Jack F. Albury, 70, of Hernando Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by Turner Cremation & Memorial Chapel, Commercial Way, Spring Hill, Fla.

STERLING -- Gerhart Aebi, 74, 9078 Fulton Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 1998, at Akron General Medical Center. Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Rittman Apostolic Christian Church, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at Apostolic Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Road, Rittman 44270.

STONECREEK -- Clyde W. "Cy" Walters, 90, 338 N. Millborne Road, Orrville, died Monday evening, Jan. 12, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, after a period of declining health. There will be no services. Burial was held today (Wednesday) at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster. Auble Funeral Home in Orrville handled arrangements. WILMOT -- Erma P. Harrold, 89, formerly of Wilmot, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Doctors Hospital in Massillon. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, with the Rev. Marian Glass officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmot. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services. RITTMAN -- Nettie M. Whitenack, 83, 405 W. Sunset Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Rittman Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with the Rev. William E. Holstine officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
