LOUDONVILLE -- Esther Pabst, 97, 734 W. Main St., died Monday evening, Dec. 31, 2001, at Samaritan Hospital, following a brief illness.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with her grandson, David Huffman officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 26, 1904, in Leon, W.Va., to Knight and Florence (Coleman) Quickle and married Homer Pabst. He died previously.
Surviving are three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a brother, David Quickle of Loudonville.

BIG PRAIRIE -- Jane Cable, 84, of Big Prairie, died Sunday evening, Dec. 30, 2001, at Majora Lane Care Center, Millersburg.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 344 N. Columbus Ave., Wooster, where friends will be received following the services. It was her wishes for cremation to take place.
Arrangements are being handled by Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster.

WADSWORTH -- Carl O. Pinkley, 86, of Wadsworth, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Altercare of Wadsworth.

He was born in Wayne County to Homer and Maggie (Clause) Pinkley and was married to Ruth (Haskins) Pinkley for 63 years. She died previously.
Surviving are a daughter, Lillian (Bob) Kinnard of Wadsworth; a grandson, Brian (Gina) Kinnard of Mount Vernon, who was the joy of his life; a brother, Roy Pinkley of Phoenix, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.

WOOSTER -- Helen E. McLachlan, 93, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at the home of her son, John, in Wooster.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home in Indiana, Pa., where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery in Indiana, Pa.

Elizabeth Buchwalter
WOOSTER -- Elizabeth I. Buchwalter, 83, of Wooster, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Wooster.
Elizabeth's life will be honored and celebrated during a church service at First Presbyterian Church in the spring. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, is handling arrangements.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Brewster, to Arthur and Faye (Reed) Spidel and married Heber Buchwalter. He died Aug. 30, 1977.
Surviving are a nephew, Larry (Karen) Spidel of Massillon; and a great-nephew, Adam Spidel of Columbus.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Debra J. Rogers, 46, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Wooster, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at her home.
Graveside services were Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at Trinity Memorial Cemetery in New Port Richey, Fla.

She was born Feb. 15, 1955, in Wooster to Cliff and Louise Copley.

He was born March 25, 1936, in Barberton to Elmer W. and Esther R. (Justice) Wagner and married Thelma Watts. She survives.

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Margaret Ann (Kitts) Christian, 90, formerly of Rittman, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Prichard, W.Va., to Sidney and Susie (Davis) Kitts.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna (Curt) Fritzinger of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Martha Bennington of Chandler, Ariz.
Her husband, Eustace Christian, died previously.

COLUMBUS -- Barry S. Will, 37, of Columbus, formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at his home.

She was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Wooster to Clyde and Florence Berry and was adopted at birth and raised by Charles and Florena Thompson. She married Richard G. Miller on Jan. 3, 1942 in Wooster's Memorial Chapel. He died Aug. 21, 2000.
Surviving are children, Sandra (Ronald C.) Baldwin of Columbus and Darby Jo (Donald A., M.D.) Pocock of Charleston, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
