WOOSTER -- Vincent E. Lawrence, 86, of Portage Road, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Glenn Royer officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.

He was born May 25, 1915, in Wayne County, to Otto and Florence (Kline) Lawrence.
Surviving are a brother, James E. Lawrence of Wooster; two nieces and one nephew.
Tammy Rowe
MILLERSBURG -- Tammy L. Rowe, 40, 638 S. Monroe St., died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, with the Rev. Duane Means officiating. Burial will be at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 2, 1961, in Coshocton, to Frank D. and Joyce A. (Darr) Hanzo and married Timothy D. Rowe on April 13, 1999. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Rebecca A. (Duane) Means, Amanda I. and Renee L. Bartlett, all of Coshocton; stepchildren, Jeremy and Kari Rowe, both of Millersburg; six grandchildren; a sister, Teresa A. Hanzo of Coshocton; an aunt; and several nieces and nephews.
Laura McFrederick
BEALLSVILLE -- Laura McFrederick, 92, of Beallsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Barnesville Hospital.
She was the mother of Mary Ellen Howell of Orrville.
Services were held today (Saturday) at 1 p.m. at Harper Funeral Home in Beallsville. Burial was at Jerusalem Cemetery.
She was born April 30, 1909, in Belmont County, to Oscar and Anna Laura (White) Reed and married Melville McFrederick. He died previously.
Other survivors include children, Reed (Sandy) McFrederick, Joe (Ocie) McFrederick and Annie (Don) Dillon, all of Jerusalem, Rodney McFrederick of Beallsville and Miriam (Delbert) Cornett of Zanesville; 24 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Jeanette) Reed of Newark; and a sister, Winnie (Ottis) Brown of San Bernardino, Calif.
Beulah Hootman
POLK -- Beulah Hootman, 86, formerly of 392 Township Road 1080, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Kingston of Ashland.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with Pastor Ed Graves officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 16, 1915, in West Salem, to Hatton and Pauline (Neal) Grafton and married Myron Hootman. He died Sept. 26, 2000.
Surviving are children, Christine Alexander of Dayton, Ann Wagner of Plymouth, Mich., Marjorie McQuate, Tom and Don Hootman, all of Polk, Alice Gallion of Wellington and Maurice Hootman of Mount Gilead; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a half-brother, Vern Grafton of California.
Shady Nichols
CRESTON -- Shady F. Nichols, 69, 140 Sterling St., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at his home.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Carl Wilson Funeral Home in Clay, W.Va., where friends may call one hour prior to services. The Rev. Dennis Legg will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in Bickmore, W.Va.
Local calling hours will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.

He was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Sissonville, W.Va., to Luther F. and Gladys (Wheatcraft) Nichols and married Wanda Oleda Ramsey on June 9, 1972. She died March 27, 1988.
Surviving are children Terry (Robert) Baker and Linda Nichols, both of Orrville, Michael (Linda) Ramsey of Ashland and Terry (Wyona) Ramsey of Ivydale, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers Bruce Nichols of Rittman, Alvin Nichols of Smithville and Mark Nichols of Elkview, W.Va.; and a sister, Katherine Smith of Lebanon, Tenn.

CANTON -- Timothy J. Stephan, 63, of Canton, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at his home.

He was born to Charles A. and Jeannette (Harper) Stephan.

LODI -- Irene N. Thompson, 76, of Lodi, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at her home.

He was born Jan. 29, 1910, in New Castle, Pa., to Walter A. and Mary May (Smith) Shira and married Mildred A. Schafer on March 3, 1931. She died previously.

MARSHALLVILLE -- Charleen E. Blondeaux, 49, 11 W. Church St., died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at her residence after a three-month illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Robin Myers officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.

She was born March 21, 1952, in Orrville to Charles A. and Grace (Sofield) Wines and married Richard A. Blondeaux on Nov. 19, 1983, in Orrville. He survives.

Harry Dennis Jr.
MILLERSBURG -- Harry L. Dennis Jr., 86, born Jan. 10, 1915, in Pennsylvania, joined his family in heaven on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001.
He had five brothers and four sisters. One brother survives, Mike Dennis of Maryland.
An open to the public memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the dining room at Scenic View Nursing Home for all those who were touched by Harry. Father Ron Aubry will officiate.
Fannie Nottingham
MILLERSBURG -- Fannie M. Nottingham, 83, of Millersburg died Sunday morning, Jan. 6, 2002, at Pomerene Hospital after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Berlin with the Rev. Wendell Beal officiating. Burial will be at Berlin Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.

She was born Feb. 19, 1918, in Holmes County to Alvin and Minnie (Miller) Oswald and married Edward Nottingham on Aug. 24, 1969. He died Dec. 26, 1980.
Surviving are a niece, Janet Sampsel, and a nephew, David Farver, both of Millersburg; and several great-nieces and nephews.

ASHLAND -- Louise M. Donelson, 72, 1939 S. Baney Road, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at her home.

She was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Ashland County to Howard and Martha (Ludwig) Keets and married Allen Donelson. He died March 21, 1999.

Peggy Bicker
JEROMESVILLE -- Peggy Ann Bicker, 58, 481 County Road 2000, died Friday morning, Jan. 4, 2002, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Jeromesville Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Alan Smearsoll officiating. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.
There will be no calling hours. Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling arrangements.

She was born July 18, 1943, in Holmes County to William and Rosanna (Myers) Painter and married Thomas Bicker on Aug. 22, 1984. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Sonja Benjamin of Wyoming and Colton Bicker of the home; her mother of Wooster; four grandchildren; and sisters, Patsy Lynscott of Wooster and Pamela Riggleman of Fredericktown.
Jean Harper
ASHLAND -- Jean L. Harper, 82, of Katherine Avenue, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at Wintersong Nursing Home in Hayesville, after an extended illness.
On Aug. 31, 1919 in Fairmont, Pa., Jean was born to James and Clema (Myers) Leaf. On Aug. 30, 1941, Jean married Lester "Casey" Harper, who preceded her in 1996.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanie and Ben Helbert of Jeromesville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, William Leaf of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two sisters, Louise Chushing of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Ruth Hayden of North Huntington, Pa.
Memorial service will be Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, 11 a.m. at Circleville United Methodist Church, 11600 Parkway Drive, North Huntingdon, Pa. 15642-2063. Interment will be at Penn-Lincoln Cemetery in North Huntingdon, Pa.

He was born May 2, 1929, in Wayne County to William O. and Nellie (Daye) Butler.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Glenda) Drouhard and Debbie Clum, both of Wooster and Julie M. Butler of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin C. (Doris) Butler and Tom (Jenny) Butler, both of Charlotte, N.C. and James A. Butler of Wooster and a sister, Shirley Rummel of Charlotte, N.C.
Emma Brock
DENVER, Colo. -- B. Emma Brock, born in Santa Paula, Calif., and a long-time resident of Wooster, died in Denver, Colo. on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001. She was 94 years old.
Mrs. Brock was married to the late Rev. Floyd J. Brock.
She was the mother of six children, Dr. Floyd J. Brock Jr. of Monterey, Calif., John Hume Brock of Creston, the late David Joseph Brock, Diane Brock Lewis of Denver, Colo., Charles Daniel Brock of Barrington, Ill. and Paul Nathan Brock of Elida. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may pay their respects on Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, from 2-5 p.m. at Skillin Chapel in Santa Paula, Calif.
A graveside service will be held at Santa Paula Cemetery on Jan. 12, 2002, at 11 a.m.
