ORRVILLE -- Joanne B. Beichler, 67, 2414 Chippewa Road, entered into rest Wednesday evening, Feb. 27, 2002, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Smithville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allan R. Bevere officiating. Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton Road, Smithville 44677; or to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born May 9, 1934, in Burton City, Wayne County, to Burl W. and Luella (Horst) Singer and married Carl E. Beichler on Nov. 18, 1950, in Washington, Pa. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her loving husband, are children, Michael (Brenda) Beichler of Wooster, Tom (Trish) Beichler and Shari (Dennis) Indermuhle, both of Sterling, Sue (Sam) Sayre and Deb (Ron) Leach, both of Wooster; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Duane (Pam) Singer of Ashland; and sisters, Louise (Ray) Besancon of Fredericksburg, Lois (Duane) Burns of Naples, Fla., and Peg (Larry) Imhoff of Wooster.
Amanda Croft
SUGARCREEK -- Amanda Ellen Croft, 91, 5503 Township Road 419, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Union Hill United Methodist Church in Sugarcreek, with John Yoder, David Stutzman and Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Sharon Conservative Mennonite Church near Sugarcreek.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holmes County; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
She was born March 2, 1910, in the Becks Mills area of Holmes County to Samuel S. and Katie Ann (Miller) Weaver and married John E. Croft on June 2, 1932. He died April 27, 1971.
Surviving are children, Doris (Frosty) Ridenbaugh of Beach City, Arlene Logsdon of Brinkhaven, John M. (Wanda) Croft of Dover, Alton (Grace) Croft of Baltic, Francis (Connie) Croft of Stonecreek and Robert Croft of Sugarcreek, with whom she had made her home; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lulu (Henry) Miller of Apple Creek, and brothers, Atlee (Vera) Weaver of Apple Creek and Melvin (Dorothy) Weaver of Fresno.
Saloma Petersheim
HARMON -- Saloma Petersheim, 82, a resident of Country Lawn Nursing Home in Harmon since 1997, formerly of Wilmot, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at the nursing home after a period of declining health.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brewster Baptist Church, with Pastor David Widner officiating. Cremation has taken place.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster.

She was born April 18, 1919, in Mount Hope, to Eli and Amanda (Kolb) Petersheim and had been a housekeeper at The College of Wooster.
Surviving is a cousin, Anna Troyer of Beach City, with whom she had made her home.
Harold Musser
FREEPORT -- Harold Musser, 76, of Freeport, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Brenn-Field Nursing Home in Orrville.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Stephen Kummernuss officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the graveside services at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown.

He was born Jan. 13, 1926, in Marshallville, to Noah and Anna (Fetter) Musser.
Surviving are sisters, Elma Gsellman of Wadsworth, Evelyn (Stephen) Curtis and Ruby (Wilbur) Benner, both of Orrville, Esther Hartzler of Smithville, Anna Belle Linnen of Illinois, Helen (Nelson) Berger and Ruth (Bill) Bond, both of Marshallville and Mary Ellen (Mel) Bolt of Wooster.
Richard Holmes
WOOSTER -- Richard W. Holmes, 87, 311 E. South St., Wooster, formerly of Smithville, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.
There will be no services or calling hours. Burial of the cremains will be at Paradise Cemetery near Smithville. Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville is handling arrangements.
He was born Jan. 22, 1915, in Smithville to Clifford and Mabel E. (Griffith) Holmes.
Surviving is a sister, Catherine Sayre of Akron.
Effie Weaver
FREDERICKSBURG -- Effie A. Weaver, 53, 9614 James Road, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at her home after a three-month illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Eli M. Miller officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime at the residence. Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.
She was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Millersburg to Albert and Ada (Yoder) Gingerich and married Roman B. Weaver on May 30, 1970. He survives.
Other survivors include children Linda and Ada Mae, both of the home, Laura (Aden) Miller of Dundee, Ruth (David) Weaver of Millersburg and Mervin (Dora) Weaver of the home; grandchildren Brian, Gary, Matthew, Amy, Marcus, Steven and Michael; her mother of Fredericksburg; brothers Alvin (Mary) Gingerich and Albert (Ruth) Gingerich Jr., both of Fredericksburg, and Ervin (Marilyn) Gingerich of Dundee; and sisters Arie (Atlee) Yoder and Susan (Alvin) Miller, both of Fredericksburg.

SUGARCREEK -- Ronnie Andrew Raber, 14-month-old son of Marcus and Sharon (Hershberger) Raber, 2030 Holmes County Road 144, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, at the residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Atlee A. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County.

He was born Dec. 15, 2000, in Millersburg and is survived in addition to his parents by a sister, Emily Grace of the home; grandparents Nelson A. and Clara Hershberger of Sugarcreek and Mervin E. and Twila Raber of Millersburg; and great-grandparents Eli and Ida Raber and Fannie Yoder, all of Millersburg.
Pearl Gerber
DOVER -- Pearl L. Gerber, 96, of Dover, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at New Dawn Health Care Center in Dover.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover, with the Rev. Steven Daniels officiating. Burial will be at Dover Burial Park.

ASHLAND -- Dwight C. Allenbaugh, 91, a resident of Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland for the past 8 1/2 years, formerly of Loudonville, died Friday morning, March 1, 2002.
Services will be Monday at noon at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with Harry Morr officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.

He was born July 12, 1910, in Mohican Township to Arthur and Eldora "Minnie" (Zimmerman) Allenbaugh and married Mary Rohrbaugh on Sept. 2, 1948. She survives.
Other survivors include children Boyd E. (Sharon) Allenbaugh of Jeromesville, Jim D. (Karen) Allenbaugh of Wooster and Twila J. Allenbaugh and Gloria A. (Aaron) Smail, both of Loudonville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rev. Dr. H.H. Fischer
WADSWORTH -- The Rev. Dr. H.H. Fischer, 76, of Wadsworth, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Wadsworth United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St., with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Willard Tanney
STERLING -- Willard R. Tanney, 81, of Sterling, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Wadsworth with the Rev. Roger Loomis officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman or one hour prior to the services at the church.
He was born Dec. 4, 1920, in New Castle, Pa., to William and Nellie (Voisey) Tanney and married Lillian Fullwood on Nov. 14, 1952. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Andrea (Ken) McGregor of Mansfield, Barbara Ingram of Orrville, Cheryl Waltz of Brewster and Rick (Soni) Tanney of Lubec, Maine; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Alma Craig
CLARK -- Alma I. Craig, 96, of Clark, died Sunday morning, March 3, 2002, at Majora Lane Nursing Home, after an extended illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Eldon Trubee officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 1, 1905, in Holmes County to Samuel J. and Jenny Mae (Patterson) Neal and married Ralph F. Elliott. He died in 1964. On July 2, 1966, she married Maynard Craig. He died in 1974.
Surviving are stepdaughters, Garnet (Gerald) Iceman of Massillon, Margaret Seifert of North Canton and Pauline Wagers of Clark; 10 step-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; five step-great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Catherine Elliott of Millersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Phyllis Fedevich
DALTON -- Phyllis J. Fedevich, 83, of Dalton, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at her home.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Dalton with the Rev. Jeff Hatfield officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 1, 1918, in Philipsburg, Pa., to John and Dora (Nash) McTigue and married James Fedevich. He died previously.
Surviving are children, Jim Fedevich of Wooster and DeeDee Ludwig of Canton; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Doloris (Russell) Shaw of Pennsylvania.

WOOSTER -- Mae M. Evans, 97, formerly of 905 Portage Road, died Saturday morning, March 2, 2002, at West View Manor Nursing Home.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.

She was born July 15, 1904, in Washington, D.C., to James and Lucy (Price) Mathieson and married Solson E. Evans. He died in 1966.
Surviving are a son, Jack E. Evans of Wooster; and two grandchildren.
