BERLIN -- Dallas G. Alberts, 67, of Berlin, died Tuesday evening, March 5, 2002, at Sunset View Nursing Home, Millersburg, following a brief illness.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Berlin with the Revs. Dan Meininger and Steve Sandison officiating. Burial will be at the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin.
Friends may call Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

He was born April 20, 1934, in Berlin, to Lester and Dora (Crilow) Alberts and married Carol Ann Wengerd on June 6, 1952. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four children and their spouses, Craig and Pamela Alberts of Dalton, Gary and Teresa Alberts of Sugarcreek, Elaine and Jeffrey Rennie of Glenmont and Brenda and Kenneth Austin of Warrenton, Va.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three brothers and their spouses, Norman and Kathy Alberts of Jackson, Ky., Cletus and Charlotte Alberts of Wooster and Merle Alberts of Millersburg.
Robert Shaffer
MILLERSBURG -- Robert L. Shaffer, 72, of Lake Buckhorn, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton, following an extended illness.
Services will be Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
Friends may call one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
He was born May 1, 1929, in Akron, to William and Adeline Shaffer and married Dorothy Matunich on April 27, 1957. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Lynda Frashuer of Akron, Roberta and husband, Glen Griffin of Tacoma, Wash. and Jeffrey Shaffer of Akron; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three brothers, Claude and wife, Margie Shaffer, William and wife, Roseann Shaffer and Russell and wife, Kathryn Shaffer, all of Kent and a sister, Marie Davis of Kent.
Norma Otto
BIG PRAIRIE -- Norma J. Otto, 69, 12435 Shreve Road, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. William Lawson officiating.
There will be no calling hours.

She was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Wayne County, to John and Evelyn (Kauffman) Honabarger.

Otto, whom she married Oct. 20, 1948; a daughter, Lesa (Tim) Morris of Big Prairie; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; eight sisters, Shirley Miller, Carolyn (Jim) Bevington, Jackie Rice, Cheryl Woodruff and Marilyn, all of Wooster, Janet (Lemoine) Durbin of Reedsburg, Nancy Russell of North Canton and Kathi (Rick) Byrd of Apple Creek and three brothers, John Honabarger, Jerry Honabarger and Kenny Honabarger, all of Millersburg.
Levi Miller
MILLERSBURG -- Levi L. Miller, 68, 4562 County Road 207, died early Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at his home, following an extended illness.
Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at his residence with Bishop Aden J. Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Miller Cemetery, Berlin Township, Holmes County.

He was born Feb. 13, 1934, near Charm, to Levi N. and Anna (Troyer) Miller and married Anna J. Miller on Nov. 14, 1957. She survives.

CRESTON -- Charles E. "Jeff" Hookway, 89, of Creston, died Monday evening, March 4, 2002, at Altercare of Navarre, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Donald Kuntz officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery.

He was born March 7, 1912, in Canaan Township, to William and Gertrude (Ellis) Hookway and married Lois Hane on Feb. 15, 1936. She died April 10, 1994.
Surviving are two daughters, Gertrude "Trudy" (Howard) Hartong and Phyllis (Roger) Maiwurm, both of Massillon; two granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews.
Jeffery Fishburn
MASSILLON -- Jeffery William Fishburn, infant son of Jeffery and Denise (McWeeny) Fishburn, 214 Parkland Ave., was stillborn Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Massillon Community Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home, 320 Federal NE, Massillon. Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in downtown Massillon, with Father Carl Uhler, celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are brothers, Andrew, Kevin and Jacob, sisters, Racheal, Kayla, Emily and Maria, all of the home; grandparents, Dale and Linda Fishburn and Jim and Linda McWeeny, all of West Salem; great-grandparents, Bob and Virginia Fishburn and Rodger and Betty Miller, all of Wooster; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Estella Radabaugh
SHREVE -- Estella Radabaugh, 92, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Horn's Nursing Center in Wooster following a period of declining health.
Cremation is being handled by Schlabach Funeral Home, with burial of the cremains at a later date.
She was born May 10, 1909, in Wayne County to Jacob and Myrtie (Kiser) Cayhoe and married Lemuel Radabaugh on Aug. 6, 1951. He died July 30, 1970.
Surviving are a niece and two nephews.
G. Bruce Briggs
COVINGTON -- G. Bruce Briggs, DVM, 62, of Covington died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Troy with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II and the Rev. Sandra Huber officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Troy.

He was born July 27, 1939 in Wooster to Warren and Paulyne Briggs and married Myrle Wright. She survives.

Peoria, Ill.; a brother, Richard Briggs of Millersburg and a sister, Elizabeth Briggs of Fullerton, Calif.
Alice Grim
ASHLAND -- Alice R. "Grandma" Grimm, 85, formerly of Sherman Avenue, died Thursday morning, March 7, 2002, at Kingston of Ashland.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with Pastor James Rowsey officiating. Burial will be at the Ashland Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 18, 1916, in Clear Creek Township to Fenn and Edythe (Benton) Shriver and married Charles W. Grimm on July 30, 1939. He died in 1975.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane and Mark Beichler of Holmesville and Leesa Sears of Akron; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

WOOSTER -- Homer Creal Cunningham, 87, of Wooster died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, with Pastor William Valentine officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens where military rites will be held.

He was born March 16, 1914, in Pike, W.Va., to William Earl and Blanche V. (Satterfield) Cunningham. He married Elsie Jameson on Dec. 30, 1940. She survives.

KILLBUCK -- Alton Tabereaux, 47, of Killbuck, died Friday morning, March 8, 2002, at his residence, following an extended illness.

He was born Dec. 9, 1954, in Detroit, Mich., to Alton Tabereaux and Garnie Parker Marshall and married Patricia Rice on June 2, 1977. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two stepchildren, Doris Hosfelt of Michigan and Brian Hosfelt of Michigan; three step-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister of Michigan; five brothers of Killbuck; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews and his mother.

WADSWORTH -- Pauline E. (Rittenhouse) Derhammer, 81, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Sempercare Hospital of Akron, following a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, with Pastor Robin L. Hart officiating. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

She married Robert Derhammer Sr. He died previously.

LOUDONVILLE -- Britton D. Young II, 64, 7700 Washington Township Road 462, died Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2002, at his home.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk.

III and Theresa Young of Westlake, Matthew D. and Michele Young of Lancaster and Don J. and Heidi Cooperrider Young of Redmond, Wash.; four grandchildren and a sister, Anna Young Knorr, of Pasadena, Calif.

LOUDONVILLE -- Emmett B. Boyd, 97, 403 N. Spring St., died Friday morning, March 8, 2002, at Morningview Care Center, Danville, following a brief illness.

Services will be today (Saturday) at 1 p.m. at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home in Massillon with the Rev. Leslie A. Peine officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

He was born Sept. 2, 1920, in Holmes County, to Matthew L. and Gladys (Guthrie) Casey.

Mauger of Alexandria, La.; three granddaughters; a grandson; two sisters, Janice Gamertsfelder and Elizabeth Robinson, both of Warsaw and two brothers, Dwight M. Casey of Wooster and Allen L.
