C. Eugene Zook
WADSWORTH -- C. Eugene Zook, 76, of Wadsworth, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Altercare of Wadsworth.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 28, at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home in Wadsworth. Burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.
He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Wayne County to Albert and Irene (Hershberger) Zook and married Margaret Papp. She died in December 1995.
Surviving are children, Kenneth (Fran) Zook of Rittman, Michael (Yvonne) Zook of Wadsworth and Debora (James) Hummel of Medina; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; sisters, Dorothy McGrew of Orrville and Louise Cheshier of Arizona; and a brother, Allen Zook of Colorado.

Mary Atkins
ALEXANDRIA, Ala. -- Mary Jean (Mancini) Atkins, 85, of Alexandria, Ala., died Friday, March 8, 2002.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
She was born Dec. 30, 1916, in Wooster to V.J. and Josephine (Vitullo) Mancini.
Surviving are her husband, four children, seven grandchildren and a sister, Josephine Lonero.

Linda Atterholt
ASHLAND -- Linda L. Atterholt, 38, 1189 County Road 2075, died Thursday, March 7, 2002, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 5 p.m. at Mohicanville Community Church, with the Rev. Arthur Snell officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, 310 College Ave., Ashland 44805; or to STOP Animal Shelter, 1152 Lexington Ave., Mansfield 44907.
She was born April 18, 1963, in Ashland to Dwight and Dolores (Blough) Atterholt.
Other survivors include her mother, Dolores Shaffner of Ashland; her father, Dwight (Kathleen) Atterholt of Wooster; sisters, Debra (Chris) Arnold, Cindy Dove and Lori (Robert) Haley, and a brother, Jeffrey (Barbara) Atterholt, all of Ashland; a stepsister, Vicki Paullin of Jeromesville; and maternal grandfather, Paul A. Blough of Ashland.

Dong Ye Lance
RITTMAN -- Dong Ye Lance, 60, of Rittman, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Magnolia Care Center in Wadsworth.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sterling.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born March 9, 1942, in Seoul, South Korea.
Surviving are children, Eric Lance of Rittman, Christine Lance of Akron and Judy (Lance) Berry of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two grandsons; a brother and two sisters in South Korea.

Hazel Mumaw
LOUDONVILLE -- Hazel Mumaw, 94, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville after a long illness.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ashland Cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Miller officiating.
Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 2-4 at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville.
She was born Sept. 7, 1907, in Ashland to John and Emma (Arnold) Starner and married Tully Mumaw. He died in 1966.
There are no immediate survivors.

Otis Huffer
LOUDONVILLE -- Otis H. Huffer, 85, 325 N. Adams St., died Sunday evening, March 10, 2002, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville after a brief illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Terry E. Ruther officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 5-8 at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, where Masonic services will be held at 7:45.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 222 E. Main St., Loudonville; or to Loudonville Fire Department Inc., 200 N. Market St., Loudonville 44842.
He was born March 3, 1917, in Pickaway County to Harry and Florence (Hott) Huffer and married Lula Brecheisen on Nov. 14, 1942. She survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Sadie Blanton of Circleville, and many nieces and nephews.
Brothers Daniel, Ezra, Clarence, Harvey, Roy and Cleveland Huffer, and a sister, Elizabeth Huffer, died previously.

Danny Sauer
WOOSTER -- Danny K. "Fat" Sauer, 54, 206 E. Bowman St., died Saturday, March 9, 2002, at his home after a lengthy illness.
Services will be today (Wednesday) at 1:30 at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. Dr. Claude L. McComas officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, Rittman, where military rites will be held.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Service Commission of Wayne County, 356 W. North St., Wooster 44691.
He was born Sept. 24, 1947, in Lodi to Clarence H. and Doris M. (Waggaman) Saurer.
Surviving are children, Nathan Samuel Sauer and Adam Seth Sauer both of Elyria, Tonya Rae Campbell of Wellington and Michelle Renee (Doug) Ward of Beloit, Wis..; five grandchildren; his father of Elyria; brothers, Bill Sauer of Wellington and Tom Sauer of Colorado; and sisters, Judy Tribble of Elyria and Ina Miller of Lima.

Ralph Miller Sr.
ELIZABETH, W.Va. -- Ralph V. Miller Sr., 73, of Rural Route 3, died Monday morning, March 11, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at McIntire Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
Friends may call tonight (Wednesday) from 7-9 at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1928, in Calhoun County, W.Va., to Orrville and Sarah (Norman) Miller.
Surviving are children, Ralph Miller Jr. of Wooster, Terry Miller of Shreve, Larry Miller of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Deloris Nelson of Elizabeth, W.Va.; and eight grandchildren.

Mabel Lemon
WOOSTER -- Mabel P. Lemon, 77, 1637 Morgan St., died Monday evening, March 11, 2002, at West View Manor Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Revs. Dale Sanford and William Lofgren officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
The family will receive friends following the services.
Those who wish may make contributions to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born Sept. 8, 1924, in Dalton to Morris and Reva (Scott) Hershey.
Surviving is her husband, Leo M. Lemon, whom she married Dec. 21, 1947.

Otis Crabtree
STARKE, Fla. -- Otis Crabtree, 77, formerly of Starke, Fla., died Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at Lake City Medical Center.
Arrangements are being handled by Veterans Cremation & Burial Society in Clearwater, Fla.
He was born in Wayne, W.Va.
Surviving are children, Bonnie Berg of Rocklin, Calif., and James R. Crabtree of Killeen, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Kelly Simone
DOYLESTOWN -- Kelly Anne Simone, 22, of Doylestown, died Saturday, March 9, 2002, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Services will be tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30 at Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron, with Pastor David Atkinson officiating. The body will be cremated.
Friends may call tonight (Wednesday) from 3-7:30 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Y-Noah through the YMCA; or Pet Guard.
She was born May 25, 1979, in Akron to Ronald S. and Linda Joyce (McCune) Simone.
Surviving are her father, Ronald (Gwen) Simone of Tallmadge; her mother, Linda (Douglas) Everson of Doylestown; brothers, Michael A. Simone of Akron and Jason Adams of Tallmadge; grandparents, Doris Simone of Tallmadge and Cleo and Donna Everson of Doylestown; and great-grandmothers, Berneatha Conrad and Martha Summers.

Thomas Kamenik Jr.
PERRYSVILLE -- Thomas J. Kamenik Jr., 81, 1055 County Road 2256, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at his home.
Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with Father John Mueller officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Loudonville.
Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church Building Fund.
He was born Feb. 23, 1921, in Lorain to Thomas J. and Justine (Chovancak) Kamenik and married Irene Dulla. She died previously.
Surviving are sons, Thomas J. (Leslie) Kamenik III of Perrysville and Kenneth (Jane) Kamenik of Ashland; and 11 grandchildren.

Elnora Wenger
MASSILLON -- Elnora L. Wenger, 76, of Massillon, died Monday, March 11, 2002, at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Massillon, with the Rev. Ronald L. Jefferson officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Home in Massillon, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 325 Third St., SE, Massillon 44646.
She was born Sept. 6, 1925, in Senecaville to Howard and Mabel (Jones) Rush and married William S. Wenger Jr. He died Aug. 3, 1999.
Surviving are children, Rebecca (Robert) Porter of Millersburg, Janet L. Wenger of Canton and Dr. William C. (Faye) Wenger of Auburn; and grandchildren, Christina A. Porter, Robert A. and Douglas W. Porter.

Evelyn Baughman
ASHLAND -- Evelyn W. Baughman, 82, of Cleveland Avenue, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2002, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital, after a short illness.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, with Chaplain Kenny Lindecamp officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland 44805.
She was born Nov. 4, 1919, in Barberton, to Leslie and Bernice (Sheppard) Lisle and married George C. Baughman on Nov. 21, 1936. He died May 28, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Joan) Baughman of Ashland; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Morry DeLapp
SUN CITY, Ariz. -- Morry "Mo" DeLapp, 73, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Dalton, died Friday, March 8, 2002, from cancer.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Ariz.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sun Health Foundation/Hospice Care, P.O. Box 2015, Sun City, Ariz. 85372; or the American Cancer Society.
He was born July 19, 1928, in Hartland Township.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Nancy DeLapp of Sun City, Ariz.; children, Mike (Wanda) DeLapp of Derby, Kan., Patrick DeLapp of Glendale, Ariz., Kathleen (Ben) Boyd of Prescott, Ariz., and Rose Quinn of Dalton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Ira DeLapp of Wakeman and Harry DeLapp of Sandusky.
