BEAVER DAM, Ky. -- Wilma Butler, 84, of Beaver Dam, Ky., died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 at Ohio County Hospital at Hartford, Ky.
Services will be Sunday at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Ky. Burial will be at Green River Cemetery in Cromwell, Ky.
Friends may call today (Saturday) from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Sunday from 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
She was born in Cromwell, Ky.
She retired from the Wooster Brush Co. in Wooster and was a member of Green River Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Clifford Butler and four nieces.
Jessica Fagan
ASHLAND -- Jessica M. Fagan, 23, 765 Township Road 1904, died Thursday, January 9, 2003, in an automobile accident in Cambridge.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with the Rev. Skip Snell officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
Friends may call two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.

She was born December 2, 1979 in Ashland to James Fagan Jr. and Judy (Faciana) Cable.
She attended Black River Schools, Medina Joint Vocational School and graduated from Hillsdale High School.
She attended Albion St. Johns and Mohicanville Community Church, where she enjoyed volunteering her time. She enjoyed crocheting, woodworking, painting, gardening and spending time with her family and the Lord.
Surviving in addition to her father of Whiteville, North Carolina and her mother of Ashland, are brothers and sisters, Joshua and Jeremy Fagan, Joseph, David, Dale and Deana Cable; maternal grandparents, Phil Faciana of Cambridge and Sally Faciana of Berea; paternal grandparents, Ann (George) Miller of Homerville and James Fagan Sr. of Cleveland and great-grandmother, Grace Kohler of Berea.
Preceding her in death are a brother, Jonathon Cable who died July 13, 2002, great-grandparents, Salomino and Rose Faciana, Frank Kohler, John and Violet Denzien, Virginia Wheeler and James Fagan.
Carolyn Johnson
WYTHEVILLE, Va. -- Carolyn Jean Johnson, 54, 1832 Huddle Road, Wytheville, Va. 24382, formerly of Wooster, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at North Carolina Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Services were held Sunday, Jan. 5, in the Chapel at Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, Va. Burial was at West End Cemetery, Wytheville, Va.
She was the former owner/operator of Nu Beautique in Wooster, where she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband, Ronald E. "Ronnie" Johnson; children, Rondha J. (Brandon) Kitts of Crockett, Va., Arlie F. Johnson and Jay Johnson, both of Wytheville, Va.; her parents, Howard and Frances (Dodson) Russ Jr. of Wytheville, Va., formerly of Wooster; her mother and father in-law, John R. and Arlene Johnson of Burbank; and several relatives in the Wayne County area.
James Mullett
RITTMAN -- James Lee Mullett, 69, of Rittman, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown with the Rev. James Haynes officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, where military graveside honors will be conducted.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born Dec. 27, 1933 in Norton to Lee and Angela (Centea) Mullett.
He was a 1950 graduate of Norton High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was employed by Babcock & Wilcox in Barberton, retiring after 46 years of service.
He was a member of Wadsworth Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1089 and the Doylestown American Legion, Post 407. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and collecting tools.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Pauline Mullett of Rittman; stepdaughters and their spouses, Dianna and Gary Teeter of Sarasota, Fla., Penny and Kenny Fisher of North Canton, Lee Ann Dague of Canton, Cathy and Art Johnson of Norton; stepsons and their spouses, Nelson and Renee Collins of Seville, David and Dorothy Collins of Tallmadge; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rita Clemons of Washington and a nephew.
A stepdaughter, Tammy Collins, died previously.
Ann Wenger
ORRVILLE -- Ann F. Wenger, 85, 1851 Paradise Road, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Walter Jordan officiating. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
There will be no calling.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
She was born on June 22, 1917 in Honaker, Va. to Eugene and Lucille (Howard) Audet and married Carl D. Wenger on October 23, 1937. He died on May 23, 1974.
She worked in the production department at the Will-Burt Company in Orrville for many years, retiring in 1981.
She had attended the Lutheran Church and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are six grandchildren, Meredith (Michael) Young of Wooster, Melanie (Tom) Ballinger of Fort Riley, Kan., Matthew Moser of Columbus, and Bobby, Kevin and Christopher Wenger, all of Orrville, seven great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Irene Miller of Wooster, Pauline (John) Siemens of Redding, Calif. and Janet (Bill) Burkholder of Orrville.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Ann Moser in 1983, a son, Robert L. Wenger in 2002, and two sisters, Mary Kurtz and Jean Summers.
Albert Yackley
ROCKINGHAM, N.C. -- Albert E. Yackley, 73, of Rockingham, N.C., died Friday, January 10, 2003, at home.
He was born in Madelia, Minn. on March 23, 1929.
He graduated from Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn, Ill. in 1947. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He married Theresa D'Ambrosio in 1954.
He retired from Owens-Illinois after 30 years in 1985.
He served on Millersburg City Council. Recently, as a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. James Catholic Church, Albert participated in numerous charity drives and served that organization as treasurer. He loved helping others with yard work, painting, and handyman services.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa; five sons, Randal (Mary Jo) Yackley of Missouri City, Texas, Thomas (Robin) Yackley of Alpharetta, Ga., David (Tracey) Yackley of Redmond, Wash., Frank Yackley of Charlotte, N.C. and Jeffrey (Melissa) Yackley of Green and a daughter, LouAnn (David) Pope of Dalton, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Yackley of Villa Park, Ill. and two sisters, Mary (Leonard) Forner of Montgomery, Ill. and Lucille Yackley of Lombard, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond and his parents, Frank and Anna Yackley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Richmond County Hospice, P.O. Box 2136, Rockingham, N.C. 28380.
A vigil will be held on Sunday, January 12 at 7 p.m., followed by calling hours at 7:30. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 13 at 7 p.m. Both events will be held at St. James Catholic Church of Hamlet on Highway 74.

LeRoy Bauer Jr.
LOUDONVILLE -- LeRoy Bauer Jr., 46, 228 S. Wood St., died Friday afternoon, Jan. 10, at his home, following a battle with colon cancer.
Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Terry E. Ruther officiating. Burial with military services conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville.

He was born Jan. 4, 1957, in Corona Beach, Calif., to LeRoy and DollyAnna (Alloway) Bauer.
He grew up in California and was a 1975 graduate of Castle Park High School, Chula Vista, Calif. and attended Southwestern Community College. He served in the U.S. Army and moved to Loudonville in 1976.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Loudon Post 257 American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and motorcycle riding and was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Pronghorn Foundation, The Foundation for North American Sheep, The North American Hunting Club,and The Mule Deer Foundation.
He was an A operator for Ashland Chemical Co., Ashland, for 19 years.
Surviving are his wife, Staci Lynn (Schopfer) Bauer, whom he married May 10, 1980; his daughter, Jessica Bauer at home; his son, Jacob Bauer at home; his father and stepmother, LeRoy and Anne Bauer Sr. of Loudonville; his mother and stepfather, DollyAnna and Glenn Shireman of Loudonville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Les and Kim Bauer of Bellville, and Robert Davis of Loudonville; his sister, Dolly Fehling of Loudonville; two stepbrothers and a sister-in-law, Chad and Mandy Larsen of Loudonville, and Mike Mullin of California; many nieces and nephews; and many very close and loving friends.

WEST SALEM -- William R. Dunn, 56, of West Salem, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Medina General Hospital in Medina.

He was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Lodi to Larry and Margaret Jean (Garver) Dunn.
He had been employed by Liberty Excavating in Medina for eight years and also at Grissinger Trucking in Wooster.
He was a member of National Rifle Association and co-founder of Brotherhood of the Ivory Mountain for 25 years.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (Grissinger) Dunn, whom he married Oct. 16, 1965; three sons, Tom Dunn of Wooster, Jimmy Dunn of Akron and Mike (Becky) Dunn of Polk; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; his father of West Salem; a sister, Suzanne (Jim) Nall of Louisville, Ky. and a brother, Ron (LaVonne) Dunn of Wooster.
His mother died in 1995.
Paul Earick
ASHLAND -- Paul J. Earick, 71, 1013 Township Road 1806, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Akron City Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Ashland with Pastor Richard Beal officiating. Burial will be at Twin Cemeteries on State Route 511.

He was born May 8, 1931, in Richland County to Riley and Amanda (Mulberg) Earick.
He was a self-employed farmer, retiring on Feb. 2, 2002.
He was a member and past president of Ashland County Wildlife Conservation League, a member of National Rifle Association, member of the former Ashland County Coon Hunters Club and Hayesville Barnstormers snowmobile club.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Parsons Earick, whom he married Dec. 20, 2001; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Nancy Earick of Ashland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Keith Raudebaugh of Jeromesville and Sally and Doug Strine of Ashland; a stepdaughter, Tina Pollock of Bucyrus; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Kevin and Janet Baird of Ontario; 12 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and two sisters, Hazel Bush of Norwalk and Mabel Hartman of Mansfield.
A sister, Goldie Frederick and two brothers, LeRoy and Robert Earick, died previously.
Mary Kanagy
MILLERSBURG -- Mary Jean Kanagy, 85, of Castle Nursing Home, a 30-year resident of Millersburg and formerly of Beach City, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at the nursing home, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Lantzer Funeral Home in Beach City with the Rev. Cynthia Danals officiating. Burial will be at South Lawn Cemetery in Beach City.

WADSWORTH -- Dorothy A. Rooks, 72, of Wadsworth, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Rittman Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rittman.

She was born March 21, 1930, in War Eagle, W.Va., to Kelly and Dolly (Blankenship) Harrison-Smith and married Frank Rooks on Jan. 18, 1947. He died July 1, 2002.
She had been employed by Packaging Corp. in Rittman, Ohio Blue Tip, Delta Plastic and Admiral Machine in Wadsworth, retiring in 1982. She enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls and crocheting.
Surviving are sons, Roger (Vickie), Ronnie (Paula), Jerry (Carolyn), Ed (Nancy), Mike (Ginger) and Paul (Laurel), all of Wadsworth; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a brother, Bill Smith of Ironton.
Kenneth Campbell
ASHLAND -- Kenneth R. Campbell, 63, of Myers Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at the University Hospital of Cleveland, following an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Heyl Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Jim Black officiating. Burial will be at Nankin Cemetery.

He was born June 11, 1939 in Ashland to Kenneth J. Campbell and Maxine (Laughery) Boles.
He was a resident of Ashland most all of his life where he was employed for Landoll and had also worked many years for Eagle Rubber.
Surviving are his mother, Maxine Boles of Wooster; his stepmother, Jessie Campbell of Ashland; his four sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Devore of Ashland, Judy Wirt of Wooster, Glenna and Harry Hartsel of Ashland and Dora and Ruben Lafferty of Bailey Lakes and many nieces and nephews.
His father, Kenneth J. Campbell, died previously.
