ASHLAND -- Mildred L. Parker, 94, of Ashland, died Monday evening, Sept. 20, 1999, at Kingston of Ashland, after a brief illness.
She was the aunt of Shirley Bauman of Wooster.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Van Hove Funeral Home in Ashland, with the Rev. Ignatius David officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

She was born April 18, 1905 in Cleveland to Alvin E. and Minnie O. (Endinger) Kerschner and married George A. Parker. He died in 1972.
Other survivors include seven nieces, a nephew and two sisters-in-law.
Jayme Henderson
BIG PRAIRIE -- Jayme F. Henderson, 22, 8155 County Road 373, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, from injuries sustained in a auto accident.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ripley Church of Christ, with the Rev. Tom Benter officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the church. Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve, is handling arrangements.

Surviving are his mother of Big Prairie; his father of Shreve; a sister, Jara Lynn Henderson of Big Prairie; and maternal grandfather, Paul Sprang of Big Prairie.
Teresa Beery
RITTMAN -- Teresa E. Beery, 71, of East Sunset Drive, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Akron General Medical Center.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with Father Philip P. Pritt officiating. Burial of the ashes will be at Rittman Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.

She was born Sept. 26, 1927 in Rittman to Joseph and Anna (Viator) Zvada and married Donald Beery. He died in 1981.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Julie) Beard of North Canton and Laurie Keating of Sterling; a grandson, Charles T. Dawson III; a great-grandson, Charles T. Dawson IV; sisters, Amelia Rohrer of Smithville and Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Plahuta of Rittman.
'Doc' Greegor
RITTMAN -- Larry A. "Doc" Greegor, 39, 1 Holly Court, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Akron City Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Rittman, with the Rev. Bret Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 19 W. Ohio Ave., Rittman; or to Rittman High School Band, 100 Saurer St., Rittman 44270.
He was born July 25, 1960 in Wooster to Newton and Bonnie (Davis) Greegor and married Debbie Shipe. She survives.
Other survivors include, a son, Dave, and a daughter, Amy, both of the home; his mother and step-father, Bonnie and Cletus Slicker of Orrville; a brother, Roger Greegor, and a sister, Susan Greegor, both of Orrville.
Carmen Lehman
ALBANY, Ore. -- Carmen (Ebersole) Lehman, 65, 2150 Seven Mile Lane, SE, Albany, Ore. 97321, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, in Albany, Ore.
She was the sister-in-law of Freeman Lehman of Kidron, Vernon Lehman of Dalton, Nathan Lehman of Orrville and Martha Geiser of Wooster.
Services were held this morning (Tuesday) at 11 at Fairview Mennonite Church in Albany, Ore. Burial was at the church cemetery.
She was born in Kokomo, Ind., and in August of 1956, married Louis Lehman. He survives and was formerly of Kidron.
Other survivors include a son, Evan Lehman and his wife, Laurie, of Salem, Ore.
Harvey Swinehart
SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. -- Harvey F. Swinehart, 83, of Sun City Center, Fla., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at South Bay Hospital in Sun City, Fla.
He was the brother and brother-in-law of Marie and Donald Rehm of Wooster.
Burial of the ashes will be at Reedsburg Cemetery at a later date.
He was born Nov. 9, 1915 in Seville to Irvin and Melissa (Berry) Swinehart and married Bessie Benko on March 15, 1946. She died Feb. 15, 1993.
Other survivors include a brother, Irvin Swinehart and his wife, Charlotte of Hemet, Calif.
Rose Dobbins
LODI -- Rose Marie Dobbins, 41, of Lodi, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at Lodi Community Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Rev. Louie Ezell officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born June 21, 1958 in Charleston, W.Va., to Bill and Betty (Silvius) Lewis and married Dennis Dobbins on Nov. 15, 1976. He survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Heather of the home; her mother of Elyria; her father and stepmother, Bill and Sarah Lewis of Ringo, Ga.; a sister, Brenda Hudson and her husband, Larry, of Elyria; and stepbrothers, Dexter, Richard and Ernie Collie, all of Georgia, and Mike Collie of Mississippi.
George Morgan
WESTERVILLE -- George Morgan, 77, of Westerville, formerly of Newark, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Jacob Davis Funeral, 422 S. Main St., Taylor, Pa., where friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Burial will be at Milwaukee Cemetery, Taylor, Pa.
Local arrangements are being handled by Moreland Funeral Home in Westerville.

W. Paul Kauffman
SHREVE -- W. Paul Kauffman, 89, 10650 Centerville Road, County Road 1, died Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, at Wooster Community Hospital.

He was born Jan. 10, 1910 in Ripley Township, Holmes County to Curtis C. "C.C." and Ruth (Sidle) Kauffman and married Mae Ewing on June 27, 1937. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Robert and Jeanette Kauffman of Shreve, Carolyn and John Carmean and Thomas and Cynthia Kauffman, all of Ashland; and seven grandchildren.
'Pop' Parmelee
WADSWORTH -- Dan Paul "Pop" Parmelee, 79, 315 Crestwood Ave., formerly of Wooster, died Monday morning, Sept. 20, 1999, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Mentor Cemetery. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, is handling arrangements.

"Pop" was the much loved husband of Betty (Geesling) Parmelee for 54 years; loving father of daughters, Betty Lynne Bury and her husband, Rick, of Marshallville and Joanne Eber and her husband, Michael, of Bay Village; grandfather of Beth Ann Rock and her husband, Robert; and great-grandfather of Madeline.
Virginia Moone
SPRINGFIELD -- Virginia Ann Moone, 78, of Springfield, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at her residence.
She was the mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and William Lecky of Millersburg.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Jackson Lytle & Ingling Williams Funeral Home, North Limestone Chapel, Springfield, with the Rev. Thomas R. Stout officiating. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Mausoleum.

Frieda Thomas
ORANGE CITY, Fla. -- Frieda May Thomas, 86, of Sweet Gum Drive, formerly of Wooster, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999, at Volusia Medical Center, Fish Memorial Hospital, in Orange City.
Arrangements are being handled by Allen-Summerhill funeral Home in Orange City, Fla.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Paul C. Thomas; a son, Rex. C. Thomas and his wife, Elizabeth C., of Virginia Beach, Fa.; two granddaughters; brothers, Robert Heffelfinger of Deltona, Fla., and Richard Heffelfinger of Columbus; and a sister, Eula Sutliff of Villa Rica, Ga.
Helen Spitler
WOOSTER -- Helen M. Spitler, 76, 4412 Hunters Chase, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at her home.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Holmesville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Randy Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

She was born Oct. 1, 1922 near Sullivan to Orvill and Wanda (Fridline) Swope and married Glenn G. Spitler on July 25, 1942. He died Jan. 28, 1995.
Surviving are children, Gerald Spitler and his wife, Joanne, of Holmesville and Sandra Klingler of Belpre; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Swope of Greenwich; and sisters, Jean Aker of Homerville and Bonnie Masters of Ashland.
In addition to her husband, a sister, Katie Samples, died previously.
Doris Swain
WADSWORTH -- Doris M. Swain, 73, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at Akron General Medical Center, after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with the Rev. Timothy J. Steiner officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Monroe County to Elmer and Elsie (Crouse) Thonen and married Robert Swain. He died in 1979.
Surviving are children, Jim Swain of Westerville and Mrs. Peter (Shirley) Stanoch of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Brian and Kimberly; brothers, Donald, Clifford and Gerald Thonen, all of Rittman; and a sister, Edna Phillips of Columbus.
Woodrow Grossenbacher
SEBRING -- Woodrow W. Grossenbacher, 86, of Copeland Oaks, Sebring, formerly of Seville, died Saturday, Sept. 18, 1999, at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sterling United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Lee Ann Dunlap and Fay A. Botten officiating. The body has been cremated.
