W. Durant Lehman
NAVARRE -- W. Durant Lehman, 83, of Navarre, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Massillon Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Navarre-Bethlehem Historical Society Memorial Fund, c/o Robert Baker, 9100 Blough Ave. S.W., Navarre 44662.
Arrangements are being handled by Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle Funeral Homes in Navarre.
Surviving are his wife, Olive J. (Speicher) Lehman; five sons, Lynn D. and Ernie Lehman, both of Navarre, Harley and Brian Lehman, both of California and Ellis Lehman of North Canton; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Bradley Lehman of Dalton, Vesper Lehman of Florida, Randall Lehman of Wooster and Wellman Lehman of Kentucky and a sister, Ruby Nobles of California.

Marjorie Burkett
BEACH CITY -- Marjorie E. Burkett, 71, of Beach City, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a brief illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster with the Rev. Jeffrey Coggins officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmot.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home or on Wednesday one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Beach City Fire & Rescue Association, Beach City United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Tuscarawas County.
She married Harold W. Burkett on May 28, 1948. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Jane Cunningham of Dennison; two sons, John (Mary) of Beach City and Thomas (Karen) of Navarre; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosalie Young of Dover and three brothers, Edward DeVault and Roy "Bud" DeVault, both of Beach City and Garry DeVault of Strasburg.

Joseph King
CRESTON -- Joseph E. King, 87, of Peake Court, Creston and formerly of Rittman, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Medina General Hospital.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman with the Rev. Paul A. Matte officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville.
Friends may call from tonight (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Surviving are a son, Clifford (Judy) King of Rittman; a step-son, Robert Swinderman of Lodi; a step-daughter, Linda Hasselbach of Mississippi; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Jean) King of Creston; two sisters, Marie Linter of Lodi and Nancy Hemming of Westfield Center and special friends, Kathryn Gabbard of Creston, and Eleanor Hostetler of Wooster.
His wife, Dorothy King, died on September 12, 1992.

Glenn Carlisle
WOOSTER -- Glenn E. Carlisle, 73, 798 Greenwood Blvd., died today (Monday), Sept. 13, 1999, at his home.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at 3 p.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ with the Rev. James W. Christensen officiating. Entombment of ashes will be at Wooster Cemetery mausoleum.
There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Wayne County, Inc., 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691 in his memory.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy "DeeDee" (Allshouse) Carlisle, whom he married June 21, 1947; son, Randall C. Carlisle of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter and son-in-law, Candace Carlisle Anderson and Thomas Anderson of Petersham, Mass., son, William Carlisle of Wooster; two grandchildren, Emily Anderson of Cambridge, Mass. and Barrett Anderson of Petersham, Mass. and a brother, Carshall C. Carlisle Jr. of Clearwater, Fla.

Dr. Richard Kyler
COLUMBUS -- Dr. Richard S. Kyler, 52, of Columbus, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at his home.
Services were held Saturday at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Trenton Road, Columbus 43221.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Kay Kyler; two sons, Benjamin and his wife Paige and Nathaniel; his parents, James and Millicent Kyler of Jeromesville and two brothers, William of New Philadelphia and Robert of Long Island, N.Y.

Carl Tuttle
WOOSTER -- Carl H. Tuttle, 88, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at Horn Nursing Home.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born June 19, 1911 in Holmes County to Harvey and Dora (Crawford) Tuttle and married Opal B. Huffman in 1937. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters and their husbands, Kaye and Roger Johnson of Wooster and Joyce and Dwight Watkins of Pine Bluff, Ark.; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Gabriel Busson
WADSWORTH -- Gabriel Joseph Busson, 5-day-old son of Dennis and Mary Busson of Wadsworth, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999.
Mass of Christian Burial was held today (Friday) at 11 at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Wadsworth, with Father Joe Labak as celebrant. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends who wish may make contributions to the Gabriel Joseph Memorial Fund, in care of 1061 Eastern Road, Wadsworth 44281.
Arrangements were handled by Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown.
Other survivors include brothers, Josh, Blake, Luke and Caleb, and sisters, Cara and Britt; grandparents, Bill and Viola Busson and Art Hammer, all of Doylestown; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

'Terry' Terenziani
RAMSEY, N.Y. -- Enea Frank "Terry" Terenziani, 85, of Ramsey, N.Y., died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Wooster.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, N.J.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Sunrise Assisted Living.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Feb. 4, 1914 in Long Island, N.Y., to Noe and Alice (Zurla) Terenziani and married Ida Mildred Kievit on May 4, 1940. She died Aug. 14, 1995.
Surviving are a daughter, Pat Taibi and her husband, Robert, of Wooster; grandchildren, Kristin Stanford and her husband, David, and Colin Taibi, all of Wooster; a great-granddaughter, Aria Taibi; and a nephew, William Kaye of New Jersey.

Eli Miller
SUGARCREEK -- Eli J.M. Miller, 88, 3791 County Road 114, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at his residence after an extended illness.
Services will be Sunday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Levi J. Yoder officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime at the residence. Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements.
He was born March 22, 1911 in Holmes County to Joseph and Martha (Hershberger) Miller and married Katie Miller on Jan. 15, 1935. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Mrs. Adrian (Amanda) Wengerd of Sugarcreek, Bert E. Miller of Shreve, Roman E. and Jacob E. Miller, both of the home; 24 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Sarah Frazier
RITTMAN -- Sarah J. Frazier, 85, formerly of Salt Street, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at Rittman Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at East Chippewa Cemetery, Orrville, with the Rev. Dr. J.A. Burton officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman.
There are no immediate survivors.
Her husband, Sam Frazier, died previously.

Wilbur Wood
PLACENTIA, Calif. -- Wilbur S. Wood, 97, of Placentia, Calif., formerly of Lodi, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1999, at Terrace View Care Center in Fullerton, Calif.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
Friends may call today (Thursday) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 8:45 p.m.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Wood and his wife, Beverly of Anaheim, Calif.; three granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a sister, Elsie Hexenkemper of Corning; and three nieces and one nephew.
His first wife, Martha Wood, died in 1985, and his second wife, Lucille Mowrey Wood in 1987.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster.

Ivan Troyer
MILLERSBURG -- Ivan Troyer, 67, 5601 Township Road 605, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at his home after a brief illness.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at East Union Mennonite Church near Orrville, with Delmar Falb, Leonard Wenger, Paul Kandel and Walter Beachy officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the church. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
He was born May 9, 1932 in Holmes County to Dan M. and Ella (Gingerich) Troyer and married Katie Ann Wengerd on Aug. 15, 1958. She survives.
Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Delmar and Karen Troyer and Lamar and Janet Troyer, all of Millersburg, Derryl and Linda Troyer of Apple Creek and Kevin and Carolyn Troyer of Dalton; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Evangel (Mabel) Schlabach of Greenwood, Del., and Mrs. Gary (Joyce) Booth of Rittman; and brothers, Verton Troyer of Cove, Ore., Daniel Troyer Jr. of Prescott, Ariz., Loyal Troyer of Ballentine, Mont., and Larry Troyer of Bridgeville, Del.

Clarence Roswell
LOUDONVILLE -- Clarence Roswell, 84, formerly of North Water Street, died Thursday evening, Sept. 2, 1999 at Wade Park Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cleveland, after an extended illness.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Loudonville Cemetery, with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, conducting the services.
Friends may call Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville.
Surviving is a nephew.

Helen Winkler
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Helen Winkler, 85, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1999.
Services were held in Phoenix, Ariz. Messinger Mortuary in Scottsdale, Ariz., handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe, Ariz. 85282.
Surviving are a son, Jon R. Winkler of Tempe, Ariz.; and a sister, Katherine Hile of Wooster.

Beverly Turner
ORRVILLE -- Beverly A. Turner, 58, of Orrville, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at her residence.
Services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 at the Ravenna Chapel of Shorts Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Goebel officiating. Burial was at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Robert W. Turner; sons, Craig Keller of Stow and Cort Keller of New Mexico; four grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Bowen of Cuyahoga Falls and Cheryl Greathouse of Akron; and a brother, Jack Ransom of Stow.

Myrtle Batdorf
WOOSTER -- Myrtle E. Batdorf, 91, of Wooster, died Monday evening, Sept. 6, 1999, at West View Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Wednesday) from 6:30-8 at the funeral home.
Those who wish may make contributions to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Phil (Betty) Aylsworth of Shreve; and grandchildren, Todd Aylsworth and his wife, Melissa, and Diane Aylsworth.
Her husband, Ira Batdorf, died in 1981.
