SAN LEANNA, Texas -- Mary C. Repp, 83, of San Leanna, Texas, formerly of Creston, died Thursday, April 29, 1999. BEACH CITY -- Amanda Schlabach, 87, of Beach City, died Friday evening, June 25, 1999, at her home following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Marty Yutzy residence, 2764 U.S. 62, with the Bishop Reuben Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Yutzy Cemetery in Paint Township, Holmes County.

She was born near Winesburg on Aug. 23, 1911 to Susie Yutzy and had lived in Beach City for the last 14 years.

He was born Aug. 24, 1938 in Elkins, Randolph County, W.Va. to Roy C. and Mae Maude Evans and married Rowena "Jean" Lowe on June 4, 1988 in Wooster. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Donny (Roxanne) Evans of Orrville and Robert (Mary) Evans of Wooster, stepsons, John W. She was born July 11, 1917 in Van Wert to Holley and Kitty (Kear) Hoaglin and married Alfred Williams. He died in 1987.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, George and Kathy Williams of Loudonville and a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and John Scott of Loudonville; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Gene Hoaglin of Van Wert and a sister, Ruth Quillen of Warsaw, Ind.

ORRVILLE -- Levi Joseph "Jay" Smucker, 83, of Brenn-Field Nursing Home in Orrville, died Thursday afternoon, June 24, 1999, at the nursing home after a long period of declining health.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at East Chippewa Church of the Brethren near Smithville, with the Revs. Guy Buch and Delbert Kettering officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, or one hour prior to the services at the church.

He was born Aug. 6, 1915 in Orrville to Simon and Lydia (Wenger) Smucker and married Ferne I. (Good) Chupp in Orrville on Jan. 7, 1972. She survives.
Other survivors are children and their spouses, Joe and Pat Smucker of Sterling, Va., Jim Smucker of Wooster, Larry and Linda Smucker of Smithville, Ken and Judy Smucker of Charlton, Mass., Bruce and Linda Smucker and Barbara and John Steiner, all of Orrville and Nancy and Pat Block of Linden, Tenn.; stepchildren and their spouses, Greg and Janita Chupp of Dalton, Patty and Randy Badish of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Cindy and Mike McNaull of Ashland and Beverly and Chris Emmert of Nampa, Idaho; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; brothers and their spouses, Orin and Blanche Smucker of Goshen, Ind., Francis and Mae Smucker of Orrville and Dale and Virginia Smucker of Westfield Center; and a sister, Martha Anderson and her husband, Andy, of Cuyahoga Falls.
His first wife, Dorothy (Marsh) Smucker, died previously.
