ASHLAND -- George C. Shultz, 88, of Ashland, died Monday, June 21, 1999. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grace Brethren Church, 1144 W. Main St., with Pastors Dan Allen and Norm Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. The family requests contributions be made to Ashland County Cancer Association, 107 E. Main St., Ashland; or Hospice of North Central Ohio Inc., 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland 44805. Surviving are his beloved wife, Dorothy (Kirkbride) Shultz, whom he married May 1, 1935; daughters and their spouses, Patricia and Dwayne Trottman of Roanoake, Va., and Georgia and Charles Miller of Wooster; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

ASHLAND -- Cora Eileen Kaylor, 78, died Monday morning, June 21, 1999, at Kingston of Ashland. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with Pastor Craig Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Jeromesville Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Senior Citizens Center, 615 W. 10th St., Ashland; Ashland County Council on Aging, 240 E. 3rd St., Ashland; or Ashland Chapter, Ohio Parkinson's Foundation, 961 Avalon Drive, Ashland 44805. She was born Feb. 9, 1921 in Ashland to Walter and Eva Mae (Dove) Buckingham and married Paul E. Kaylor. He died March 19, 1996. Survivors include sons and their wives, Edward and Carolyn Kaylor of Loudonville and Richard and Barbara Semple of Marietta; grandchildren, Jeff Semple, Shari Semple Ley, Stacia Semple Neuer, Heather Semple, Garth Semple, Christopher Kaylor and Alison Kaylor; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Miller of Columbus and Barbara Franks of Peoria, Ariz.; and a sister-in-law, Lois Kaylor of Ashland.

WADSWORTH -- Wayne L. Addis, 77, of Wadsworth died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at his residence after a brief illness. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High St., Wadsworth, with Pastor Jacqueline R. McMillen officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hilliard-Cox-Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Alice Milburn
DOYLESTOWN -- Alice M. Milburn, 76, of Doylestown, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 18, 1999, at Barberton Citizens Hospital. There will be no calling hours and family services have taken place. She married Virgil Milburn on Jan. 2, 1943. He survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are son and daughter-in-law, Rodney V. and Carolyn Faye Milburn of Chippewa Township; two grandsons; a brother, Robert C. Oxley of Rittman and a sister, June Carter of Barberton.

M. Owen Baker
PERRYSVILLE -- M. Owen Baker, 78, 759 State Route 97, Perrysville, died Friday, July 18, 1999, at his son's residence, following a long illness. Memorial services will be Sunday, June 27 at 3 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Loudonville with the Rev. Gary Pollock officiating. Private burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. He married Dorothy Wolboldt in August 1943. She died in 1987. Surviving are his children, Warren of England, John of Perrysville, Dana, Michael and Nancy Beck, all of Wooster, Linda Rila of Tippecanoe; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul of Florida and Floyd and Clay, both of Belprey and a sister, Ruth Wells of Sharon.

ASHLAND -- Steven C. Rosenbluh, 44, 1246 First St., Ashland, died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Oak Grove Manor in Mansfield. Services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Ashland County Memorial Park Chapel. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, is handling arrangements. Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother, Jack and Helen Rosenbluh of Mansfield, are his mother and stepfather, Margaret Shirley and Merle Crawford of Ashland; a brother and sister, Kenneth Lloyd Rosenbluh and Mrs. Gary (Kim) Kolp, both of Ashland, and brothers, Michael James Rosenbluh of Shiloh, and Tracy Mann of Greenwich.

Dorothy Steiner
ORRVILLE -- Dorothy A. Steiner, 80, 209 Bell Ave., died Friday, June 18, 1999, at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County, following a short period of declining health. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville with the Rev. Tom Ledford officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, Stark/Wayne Chapter, 4916 Hills and Dales N.W., Canton 44708. Surviving are a son, Howard H. LAKEVILLE -- Richard A. Austin, 77, 14119 State Route 226, died Friday, June 18, 1999, in Wayne County, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Orrville. LOUDONVILLE -- Raymond E. Wagner, 54, 737 W. Main St., died Friday, June 18, 1999, in Wayne County, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Orrville. BELLEVUE -- Sarah Elizabeth Bowers, 73, 315 Woodward St., died Saturday morning, June 19, 1999, at Arbors Nursing Home in Clyde, following a lengthy illness. She was the mother of Mrs. Perry (Patricia) Indorf of Wooster. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 209 Southwest St., Bellevue with the Rev. David R. Wietelmann officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Huron. Friends may call Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Auxter-Groff Funeral Home in Bellevue. The body will lie in state on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. She married Paul Bowers on April 17, 1945. He survives. Margaret L. Nave
LOUDONVILLE -- Margaret L. "Peggy" Nave, 68, 339 N. Jefferson St., died Wednesday evening, June 16, 1999, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, after a short illness. Services will be Sunday at 6 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Gary L. Pollock officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Loudonville United Methodist Church, 124 N. Market St., Loudonville; or to Loudonville Fire Department Emergency Medical Service, 200 N. Market St., Loudonville 44842. She was born Dec. 9, 1930 in Mount Vernon to Frederick H. and Mabel C. (Twinem) Clouse and married Clark Nave on Nov. 14, 1946. He died Jan. 1, 1999. Surviving are children, Michael Nave and his wife, Sonya, of Elizabethton, Tenn., Ruth Ann Allen and Lisa Nickles, both of Loudonville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Ellen Kirkham of Oklahoma.

Marian Reece
SEVILLE -- Marian A. Reece, 88, of Seville, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Evergreen Care Center in Medina. Services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home in Seville, with the Rev. Robert West officiating. Burial will be at Westfield Center. Friends may call Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born in North Olmsted to Clayton and Abby Carpenter and married Emmit Reece. He died in 1972. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Easton and her husband, Marvin, of Seville; a grandson and love of her life, Mitch Easton of Seville; and sisters, Alice Ritzi of Wooster and Ellen Jordan of Westerville.

Raymond Yost
SHREVE -- Raymond E. Yost, 62, 6896 Wharton Road, died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at Smithville-Western Care Center. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Harper Funeral Home in Beallsville, where friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Burial will be at Clarington Cemetery. Local calling hours will be Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. He was born June 7, 1937 in Armstrong Mills to Edward and Elsie (Pittman) Yost and married Norma Polen on Sept. 5, 1970. She survives. Other survivors include brothers, Donald Yost of Rittman and Paul Yost of Dalton; sisters, Mrs. James (Mary Lou) Whitehair of Massillon, Mrs. Buster (Sandra) Kellams of Dalton, Ga., Mrs. William (Carolyn) Brown of Woodsfield, Mrs. Stanley (Shirley) Schafer of Alledonia, Mrs. Loyd (Stella) Goodrich of Bellsville and Mrs. Randy (Glenna) Leek of Quaker City; and several nieces and nephews.

LOUDONVILLE -- Mabel C. Young Deitch, 92, 555 Snyder Drive, died Tuesday evening, June 15, 1999, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, after a brief illness. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Revs. James Bennett and George Shunk officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at the funeral home, where Eastern Star services will be held at 8:30. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ; or to Loudonville Fire Department Emergency Medical Service, 200 N. Market St., Loudonville 44842. She was born March 8, 1907 in Greer to George and Margaret (Ullman) Young and married Harley Young. He died in 1949. She then married William Deitch. He died in 1989. Survivors include daughters and their spouses, Jeanette and Bill Porter and Leona and John Good, all of Loudonville and Linda and Richard Peoples of Indialantic, Fla.; four stepdaughters; six grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Margaret Paul
SHREVE -- Margaret M. Paul, 82, formerly of East South Street, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Horn Nursing Home. Private family graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Bethel, Pa., at a later date. There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, is handling arrangements. She was born Feb. 6, 1917 in Salt Lake City, to Frank and Veronica (Sersen) Zumsteg and married Melvin Dean Paul on Feb. 4, 1941. He died in 1967. Survivors include children, Elizabeth Matheny and her husband, Bill, of Wooster and Dean Paul of Morehaven, Fla.; and a granddaughter, Lara E. Matheny.

WOOSTER -- George A. Kikume, 61, 6003 Ely Road, died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at his home. A service of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. Burial will be at Apple Creek Cemetery. Eddy Lambert
SMITHVILLE -- Eddy J. Lambert, 52, 146 E. Prospect St., died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at his home. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Robert Combs officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. He was born June 25, 1946 in Lorado, W.Va., to Otis and Sarah (Aldridge) Lambert and married Patricia Bellville on Sept. 16, 1981. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Jim Lambert of Rittman, Bryan Lambert of Wooster and Matt Lambert of the home; and a brother, Ted Lambert of Sterling.

Pearl Morrison
WOOSTER -- Pearl Nicholson Morrison, 91, formerly of 1684 Mechanicsburg Road, Lot 65, died Monday, June 14, 1999, at West View Manor Nursing Home. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leroy Adams officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. Those who wish may make contributions to Second Baptist Church, 245 S. Grant St., Wooster 44691. She was born Sept. 23, 1907 in Alabama and married Charles Morrison. He died in 1957. Surviving are five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Sylvia McNeil
WEST SALEM -- Sylvia M. McNeil, 71, of West Salem, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at West View Manor in Wooster. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mohican Church of the Brethren in West Salem, with the Rev. Paul Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be at Fair Haven Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, or one hour prior to the services at the church. She was born Nov. 4, 1927 in Barberton to Carl and Marie (Warner) Breitenstine and married Paul McNeil in 1947. He died Jan. 20, 1999. Survivors include children and their spouses, Pamela J. and Earl Newberger of Wooster, Wayde N. and Deborah McNeil of Sullivan and Jerry and Ann McNeil of West Salem; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Breitenstine of Canal Fulton; and a sister, Elfie Salisbury of Kentucky.

Rev. Paul Hackman
MENTOR -- The Rev. Paul W. Hackman, 81, Pastor Emeritus, St. Stephen Parish, West Salem, died Wednesday morning, June 16, 1999, at Altercare Nursing Home in Mentor, after receiving prayerful support and consolation of the Sacraments. Father Hackman had been in failing health for several years due to Alzheimer's Disease. Survivors include brothers, Robert H. and David J. Hackman; a sister, Martha I. Hackman; and several nieces and nephews. The wake will take place today (Thursday) from 4-8 at Schulte-Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst (between Richmond and Brainard roads). Reception of the body will take place Friday at 3 p.m. at St. Ann Church, 2175 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights, when the Vespers will be sung. The wake will continue until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Ann Church, Cleveland Heights, with Bishop Anthony M. Pilla serving as principal celebrant and Father James A. Conry as homilist. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society; or the Society for The Propagation of the Faith.

William Harle Sr.
WEST SALEM -- William W. Harle Sr., 70, of West Salem, died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 1999, after a lengthy illness with cancer. Memorial services will be Friday, June 25, at 1 p.m. at Savannah Bethel Baptist Church, Savannah. William requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Rev. Harvey and Jewell Ache Scholarship Fund at Taylor University, Fort Wayne Campus, in care of Sherri Harter, 1025 W. Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne, Ind. 46807. Arrangements were handled by Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel. William was the husband of Kathryn (Hyde) Harle. She survives. Fred Kreh, of Newark; and brothers, Charles Harle and his wife, Jean, of Brooklyn and the Rev. Robert Harle and his wife, Arlene, of Jackson, Mich.; and a brother-in-law, Eldon Kreh of Aurora, Colo.

Edna Yoder
SUGARCREEK -- Edna Yoder, 81, 1324 Cherry Ridge Drive, died Monday, June 14, 1999, at Union Hospital, after a brief illness. Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the John H. Mullet Jr. residence, with Bishop Dwight A. Miller officiating. Burial will be at Eli Miller Cemetery, Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements. She was born April 15, 1918 in Holmes County to Dan and Barbara (Miller) Yoder and married Eli A. Garber. He died March 28, 1974. She then married David H. Yoder on May 29, 1979. He survives. Other survivors include children, Mrs. Willis (Mary) Kauffman of Arthur, Ill., and Mrs. Johnny (Martha) Mullet of the home; stepsons, Willis D. Yoder of Sugarcreek, Roy D. Yoder of Fredericksburg, David D. Yoder of Canton and Floyd D. Yoder of Killbuck; 11 grandchildren; 34 step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mrs. Noah (Ida) Yoder of Atmore, Ala., Mrs. Amos (Mary) Diener of Nappanee, Ind., and Martha Frey of Sugarcreek.

Levi Erb
BALTIC -- Levi S. Erb, 71, 3495 Township Road 177, died Monday, June 14, 1999, at his residence of complications from a stroke. Services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Erb residence, with Bishop Noah N.L.Yoder officiating. Burial will be at the Yoder Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements. He was born Sept. 1, 1927 in Holmes County to Samuel M. and Sarah H. (Miller) Erb and married Sarah R. Yoder on Nov. 17, 1949. She died March 6, 1991. On Sept. 3, 1992, he married Amanda Miller. She survives. Other survivors include children and their spouses, Henry L. and Esther Erb, Ivan L. and Lizzie Erb, Soloma and Bill H. Yoder and Betty and Roy N. Miller, all of Baltic, Jonas L. and Alice Erb of the home, John L. and Alma Erb of Sugarcreek, Alma and Dave Graber and Verna and Andy N. Raber, all of Millersburg, and Ella and Andy H. Mast of Dundee; 51 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Atlee S. Erb of Millersburg.

Marvalene Faith
LAKEWOOD, N.J. -- Marvalene (Wright) Faith, 83, of Lakewood, N.J., formerly of Wooster, died Friday, June 12, 1999, after a long illness. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Wooster. Burial of the cremains will be at Wooster Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home in Lakehurst, N.J. She was born Jan. 21, 1916 in Akron to Frank and Faye (Palmer) Wright and married Louis A. Faith of Wooster. He died in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Lichteberger-Rath and her husband, Dr. Donald W. Rath of Manasquan, N.J.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

LODI -- Dewey A. Triplett, 100, of Lodi, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster, where he was a resident for 3 1/2 years. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Rev. George Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include children and their spouses, Charlotte and Don Benson of Norwalk, Vera and David Rathbone of Congress, Jack and Carlene Triplett of Vero Beach, Fla., and Gerald and Mary Triplett of Summersville, W.Va. His wife, Fannie Triplett, died previously.

Janet Sayre
DOYLESTOWN -- Janet "Jane" Sayre, 72, of Doylestown, died Sunday, June 13, 1999. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, with the Rev. Dr. David Tennant officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 6-9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333; or to Doylestown United Methodist Church, 153 Church St., Doylestown 44230. She was born in Canton and married William Sayre. He survives. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, David and Linda Sayre and Mark and Kris Sayre, all of Doylestown; a daughter-in-law, Felicia Sayre of Doylestown; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Nofsinger and Hilda Leggett, both of Canton; and brothers, Vernon Pete Reiter Jr. of Louisville and Donald Reiter of Massillon.

Vera Bair
WILMOT -- Vera R. Bair, 84, of Wilmot, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Brewster Parke Nursing Home, after a six-month illness. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster, with the Rev. Ray Peters officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmot. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, where Eastern Star services will be held at 5:45 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Wilmot United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 98, Wilmot 44689. She was born July 18, 1914 in Old Town Valley, Tuscarawas County, to Roy and Alta (Horrisberger) Schwartz and married Hubert E. Bair on July 2, 1940. He survives. Other survivors include children, Mrs. Thomas (Judith) Bank of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Mrs. John (Virginia) Spidle of Wilmot and H. Gary Bair of Alliance; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Alexander of Dundee.

Mary Bidinger
DOYLESTOWN -- Mary E. Bidinger, 87, of Doylestown, died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Barberton Citizens Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown. Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown 44230. Survivors include brothers, Joseph Bidinger of Barberton and Charles Bidinger of Akron; a sister, Helen Shondel of Doylestown; and nieces and nephews.

David Blatter
WADSWORTH -- David E. Blatter, 74, of Wadsworth died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ in Wadsworth, with Howard Hill officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, or one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 215 High St., Wadsworth 44281; or to American Lung Association, 1300 Christmas Seal Drive, NW, Canton 44709. He was born April 12, 1925 in Rittman to James and Emma (Walters) Blatter and was married to Pauline (Bachman) Blatter. She survives. Other survivors include children and their spouses, Richard and Patricia Blatter of Wadsworth, Daniel and Deborah Blatter of Overland Park, Kan., and Cheryl and Terry Robb of Oak Harbor; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Eula Blatter of Rittman.

'Tommy' Sheneman
MILLERSBURG -- Thomas "Tommy" Sheneman, 41, of Millersburg, died Sunday morning, June 13, 1999, at Morning View Care Center in Fulton, after an extended illness. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Killbuck Cemetery, with the Rev. Eli M. Miller officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Survivors include his parents; sisters, Donna Estes of Good Spring, Tenn., Linda Abernathy of Pulaski, Tenn., and Janet G. Miller of Millersburg; brothers, Robert D. Brown of Randolph and David Teeling of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth Pringle
WOOSTER -- Elizabeth Romaine Pringle, 70, died Saturday evening, June 12, 1999, at Glendora Health Care Center, where she had resided for the past 17 years. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. Leroy Adams officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Miller of Akron; nine nieces and eight nephews; 24 great-nieces and nephews; two great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
