Paul Stockert
CANAL FULTON -- Paul R. Stockert, 62, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday evening, June 12, 1999, at his home following a four-year illness. His wife, Carolyn (Kuchenbecker) Stockert, with whom he would have celebrated 37 years of love on June 22, survives him. He also leaves a son, James, daughter-in-law, Mary, and two grandchildren, Helen "Ellie" and Grace, who live on the family farm in Canal Fulton. A daughter, Tamala (Mark) Schreiber, and grandchildren, Michael, Teila, Shaun and Crystal, of Conneaut. He is also survived by brothers, John (Joanne) Stockert of Tularosa, N.M., William (Susana) Stockert of Pittsburgh, and Larry (Fran) Stockert of Centerville; and sisters, Lois (Tom) Tollefsen of Burke Center, Va., and Helen (Jack) Kuchenbrod of Granada Hills, Calif.; and sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bob) Kiefer of Medina and Elizabeth (Dave) Snyder of Ashland. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Canal Fulton. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home in Canal Fulton, or one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church; or Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Canton area. Donations of blood to help replenish the many units Paul received during his illness would be appreciated by his family and the Red Cross.

Carl Ludwig
LOUDONVILLE -- Carl R. Ludwig, 60, of Loudonville, died Friday afternoon, June 11, 1999, in the emergency room at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, after a short illness. Services will be held at Andrews Mortuary in Wilmington, N.C. Burial will be at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, N.C. Arrangements are being handled by Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville. Survivors include sons and their wives, Joseph and Michele Ludwig of Raleigh, N.C., and William and Tracy Balogh of Saginaw, Mich., and a daughter, Judy Hornsby of Jacksonville, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters.

Martha Van Camp
LOUDONVILLE -- Martha Van Camp, 90, 2836 State Route 60, died Saturday evening, June 12, 1999, in the emergency room at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Private graveside services will be Wednesday at Loudonville Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Remington officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Loudonville Fire Department Emergency Medical Service Inc.; or to Green-Perrysville Fire Department Emergency Medical Service. She was born Oct. 15, 1908 in Lewisburg to Benjamin and Lora (Bittle) Bernheisel and married O.J. Van Camp. He died in 1974. Surviving are children and their spouses, Robert and Margaret Van Camp and Helen and Earl Long, all of Loudonville, and Michael and Mary Van Camp of Palm Desert, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

'Red' McMillan
LOUDONVILLE -- C.T. "Red" McMillan, 76, died on Saturday morning, June 12, 1999, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville, after a long illness. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Pioneer Cemetery, Lake Township, Ashland County, with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:30-1:15 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville. Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Price and her husband, Robert, of Perrysville; and two grandsons.

Marion Eby
JONESBORO, Ga. -- Marion C. Eby, 76, of Jonesboro, Ga., formerly of Orrville, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999. Services were held Thursday, June 10, at Jonesboro United Methodist Church. The body has been cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to Jonesboro United Methodist Church, 142 Main St., Jonesboro, Ga. 30236. He was born March 22, 1923 in Sugarcreek Township, Wayne County, to Warren and Effie (Bixler) Eby and married E. Sherrill Timblin on Jan. 24, 1959. She survives. Other survivors include children, Timothy Eby of Texas and Jon Eby of Wooster; and four grandchildren. A sister, Mildred, died previously.

Ruth Steiner
ORRVILLE -- Ruth A. Steiner, 78, of 6689 Wadsworth Road, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at The Cleveland Clinic, following a sudden illness. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Randall L. Gehres officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691. She married Don Bilderback in April of 1950 in Angola, Ind. He died in 1965. She married Larry Steiner in Las Vegas, Nev. on Feb. 16, 1967. He survives. Surviving in addition to her second husband are two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Linda Bilderback and Terry and Mary Bilderback, all of Dalton, a stepson and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cathy Steiner of Massillon, two stepdaughters, Tina Hjelmquist of Virginia and Mrs. Jim (Lori) Wilson of Massillon; nine grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carroll Myers of North Lawrence, and three sisters, Mrs. James (Ethel) Eagleson of Atwater, Betty Kinsey of Calcutta, and Helen McFarren of Dalton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Walter Wheeler
MARIETTA -- Walter A. Wheeler, 72, of Marietta and formerly of Wooster, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Indian River Hospital in Kingsport, Tenn., after a long illness. Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at McClure and Schafer Funeral Home in Marietta. Burial will be at Sandhill-Yankeeburg Cemetery in Reno. Friends may call Monday after 1 p.m. at the funeral home. He married Carolyn J. Evans on March 15, 1980 in Hollywood, Fla. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Chester and Bev Wheeler of Spring Hill, Fla., Tom and Patty Wheeler-Steed of Pontiac, Mich., Sheila Wheeler-Hunter of Marietta and Brandy Wheeler of Tennessee; stepchildren, Juanita Evans and Robert Pinnicks, of Wooster, Linda McPerson, Debbie Evans, Kenneth Evans, all of McArthur, Marlene of Michigan; many grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther and Lee Carter of Senecaville, Sarah and John Pinnicks of Wooster, with whom he stayed when in Wooster, and Jessi McFann of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Pat Wheeler of Millersburg and many nieces and nephews.

Mark Fogg
WOOSTER -- Mark W. Fogg, 55, 364 S. Jefferson Road, died early Saturday morning, June 12, 1999, at his home. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan DeHass officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Pioneer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne County Chapter of Ohio Horseman's Council, 9469 Steiner Road, Rittman, 44270. He married Helen McVey on Sept. 18, 1960. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Fogg and Gary Bickel of Wooster; his mother, Oleva Fogg Eakle of Parkersburg, W.Va. and a brother, John Fogg of Anmore, W.Va.

Harry Burton
LODI -- Harry E. Burton, 81, formerly of Lodi, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Ridgewood Place in Akron. Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Norman Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Seville Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. He married Doris Cunningham in 1942. She died Nov. 22, 1998. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Walter Kuzak of Barberton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Erma Miller
SUGARCREEK -- Erma V. Miller, 78, 668 Hickory Drive, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Union Hospital in Dover, after a brief illness. Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Light in the Valley Chapel in Walnut Creek with Bishop Menno N. Miller officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Friends may call today (Sunday) from 4-8 p.m. and Monday from 1-8 p.m. at Maranatha Church in Sugarcreek. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. She married Henry A. Miller. He died Nov. 17, 1991. Surviving are three daughters, Betz Miller of the home, Esta Miller and Mary Miller, both of Sarasota, Fla.; a son Ervin (Ruth) Miller of Titusville, Pa.; eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Homer (Ida) Mullet of Dundee.

Fannie Raber
MILLERSBURG -- Fannie Raber, 58, of 3780 Township Road 369, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at her residence, after a long illness. Services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the Raber residence, with the Bishop John B. Yoder officiating. Burial will follow in Yoder Cemetery in Berlin Township, Holmes County. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. on Saturday at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. She was born April 30, 1941 in Holmes County to Atlee and Ada (Miller) Schlabach and married Melvin M. Raber on Dec. 20, 1962. He survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Scott (Arlene) Somers of Berlin, Mrs. Roy (Karen) Miller of Baltic, Mrs. Jonas (Ruth) Miller of Charm, and two sons Marion (Ada) Raber of Charm and Marlin Raber of the home; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John (Dorothy) Troyer of Millersburg and two brothers, Roy (Marilyn) Schlabach and Ervin (Lois) Schlabach, both of Millersburg.

Hughel Johnson
FREDERICKSBURG -- Hughel Lee Johnson, 68, of 7681 Hoy Road, died Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Burial will be in Reedsburg Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born on Oct. 31, 1930 in Breeman, Ky. to James Melvin and Myrtle (Higgs) Johnson and married Carolyn Boreman on Aug. 8, 1967. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Stephen and Robin Easterday of Wooster and a daughter, Alicia Johnson; two stepgrandchildren; brothers, James Johnson, Bob Johnson, and Carroll Johnson, all of Wooster; and sisters, Christine Miles of Newcomerstown and Mrs. Aubrey (Joyce) Carathers of Moreland.

Michael Wooddell
ORRVILLE -- Michael E. Wooddell, 40, of 930 N. Ella St., died Friday, June 11, 1999, at the power plant in Orrville. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dave Adkins officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born on June 13, 1958 in Wadsworth to Ernest J. and Frances B. (Vance) Wooddell. Surviving in addition to his mother are his stepfather, Bob Pyers of Wooster; a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Rita Wooddell of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and David Leonard and Deb and Gary Force, all of Wooster, and nieces and nephews.

Margaret Echelberger
PERRYSVILLE -- Margaret M. Echelberger, 61, 105 Tom Dick and Harry Road, died Wednesday morning, June 9, 1999, in the emergency room at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital, after a two-year illness. Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Green-Perrysville Fire Department, in care of Glenn Atkinson, 162 W. 2nd St., Perrysville 44864. She was born Sept. 22, 1937 in Loudonville to Lloyd Z. and Dorothy E. (Marietta) Rea and married Richard L. Echelberger on Sept. 1, 1957. He survives. Other survivors include daughters, Tami Karcher and her husband, Bruce, of Perrysville and Pam Ziegler of Ashland; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; a brother, Charles Rea and a sister, Anna Heater and her husband, Cecil, all of Baltimore, Md.

Allen Sullivan
APPLE CREEK -- Allen Bruce Sullivan, 51, 314 W. Main St., died Monday afternoon, June 7, 1999, at Akron General Medical Center. Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. William Valentine officiating. Friends may call 11Ú2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home. He was born March 5, 1948 in Akron to Paul and Dorothy (Bragg) Sullivan and married Deborah ÒDebbieÓ (Jacot) Burson. She survives. Other survivors include children, Eric Cox of San Diego, Andrea Briggaman of Akron and Tom and Ross Burson, both of Apple Creek; his mother of Akron; brothers, Kenneth Sullivan of New Jersey, Gary and Dana Sullivan, both of Akron; and a sister, Wendy Sullivan of Akron.

Courtney Ellis
CLARK -- Courtney Nichole Ellis, infant daughter of Randell Ellis and Hillary Bowles, was stillborn Monday, June 7, 1999, at Akron General Hospital in Akron. Graveside services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Shepler Church Cemetery in Coshocton County, with the Rev. Fred Taylor officiating. There will be no calling hours. Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, is handling arrangements. Other survivors include maternal grandmother, Karen Bowles of Clark; paternal grandparents, Kelley and Diane Smith of Centerburg; and maternal great-grandparents, John and Inez Lowe of Millersburg.

Roger Snyder
PERRYSVILLE -- Roger F. Snyder, 79, 2132 County Road 775, died Tuesday, June 8, 1999, at his home. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Wendy Guion officiating. Burial will be at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville. Friends may call today (Wednesday) after 2 at the funeral home, with the family present from 7-9. Memorial contributions may be made to Hayesville United Methodist Church, 22 Mechanic St., Hayesville 44838; or Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department. He was born Jan. 5, 1920 in Hayesville to Daniel and Gladys (McClure) Snyder and married Ethel Baldner on Oct. 24, 1944. She survives. Other survivors include children and their spouses, Dan and Joyce Snyder of Perrysville, Doris and Ron Keiser of Mansfield and Mary Beth and Jerry Maye of Ashland; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Arthur Oare
LEESBURG, Fla. -- Graveside memorial services for Arthur A. Oare, 67, of Leesburg, Fla., formerly of Fredericksburg, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at East Fredericksburg Cemetery, with the Rev. Frank Marlett officiating. He died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998.

William Laurich
WOOSTER -- William F. Laurich, 55, 1012 Ashwood Drive, died Sunday, June 6, 1999, at Wooster Community Hospital. A service of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make contributions to Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cancer Research, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland 44106. He was born Nov. 8, 1943 in Washington, Pa., to William A. and Lottie (Zakulic) Laurich and was married to Carol (Klinko) Laurich for 29 years. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Michael Laurich of Aurora; a sister, Gloria McGivern of Atlasburg, Pa.; and a brother, Marty Laurich of Burgettstown, Pa.
