ORLANDO, Fla. -- Robert W. Culbertson, 80, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Wooster, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, in Orlando.
Services will be held Tuesday at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Fla. 32806. Burial will be in Orlando.
Surviving are his wife and a son, both of Orlando, Fla.; and brothers, Wright and Neill Culbertson, both of Wooster.

WOOSTER -- Waldo F. Landis, 83, 4005 N. Elyria Road, died Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 11, 1999, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Pittsburg, with the Rev. Gayle Landis officiating. Burial will be at New Pittsburg Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 19, 1915 in Wooster to Edward and Clara (Firestone) Landis and married Charlotte Martin on Aug. 24, 1941. She survives.

WOOSTER -- Harry D. Bechtel, 82, 8169 Cleveland Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Douglas Wantz officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

He was born April 26, 1917 in Williamsburg, Pa., to Harvey and May (Cridge) Bechtel and married Betty J. Benchoff on Nov. 23, 1939. She survives.

DALTON -- Edna M. Kandel, 79, of Dalton, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at East Union Mennonite Church, with the Revs. Todd Martin and Leonard Wenger officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

She was born May 18, 1920 in Holmes County to Joe and Mary (Hochstetler) Mast and married Eli W. Kandel on Oct. 22, 1939. He died in 1989.

Donald Bickel
MILLERSBURG -- Donald Alvin Bickel, 72, of Millersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999. He will be missed by family and friends.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Faith Bible Church, with Pastor Mark Rohrer officiating. Burial will be at Sheplar Church Cemetery.

WOOSTER -- Cynthia Boulton, 98, formerly of 927 McKinley St., died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at West View Manor Nursing Home, Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. Claude L. McComas officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Shreve.

She was born March 28, 1901 in Gilstrap, Ky., to Joseph and Drucilla (Snodgrass) Butler.
Surviving are children Audley White and and his wife, Patricia, of Wooster and Wilma Howell of Millersburg; stepchildren, Leroy Boulton Jr. of Dalton and Mrs. Paul (Ginny) Huff of Wooster; numerous grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great- and step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Wiley Butler of Morgantown, Ky.; and sisters, Mrs. Pete (Lennie) Martinelli and Mrs. James (Ruby) McVicar, both of Wooster.
Her husbands, Henry White and Leroy Boulton, died previously.

WOOSTER -- Esther J. Wolbaugh, 79, 225 Winkler Drive, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 10, 1999, in the critical care unit at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. Gary W. Pettyjohn officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.

MANSFIELD -- Steven L. Kopina, 31, 679 Mansfield-Washington Road, died Saturday afternoon, Aug. 7, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A Funeral Mass was held this morning (Wednesday) at 10:30 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with Father Dan Frazier as celebrant. Burial was at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.

CANTON --ÊFlora Justine Tomlin, 77, 4501 Bishop's Gate Road, NW, formerly of Baltic, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Ned Horsfall officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, is handling arrangements.

She was born Dec. 18, 1921 in Soldier, Ky., to Forrest and Goldie (Wells) Proctor and was married to Homer T. Tomlin for 49 years. He died Oct. 18, 1990.
Surviving are children, Robert Tomlin and his wife, Penny, of Sugarcreek, Mrs. Robert (Gail) Rownd of North Canton and Mrs. Charles (Charlotte) Lyke of Jackson, Miss.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, George Proctor and his wife, Ruby of Canton and Ernest Norris of Kentucky; and sisters, Mrs. Robert (Dixie) McFarlane of Garfield Heights, Mrs. Delbert (Gladys) Sheets of Canton and Mrs. Daniel (Virginia) Ben of Warren.
Gilbert Smith
ORRVILLE -- Gilbert H. Smith, 85, of Brenn-Field Nursing Center, Orrville, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at the nursing center after a long period of declining health.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 13001 Cedar Road, Cleveland Heights. Burial of the cremains will be at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
There will be no calling hours. Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, is handling arrangements.

He was born March 13, 1914 in Cleveland to Frank and Elizabeth (Sharf) Smith and married Viola L. Lutz on Aug.. 14, 1965 in Painesville. She survives.

FREDERICKSBURG -- Joni E. Troyer, 77, of South Apple Creek Road, died Monday morning, Aug. 9, 1999, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg, after an extended illness.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gray Ridge Church, with the Rev. Roland Maust officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born Dec. 31, 1921 in Holmes County to Eli J. and Dalia (Miller) Troyer and married Verna J. Miller on Feb. 25, 1943. She died July 24, 1995.
Surviving are children, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ann) Wessel of Kentucky, Eli Troyer of Killbuck, Paul Troyer of Howard, Jacob Troyer of Florence, Ky., Lee Troyer of Wooster and Junior Troyer of Benton; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Yoder of Apple Creek, Lavina Miller and Mattie Wengerd, both of Winesburg; and a brother, Jacob Troyer of Smithville.
Delmar Harbaugh
MELVINDALE, Mich. -- Delmar L. Harbaugh, 81, of Melvindale, Mich., formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999, in Michigan.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home in Canal Fulton, with Pastor Julie Thoms officiating. Burial will be at Clinton Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be held at 6:45 p.m.
Surviving are a daughter, Glenda McClaran of Wooster; granddaughters, Mrs. David (April) Bresson and Mrs. James (Lucinda) Harper; great-grandchildren, Shawn McClaran, Tara Findley and Joshua Harper; a sister, Betty J. Beaber of Clinton; and nieces.
His wife, Ruth (Rees) Harbaugh, died in 1980.

BEREA -- L. Paul Ginter, 92, of Berea, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Parma General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Private graveside services and burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 33 Seminary St., Berea, with the Rev. Kurt Katzmar officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Baker Funeral Home in Berea.

CRESTON -- Paul F. Green, 72, 147 Garden St., died Monday evening, Aug. 9, 1999, at his home.

He was born May 17, 1927 in Braxton, W.Va., to Frank and Harriet Green and married Carol Ann Baker. She died March 19, 1983.
