FREMONT -- Roy W. Klay, 86, of Fremont, and president emeritus of Terra Community College in Fremont, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Private services were held Saturday, Jan. 9, at Rush Funeral Home, 37234 Mounds St., Sardis. Burial was at Sardis Cemetery. Memorial services will be held in Fremont at a later date. He was born Oct. 21, 1912 in Sardis, Monroe County to Earnest and Lillie (Yoss) Klay and married Mary Maxine Romick. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Mrs. Jerry (Mary) Huddleston of Boca Raton, Fla., Mrs. Harley (Holly) Grim of Cincinnati and Steven M. Klay of Toledo; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Lester Klay of Canton and Waldo Klay of Dayton; and a sister, Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Hogan of Hamilton.

WOOSTER -- Louise A. Mowrer, 83, 4325 Overton Road, Wooster, died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 9, 1999, in the emergency room at Wooster Community Hospital, after an apparent heart attack. Services will be today (Tuesday) at 2:30 at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster, with Pastor James W. Christensen officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. She was born Aug. 28, 1915 in Pike, W.Va., to John and Vina (Morris) Martin and married Harold W. Mowrer on Dec. 27, 1950 in Fort Wayne, Ind. He survives. Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Jill Carmichael of Wooster; grandchildren and their spouses, Rick and Barb Carmichael and Renee and Gary Gwinn; great-grandchildren, Cory, Jessi and Shelby Carmichael; a brother, Pete Martin of Vienna, W.Va.; and a sister, Mrs. Ron (Cora) Matheny of New Metamoras.

WOOSTER -- Irving A. Kundtz, 87, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Horn Nursing Home. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Busch Family Chapel, 4334 Pearl Road, Cleveland. He was the loving father of Irving J. and wife, Linda Kundtz of Wooster; grandfather of Susan Kutz and Brian Kundtz; and great-grandfather of Taelor and Tara Kutz. His beloved wife Ruth M. Kundtz, died previously.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Harriette E. (Krause) Miller, 89, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Orrville, died Sunday, Jan. 3, at Bayfront Medical Center. Memorial services were held Thursday, Jan. 7. ERHART -- Phillip W. Ross, 61, of Erhart, died Saturday, Jan. 9, at Southwest General Health Center, Middleburg Heights. Services were held today (Tuesday), at Bauer Funeral Home in Valley City. ORANGE CITY, Fla. -- Robert J. Gobin, 71, Candle Light Mobile Park, 2000 N. Volusia, Lot C13, Orange City, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 5, in West Palm Beach, Fla. Memorial services will be held in June at North Alliance Church in Burlington, Vt. Surviving are his wife, Alice Gobin of 51 years of Orange City, Fla.; and four children.

LOUDONVILLE -- E. Blanche Brecheisen, 73, formerly of East Burwell Avenue, died Monday morning, Jan. 11, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center in Loudonville, after a long illness. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Gary L. Pollock officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. She was born June 4, 1925 in Red Ash, Va., to Roy C. and Grace (White) Wilson and married Howard G. Brecheisen in 1968. He survives. CANEYVILLE, Ky. -- Violet Daisy Mong, 76, of Caneyville, Ky., formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Jan. 10, at Leitchfield Healthcare Manor. Surviving are her husband, John Mong; children, Rebecca Newson of Morgantown, Ky., Deborah Douglass of Pennsylvania, John Douglass of Washington and Walter Douglass of Bowling Green, Ky.; four step-children; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

WILMOT -- Chester Grant Wolgamott, 82, of Wilmot, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, at his home after a period of declining health.
