Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Brewster, with Lts. Ralph and Diane Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Stanwood Cemetery. Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at the funeral home He was born March 14, 1912 in Marysville to Charles and Nellie (Thomas) Moder and married Edna V. Judd on May 5, 1933. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Betty Knight of Massillon, James of Beach City, William of Brewster and Donald of Wooster; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Moder of Dayton.

OMAHA, Neb. -- Ruth (Pontius) Hadden, 77, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at Hospice House, Omaha, Neb., after a lengthy illness. Surviving are her devoted husband of 55 years, Perry W. Hadden, Lt. Col., U.S. Air Force, retired; sons, Thomas and wife, Joan, of Denver, James and wife, Celia, of Davenport, Iowa, and a daughter, Ann Saunders and husband, Craig, of Grand Junction, Colo.; grandchildren, Kristin, Rex and Mitchell Hadden; a brother, James Pontius and wife, Kathryn, of Niskayuna, N.Y.; and a sister, Martha Shablesky and husband, Peter, of Dayton; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 6, in Omaha, Neb. KILGORE, Texas -- Margaret Ann "Peg" Draper, 80, of Kilgore, Texas, formerly of Perrysville, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 9, 1999, at Roy H. Laird Memorial Hospital in Kilgore. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 7, 1919 in Monroe Township, Richland County, to Earl and Marguerite (Walton) Gladden and married Perry E. Draper on June 17, 1939. He survives. She was the daughter of Howard and Nova (Mead) Pontius, and loving stepmother, Lillian Pontius, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Perry W. DOYLESTOWN -- Robert L. McFadden, 74, of Doylestown, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999. Services have already taken place. He was born March 21, 1924 in Moundsville, W.Va. to Samuel and Minnie (Fisher) McFadden and married Dorothy Donovan on Dec. 20, 1947. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are six stepgrandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas McFadden of Wooster; and sisters, Dolly Eckard of Dover, Leota Knolwton of Steubenville, and Bonnie Graber of Texas.

WOOSTER -- E. Irene Tyrrell, 101, of 2089 Heyl Road, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at Wayne County Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Townsend, Montana, where she had spent part of her remaining years. There will be no local services. She is survived by children and their spouses, James (Martha) Ingersoll Sr. of Clinton, and Diana (Greg) Born of Wadsworth; brothers and their wives, Dan (Marge) Getz of Sharps, Fla., Melvin Getz of Freeport, and Richard (June) Getz of Barberton; grandchildren and their spouses, Deborah Ingersoll, Michael (Debra) Goehler, James (Kelli) Ingersoll Jr., Mark (LeeAnn ) Goehler, Lisa (Robert) Hasenyager, Robin Carpenter, Steve (Mechele) Ingersoll, Amanda Brooks, and Jeremy Brooks; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear and loving companion, Wallace Forte of Manchester.
