James 'Jim' Lehman
ORRVILLE -- James A. "Jim" Lehman, 54, 236 Westwood Ave., died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with Carey Ball officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
He married Jeannine Sprague Zimmerman on Nov. 24, 1979 in Orrville. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Denise Mastin of Hamilton; stepdaughters, Debbie Young of Barberton, Marla O'Brien of Doylestown, Lisa Karlen of Marshallville and Tina Hoefle of Clermont, Fla.; stepsons, Clifford Workman of Marshallville, Dan and Shawn Workman, both of Barberton and Derrick Workman of Manchester; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Diane Callen of Orrville; a nephew and two nieces.

Helen Miller
CANTON -- Helen McFarland Miller, 87, of Canton, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at McKinley Life Care, following an extended illness.
There will be no service or calling hours. At her request, her body will be cremated and the cremains will be buried at Prairie Township Cemetery in Holmesville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhope United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Reed Funeral Home in Canton.
Surviving are a niece and two nephews.

Abe Yoder
SUGARCREEK -- Abe A. Yoder, 91, 2273 Township Road 406, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at the residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Yoder residence with Bishop Eli A. Hershberger officiating. Burial will be at Wayne Yoder Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the residence.
Arrangements are being handled by Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
He married Verba A. Yoder in 1929. She died Dec. 28, 1992.
Surviving are three sons, Abe A. (Alma) Yoder Jr. of the home, Alvin A. (Mary) Yoder of Wroxiter, Ontario, Canada, and Noah A. (Dorothy) Yoder of Sarasota, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Abe (Barbara A.) Troyer of Sherrodsville, Mrs. Sam (Mary) Schlabach of Millersburg, Mrs. Ivan (Erma) Schlabach of Sarasota, Fla. and Mrs. Sam (Martha) Yoakam of New Philadelphia; 43 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Noah A. Yoder of Atmore, Ala., and Roman A. Yoder of Sugarcreek and two sisters, Katie Ann Yoder of Orrville and Mrs. Roman (Amanda) Mullet of Sugarcreek.

Atlee Miller
MILLERSBURG -- Atlee E. Miller, 81, 6045 Township Road 419, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at his residence, after a one year illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Noah H. Miller residence at 6009 Township Road 419, Millersburg with Bishop Ben Raber officiating. Burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Walnut Creek Township, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime after noon today (Sunday) at the residence.
Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
He married Alma Kurtz on Nov. 24, 1938. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Atlee M. (Ella) Raber of Millersburg; a son, David (Ruth) Miller of Millersburg; 14 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jacob E. Miller of Millersburg and two sisters, Ada Miller of Dundee and Mrs. Roman (Anna) Mast of Fredericksburg.

Esther Limbacher
FRESNO -- Esther Limbacher, 88, 55601 Township Road 87, died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, at Walnut Hills Nursing Home, where she had resided since June 1998.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Renner's St. Paul United Church of Christ with the Rev. W. Eric Walch officiating. Burial will be at Halifax Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Halifax Cemetery Fund, c/o Adrian Garber, 31595 Township Road 89, Fresno or Renner's United Church of Christ, c/o Linda Gibbs, 24273 County Road 93 Fresno.
Surviving are three sons, Ronald (Geraldine) Limbacher of Boone, N.C., Dean (Elaine) Limbacher of West Lafayette and David (Cookie) Limbacher of Fresno; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Shirley) Smith and Mrs. Chester (Janice) Green, both of Fresno; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Katie Iberg of Walnut Hills Nursing Home and Mrs. Earl (Alta) Stein of Fresno.

Robert Bennett
MILLERSBURG -- Robert F. Bennett, 58, of Millersburg, died Friday evening, Feb. 19, 1999. Memorial services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Dale Duncan officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Surviving are children, Victoria Hynes of Newark and Brett Bennett of Smithfield, N.C.; four grandchildren; sisters, Carol Koenig of Millersburg and Pauline Wilson of Pickerington; and brothers, Karry Bennett of Whites Landing and William Bennett of Hugo, Colo.

Beulah Mast
MILLERSBURG -- Beulah Mast, 94, 6960 County Road 189, died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 21, 1999, at her home. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Martins Creek Mennonite Church, with the Rev. Carl Wiebe officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Church College Scholarship Fund, in care of a Mennonite church of your choice. She was born Nov. 5, 1904 in Louisville to John and Lydia Miller and married Paul Mast on Jan. 16, 1930. He died March 13, 1989. Surviving are children and their spouses, Carolyn and Harold Schultz of Kansas City, Mo., Julia and Colin Mishler of Berlin and Ellis and Ann Mast of Goshen, Ind.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Virgil Miller, and a sister, Blanche Miller, both of Louisville.

Noah Raber
SARASOTA, Fla. -- Noah J. "Honegger" Raber, 80, 910 S. Allendale Ave., died Saturday morning, Feb. 20, 1999, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Berlin Mennonite Church, with the Revs. Ernie Hershberger and Levi Sommers officiating. Burial will be at Gray Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the church, or one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg. He was born July 23, 1918 in Millersburg to John and Susan (Miller) Raber and married Elva Miller on Nov. 27, 1947. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Mrs. Bill (Nancy) Galbicsek of New London, Conn., and Mrs. John (Karen) Erb of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren and their spouses, Tiffany (Erb) and Danny Gonzalez and John and Stephannie Erb, all of Sarasota, Fla., Christopher Ray of Los Angeles, John Alan Ray, Donna Galbicsek and Billy Galbicsek, all of New London, Conn.; great-grandchildren, Damien Gonzalez and Glynis Erb, both of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Malinda Raber of Millersburg; a half-sister, Lizzie Miller and a stepsister, Ada Miller, both of Sugarcreek; brothers, Chris Raber of Plain City and Atlee Raber of Nappanee, Ind.; and half-brothers, Eli Raber of Berlin and Abe Raber of Killbuck.

Sonja Armstrong
BIG PRAIRIE -- Sonja M. Armstrong, 56, 13307 Township Road 511, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Johnston-Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve, with the Revs. Randy Weaver and Willard Hershberger officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions be made to Holmes County Home Auxiliary, 7260 State Route 83, Holmesville 44633. Surviving are daughters, Gina Duncan of Lakeville and Deanna Black and husband, Jeremy, of Big Prairie; three grandchildren; her mother of Holmesville; a sister, Janet Baker and husband, John, of Big Prairie; a brother, Raymond Armstrong and wife, Patty, of Shreve; and long-time companion, David Haven, with whom she had made her home.

Ruth Peteri
WOOSTER -- Ruth L. Peteri, 76, formerly of 3798 Blachleyville Road, died Sunday morning, Feb. 21, 1999, at Smithville Western Care Center. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Mike Terwilliger officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make contributions to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster; or to American Cancer Society, Wayne County Branch, in care of Wooster Clinic, 1740 Cleveland Road, Wooster 44691. She was born July 26, 1922 in Barberton to William and Adail (Motmiller) Sickels and married William Edward Terwilliger. He died in 1952. She then married Leonard Peteri. He died in 1993. Surviving are children and their spouses, W. Thomas and Jan Terwilliger and Patricia and Ronald Badger, all of Wooster; stepdaughters and their spouses, Joan and Frank Domanski of Barberton and Becki and John Yungen of Orrville; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Sickels of Barberton; a stepbrother, Bill Bosch and stepsisters, Midge McGrath and Doris Oakes, all of Barberton.

Jean Miller
WOOSTER -- Jean Johnson Miller, 87, 631 Cobblestone Court, died Sunday morning, Feb. 21, 1999, at Wooster Community Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with L.R. Jarka officiating. Burial will be at Apple Creek Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 9, 1912 in Creston to Solon and Jessie (Grundy) Grunder and married Ross Johnson. He died in 1980. She then married Earl W. Miller. He died in 1998. Surviving are a brother, Kermit Grunder of Wooster; and nieces and nephews.

Gladys Redmond
WOOSTER -- Gladys M. Redmond, 92, formerly of 311 E. South St., died Saturday afternoon, Feb. 20, at Wooster Community Hospital. Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Dr. Alan Nathan officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Those who wish may make contributions to Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster 44691. She was born July 20, 1906 in Medina County to Isaac and Ida I. (Marks) Fetter and married Fred Redmond. He died in 1956. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Harry Lutz
WOOSTER -- Harry C. Lutz, 76, 1683 Gasche St., died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Cleveland Clinic. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, with the Rev. James Bean officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Creston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1111, Creston 44217; or to a charity of the donor's choice. He was born March 25, 1922 in Bucyrus to Clayton and Martha (Leimenstoll) Lutz and married Martha L. Graef on Nov. 6, 1948. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Kenneth Lutz and wife, Charlotte, of Trinidad, Colo., Susan Lutz of Bluffton and Shirley Anshutz and husband, Edward, of Creston; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Lutz of Sidney; sisters, Gertrude Rossman and Kathryn Bowman and husband, Lawrence, all of Bucyrus and Marcile Young and husband, Franklin, of Bloomville; and nieces and nephews.

Lewis Morris
LAKEVILLE -- Lewis E. "Jack" Morris, 63, 136 Township Road 2350, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, at his residence. Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with the Rev. Don Young officiating. Burial will be at Jeromesville Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be mace to Hospice of North Central Ohio Inc., 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland 44805. He was born May 23, 1935 in Ashland County to Edward A. and Mary (Bradfield) Morris and married Kathryn Funk on Dec. 30, 1965. She survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Lewis E. Morris Jr. of Wooster, Jack Morris of the home, James Owens of Tennessee, and Kristina Shoudt and husband, Scott, of Loudonville; a granddaughter; a brother, James Morris; and sisters, Elizabeth Morris, Doris Roller and Jane Buchanan.

Donald Spires
HOLMESVILLE -- Donald K. Spires, 76, formerly of Holmesville and Wooster, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg. Private burial was held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, handled arrangements. Surviving are stepchildren, Curt Sheely of Wooster and Robert Sheely of Williamsburg, Va.; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Spires of Hendersonville, N.C.; and sisters, Lucille Freshcorn of Marion, N.C., and June Rathburn of Sarasota, Fla.
