Edward Rodeheaver
Edward A. Rodeheaver, 1099 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky, died at Wyandot Memorial Hospital at 11:37 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at the age of 80.
The son of Cecil and Loretta (Freiberger) Rode-heaver, he was born in Upper Sandusky on Jan. 10, 1924. He married Paula Wooten on Nov. 18, 1950, in First Methodist Church, Auburn, Ind. She survives.
Also surviving are a niece he and his wife raised, Andrea Annestedt Culley of Upper Sandusky, and her and her husband’s three children, Jessica Ault, Nichole Terres and Matthew Culley; and nine other nieces and nephews and their children.
Mr. Rodeheaver was a tool and die maker for the former Sheldrick Manufacturer in Upper Sandusky. He helped establish the Midwest Tool Co., Upper Sandusky, and later worked for the Garwood Industries in Findlay.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps with the 506 Bomber Group flying B29 bombers. Dur-ing World War II, he was stationed on Tini-an Island in the South Pacific.
Mr. Rodeheaver was a life member of BPOE No. 83, and enjoyed flying his Beach Bonanza airplane. He also enjoyed wood and metal working, especially working with oak, kitchen and bathroom remodeling and making cupboards, desks, entertainment centers, kitchen islands and a go-cart. He also enjoyed boating at Delaware Dam and Marseilles Reservoir, vacationing at Daytona Beach, Fla., and taking McDonald’s coffee breaks in the afternoons and evenings.
The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bringman-Clark and Co. Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating. Burial will be in Old Mission Cemetery, with local veterans’ organizations conducting military graveside rites. Visitation is at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

Florence Stark
Florence I. Stark, 15569 U.S. 30 West, Upper Sandusky, died at her residence at 4:54 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004. She was 91.
Born on Oct. 1, 1913, in Wyandot County, she was a daughter of John B. and Mary Magdelene (Gosche) Vent. She and Maximilian “Max” W. Stark were married in St. Mary Catholic Church in Kirby on Aug. 23, 1934. He died May 2, 1995.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth, Upper Sandusky; and Donald, Wharton; two daughters, Janice M. Stark, Upper Sandusky; and Kathleen Gibler, Oakwood; four grandchildren, Brad Stark, Sandy Stark, Scott Gibler and Kelly Bergman; two stepgrandchildren, Jevon Smalley and Stefanie Mittermaier; six great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Vent, Upper Sandusky; and a sister, Geraldine Vent, Upper Sandusky. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Herman, Francis, Gilbert and Wilfred Vent; and two sisters, Gertrude Thiel and Irene Vent.
A 1932 graduate of Salem Township High School, Mrs. Stark was a homemaker and assisted with the milking and raising chickens on the family farm. She had been employed by Kimmel Cleaners, Richardson’s Flower Shop, and of McBride Furniture in Forest. Mrs. Stark also had worked in the housekeeping department at Wyandot Manor Nursing Home and Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, and of its Rosary Altar Society, having served as its president. She also sang in the church choir, was a member of the Sixty and Holding Group of the church and worked on the church festival.
Mrs. Stark was a member of the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild. She played the piano by ear, wrote poetry and received recognition for one of her poems that was published in the National Library of Poetry. Mrs. Stark also did oil paintings of nature scenes, collected angels, enjoyed cooking and canning. She and her husband, were recognized as A Century Farm by the Diocese of Toledo in 1989.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Kent Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Parish Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A biblical wake will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 6 p.m.

Timothy Clark
Timothy James Clark was stillborn at 11:57 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
His parents, Georgia Sheap and Timothy Clark, both of Upper Sandusky, survive.
Also surviving are his grandparents, Alene Wise, Tiffin; George Wise, Clarion, Pa.; and Daniel and Janet Clark, Sycamore; two great-grandmothers; and three sisters, Hailey, Payne and Chelsea Clark, Sycamore. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Theron Lowden II.
There will be no services.
Margery Harford
FOREST - Margery A. Harford, 68, formerly of Forest and more recently of Kenton, died at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kenton at 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004.
A daughter of Lloyd M. and Beryl V. (Lament) Harford, she was born in Belle Center on Jan. 13, 1936.
A brother, Conwell Harford, Forest; and a sister, Marilyn Carver, Kenton, survive. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Harford.
Ms. Harford was a former employee of Harco Industries in Kenton.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Hueston Cemetery, Forest, with the Rev. Steve Umphress officiating. Visitation is at Shields Funeral Home in Forest, from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
Betty Logsdon
FREMONT - Betty J. Logsdon, 82, of Fremont, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 20, 2004, at Toledo Hospital.
Born in Port Clinton on Aug. 11, 1922, she was a daughter of R.B. and Agnes Rose (Smorgala) Hayes. On May 25, 1946, she was married to Gilbert Logsdon at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton, by the Rev. Karl Brand. Her husband died in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas, Newmarket, N.H.; James, Newport, Mich.; and G. John II, Tiffin; 10 grandchildren; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian McCullough.
Mrs. Logsdon attended Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Port Clinton, and graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1940. She and her husband developed, owned and operated the Fremont Turnpike Motel. She also worked for the U.S. Government in the procurement office at EOD for eight years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, and of its Marian Society Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament and its Rosary Society; and Navy Mothers Club.
Mrs. Logsdon also was member of Boy Scouts of America since 1960, and was a Cub Scout den mother. She also was a member of the former Senior Guild of the Villa Maria Rehabilitation Center in Green Springs.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Bruning officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont.

Eloise Hebble
FOREST - Eloise Price Hebble, 408 Mad River St., Forest, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 95.
Born in Forest on Nov. 16, 1908, she was the daughter of William Bradley and Gwendolen (Cessna) Price. She married Harry Hamel on Aug. 16, 1938. He died June 1, 1965. She then married Charles M. Hebble on May 10, 1969. He died Dec. 5, 1998.
Surviving are a stepson, Charles Hebble, Cape Haze, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Joan Haydock, Cincinnati; seven stepgrandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; two nephews and a niece; two great-nephews and three great-nieces; and three great-great-nephews and a great-great-niece. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Harry and Bradley Price; a nephew; and two great-nieces.
A 1926 graduate of Forest High School, Mrs. Hebble graduated from Western College for Women in Oxford in 1930. She was a retired music and language educator, having taught at Salem Centralized, Everett Junior High, Alexandria Public and Forest-Jackson schools. She also operated Hamel Insurance Agency in Forest for a number of years.
She attended First Presbyterian Church in Forest.
Mrs. Hebble was the 1933 Miss Hardin County for the county's centennial celebration, and also was honored in 1983 and 2003. She was the Forest Committee chairwoman of the Hardin County 150th Celebration in 1983. Mrs. Hebble was a co-founder of the Forest-Jackson Public Library in 1937, and was a member of the Forest Jackson Building Fund Committee, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the former Hardin County University Women's Club No. 1 and of the Ohio and Hardin County retired teachers associations. She also performed in the Gilbert-Sullivan opera in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shields Funeral Home in Forest, with the Rev. Rex Roth officiating. Burial will be in Hueston Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sister Georgiana Agerter
TIFFIN - Sister Georgiana Agerter, 63, of the Sisters of St. Francis in Tiffin, died at 2:17 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at St. Francis Convent.
She was born June 16, 1941, in Tiffin, to Robert Lee and Virginia Mae (Hoerig) Agerter. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are a sister, Glad Barto Bennett, of Surpise, Ariz. and Alexandria, La. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Coffman.
Sister Georgiana’s ministries included domestic work at Tiffin, Payne, Carey, new Cleveland, Custar, Blakeslee and Upper Sandusky; child care in Toledo; food service in Carey, Tiffin, Toledo, Monroe, Mich.; Trenton, Mich.; and Maggie Valley, N.C.; an office manager in Ypsilanti, Mich.; and hospitality ministry at Franciscan Renewal Center in Carey. She most recently was a nursing assistant in the convent infirmary.
Sister Georgiana enjoyed taking Communion to the sick, visiting the elderly and being with her family.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Francis Convent Chapel, 200 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. Burial will be in St. Francis Convent Cemetery. Visitation is at the chapel from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. today. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. there today.

Steven McCord
ST. CHARLES, Mo. -Steven McCord of Wentzville, Mo., died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., on Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. He was 63.
Born in Farmer City, Ill., on Nov. 17, 1940, he was a son of Fredric Beryl and Helen Elizabeth McCord. He was married to Janet McCord, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Mark, St. Charles, Mo.; Michael, Dade City, Fla.; and Gregory Boyle, O’Fallon, Mo.; a daughter, Michele Koester, St. Peters, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, Samuel McCord, Curtis Stanford, Brendan Stanford, Dominick Boyle, Steven Boyle, Samantha McCord, Sarah McCord, Joshua Talluto, Hannah Koester, Jessica Koester, Robert Koester, Kristin Hebert, Nathan Dyke and Jacob Dyke; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Marsha Spurgeon, Sanford, N.C.; and a brother, Jack, Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. McCord was an aeronautical engineer in the aircraft manufacturing industry at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis for 35 years.
Mr. McCord was a member of the Missouri Professional Engineers Society.
The funeral will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel in St. Charles, Mo. Visitation is at the funeral home from 4-7:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton, Mo., at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Robert Heilman
CAREY - Robert H. Heilman, 288 Perry St., McCutchenville, died at 8:10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at his residence. He was 73.
Born in rural Carey on June 8, 1931, he was a son of Harold and Eunice (Roszman) Heilman. He married Anna Bea Nachbar on Aug. 18, 1949, in Greenup, Ky. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael, Carey; and Daniel, McCutchenville; eight grandchildren, MiLinda Tobin and Robin, Jason, Daniel Craig, Trey, Devon, Caleb and Hayden Heilman; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald, Sycamore.
After 39 years, Mr. Heilman retired from Ex-Cello/Textron in Fostoria in June 1991.
He attended Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville.
Mr. Heilman was a member of Wyandot Lodge No. 314 Free and Accepted Masons, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo, William Myers Chapter No. 196 Order of the Eastern Star and of the Wyandot County Historical Society.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. By his request, there is no visitation.
