Noel Kissling
Noel E. Kissling, formerly of Westerville and more recently of Fredericktown, died at his home at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005. He was 57.
A son of Noland L. and Julia (Vent) Kissling, he was born on Dec. 23, 1947, in Bucyrus. His mother survives in Nevada. He married Karen A. Hines on May 16, 1970, in Springfield. She survives
Also surviving are a son, Kevin, Westerville; a daughter, Laurie Kissling, Westerville; and a brother, Glenn, London. He was preceded in death by his father.
A 1966 graduate of Wynford High School, Mr. Kissling graduated from Ohio State University in 1971 with a major in social work. He also attended Wittenburg University.
Mr. Kissling worked as a coordinator for Alliance Data Systems in Westerville. He retired in September because of health reasons after 10 years with the company.
He attended Nevada Lutheran Church.
Mr. Kissing and his wife raised Morgan horses, and he was a member of the Morgan Horse Association. He enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening using only Heirloom seeds, reading and watching OSU basketball.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Nevada Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Nevada, and for an hour before the service at the church.

Paul Walter
CAREY - Paul E. Walter, formerly of 952 Ohio 568, Carey, died at 12:05 a.m. today at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 88.
Arrangements are pending at Stombaugh-Batton Funer-al Home.
Mary Walter
MARION - Mary Celynda Walter, 85, of Marion died early Wednesday evening, Jan. 19, 2005, at Maplewood Nursing Center in Marion.
Born in Lemert on June 1, 1919, to Albert and Stella (Aurand) Gingery, she married Dale Edwin Walter on Sept. 29, 1940. He died in 1960.
Surviving are four sons, Larry, Randall, Michael and Richard, Marion; two daughters, Sherrill Dawson, Worthington; and Darlene Smith, Marion; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers; Willis, Dorsey and Carl Gingery; and three sisters, Nora Berry, Donnabelle Vanway and Helen Gingery.
Mrs. Walter was a graduate of Holmes Liberty High School and was active in a variety of sports. She was a homemaker.
She was a member and Elder of the Lee Street Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Walter belonged to the RSVP Club and had been the Senior of the Year at the Marion Senior Center.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Lee Street Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Oceola Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home.

Patty Bosh
NEVADA - Patty S. Bosh of Nevada, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Heartland Nursing Home in Bucyrus. She was 71.
Born in Marion County on July 6, 1933, she was a daughter of Claude and Ella (Lloyd) Bosh.
Surviving are a sister, Donna Thorpe, Mount Gilead; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John Bosh; and three sisters, Thelma Lesniewski, Margaret Topper and Mary Topper.
A 1952 graduate of Harding High School, Ms. Bosh worked at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in the dietary department for 22 years.
She attended Pilgrim Holiness Church in Nevada.
Ms. Bosh enjoyed making cookies and candy, woodworking and restoring houses.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Pilgrim Holiness Church with the Rev. Brian Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Hershel Music
CAREY - S. Hershel Music, formerly of 603 West St., Carey, died at Fairhaven Retirement and Health Care Community at 2 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at the age of 90.
A son of Henry and Virgie (Conley) Music, he was born in Prestonburg, Ky., on Sept. 15, 1914. He married Myrtle VanHook on March 12, 1955. She died April 23, 1971.
Surviving are a half brother, LeRoy Caudill, Arlington; and two half sisters, Joiline Rinser, North Fort Myers, Fla.; and Blanche Ohl, Sycamore. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Music; and a sister, Bureeda Music. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Jimmy.
Mr. Music retired from Allied Signal in Fostoria in 1976 after 26 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
He attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Carey.
Mr. Music was a life member of VFW Post NO. 3579 in Carey, and enjoyed flower gardening.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Brent Layne and Arnie Rife officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey, where local veterans’ organizations will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, and for an hour before the service at the church.

Donna Hunter
CAREY - Donna Mae Hunter, formerly of Carey and Risingsun and more recently of Hudson, died at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna at 2:15 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005. She was 81.
Born in Carey on Sept. 16, 1923, she was a daughter of Sylvester and Ruth Belle (Nye) Pahl. She and Richard B. Hunter were married June 21, 1941, at the First Methodist Church in Carey. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Loughley, Hudson; and Lynett Smith, Perrysburg; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Edwin Pahl, Findlay; and Jerry Pahl, Mansfield. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen; and three sisters, Bertha Schade, Mildred Hunter and infant Zitella Pahl.
A 1941 graduate of Carey High School, Mrs. Hunter was a housewife.
She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Risingsun.
Mrs. Hunter was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former mother advisor for Rainbow for Girls.
The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, with the Rev. Ivan Schwenn officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Ashford Rexroad
FOREST - Ashford B. Rexroad, 428 S. Fifth St., Upper Sandusky, died at 6:03 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He was 92.
Born on Dec. 3, 1912, in Washburn, W.Va., he was a son of Ira L. and Bessie S. (Reed) Rexroad. He and Virginia D. Lemon were married on May 20, 1934. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, R. Carl, Bucyrus; and Gary, Carey; a daughter, Gloria Gerringer, Findlay; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, May Craver, Barberton; Georgia Jett, Harrisville, W.Va.; and Mildred Bassnett, Southside, Ala. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Rexroad; three sons, Robert, Staunton and Ashford Jr.
Mr. Rexroad retired in 1980 from Eaton Axle Corp. in Marion.
He attended First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus, and his lay ministry was at the Wyandot County Jail, where he preached and distributed Bibles and tracts for more than 30 years.
Mr. Rexroad enjoyed traveling the country, especially to West Virginia, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus, with the Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating. Burial will be in Wharton-Richland Union Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Shields Funeral Home in Forest.
