Liles, Annie Lois, age 92, of Lenoir City, passed away Friday July 8, 2005 at the Baptist Healthcare Center. She was a Charter member of Kingston Pike Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Liles and brothers, Rev. D. O. Johnson and William B. Johnson. Duncan, Sherry Renee Beshires - age 33 of Farragut, passed away Saturday evening, July 9, 2005. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Beshires. Sherry is survived by her mother, Mary Beshires of Farragut; sisters: Deborah Smith and husband, Don of Knoxville, Tammy Brooks of Knoxville, Pamela Daniel and husband, Fred of Paintsville, KY; brother, James Brooks and wife, Laverne of Knoxville; 4 nieces, 9 nephews, 4 great nieces and 4 great nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Hart, Howard Edward (Buster), age 79, of Hardin Valley Community, Knoxville went to be with his children, Sunday July 10, 2005. He was of the Baptist faith. Buster served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Buster was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Viles and his sons, Bobby and Glen. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia Lovelace Hart; sons: Tony Hart and wife Judy; Gary Hart and wife, Ann; Timmy Hart and wife Tammy; and Joe Hart; daughter, Jean Calloway; several grandchildren and great grand-children; special relative, Agnes Johnson; sister, Agnes Henry; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ralph Lovelace and wife Barbara, Ernestine Smith and Hazel Lovelace; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bolt, Pauline Emma Jacobs, age 80, of Friendsville, formerly of Loudon Co., passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at U. T. Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1925 in Sweetwater, TN and shortly thereafter moved to Loudon. She was a faithful member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Bolt had many friends and relatives and will be deeply missed by all. She worked for Yale & Towne Lock Co. for 26 years where she served as Union Steward for many years. She was preceded in death by father, Willis Jacobs; mother, Minnie Atkins Jacobs; sisters, Willie May Johns, Lois Fisher, Leona Ward, and Sylvia Arden; brothers, Bart Lindsey, J. D. Jacobs, Sam Jacobs, Hubert Jacobs, Herbert Jacobs and Anderson Jacobs. Freels, Donald L., age 71, of Lenoir City went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening on July 12, 2005, at his home. Don was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed camping after his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Benton Freels. Don will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Barbara J. Trout, Frances Douglas Mashburn - passed away Thursday July 14, 2005, at her home. Frances was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She received her B.S. from Carson-Newman College in 1963, her Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1965 and her EDS from Tennessee Tech in 1994. She taught in the Loudon County Schools from 1978-2001. Frances was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and took great joy in caring for them. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Henry Mashburn and Frances Douglas Paysour Mashburn; infant twin brother, Carl Henry Mashburn. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Joe W.Trout of Lenoir City; sons, Michael and wife, Tracy, and Jody all of Loudon; grandsons, Brayden and Connor; uncle, W.D. Plonk along with many special cousins and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8:15 p.m. Saturday at Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. Schneider, Angela Kay Thompson, age 36, of Rockwood, TN, formerly of Farragut, TN, Gadsden, AL, Birmingham, AL and Rock Hill, SC, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, July 13, 2005, in an automobile accident. Angie was a member of Faith Promise Church in Farragut. She was a graduate of University of Alabama-Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a graduate of the Surgeons Assistants Program. She was a wonderful mother and loved her children, Anya and Noah, who were adopted from the Ukraine. She was active in her children's school and assisted there frequently. Angie was an avid swimmer and taught swimming, and enjoyed photography. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter B. Thompson; grandmother, Inez Y. Croxton, and uncles, Charles Thompson, Jimmy Turner and Michael Croxton. In addition to her children, she is survived by her mother and step-father, Glenda Thompson Duke and Harry Ronald Duke, MD of Gadsden, AL; her grandfather, Thomas Clyburn, Sr. of Kershaw, SC; the father of her children, Paul D. Schneider, MD of Knoxville and the children's grandparents, Setsuko and Theodore William Schneider of Birmingham, AL; aunts and uncles, Debi and Jeff Sizemore of York, SC, Thomas C. Croxton, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Charlotte R. Croxton of Kershaw, SC; Frances and Boyd Bradley, Mary Ellen Turner, and Guy Stacks all of Lancaster, SC. Shepherd, William Clyde, age 47, of Seymour passed away suddenly Sunday, July 16, 2005. Willie was preceded in death by father, James Avery Shepherd and his grandparents, Mattie and Clyde Shepherd. Survived by his wife, Grace Katherine Shepherd; mother, Laverne Shepherd; sons, William Clyde Shepherd Jr. and John John Shepherd; step son, Philip Robert Purdy; step daughters, Alida Purdy Childress and Amanda Bush; grandchildren, Brianna Childress, T.J. Childress and Aric Barfuss; sisters, Teresa and Yvonne Shepherd; brother, Charles Shepherd; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Crumley, Carl Leon, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Sunday evening, July 17, 2005. Carl was born August 10, 1929 in Etowah, TN and was the only child of his parents. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School class of 1952. He worked for Crawford and Company Insurance Adjusters as a manager for 35 years until his retirement. He loved to garden, raise grapes, fruit trees and flowers. He also loved attending church. He was a member and elder of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church. He sang in the choir and on occasion preached the sermon when needed. Survivors: wife of 46 years, Alma Gay Crumley; three children, Dan Crumley, Charlene Bessler and Doug Crumley; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Trame, Charles E., age 82, of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2005, of natural causes. Mr. Trame formerly of Mequon, WI and Lima OH, lived in Tellico Village since 1993. He was a member of the Tellico Art Guild and the Knoxville Museum of Art. He served in the South Pacific during World War II in the United States Marine Corp. He was attached to the Corsair Squadron known as Hell’s Bells. Mr. Trame was born in Glandorf, OH on September 28, 1922. He was a noted artist and spent his career in the commercial arts before retiring to Tellico Village. Mr. Trame has many artistic accomplishments to his name and over 15 patents. One of the most notable is his invention of the first motion sign, the famous Hamm’s waterfall sign advertising Hamm’s Beer. Mr. Trame retired as President of Everbrite Sign Inc. in South Milwaukee, WI, where they have honored him by naming the research and development building the Charles E. Trame Technology Center. He was active in the POPAI Association. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 57 years, Doris Jane Cole Trame in 2002, and his parents Edward and Sue Trame of Lima, OH.. He is survived by his four children, Patricia Ann Keegan and husband, Peter of Hawthorne Woods, IL, Thomas Trame and wife, Nancy of Sevierville, James Trame and wife, Kimberly of Knoxville, Christine Cobb and husband, Bob of Woodbury, MN; ; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. . A funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City. Father David Boettner will officiate. Private interment will be held following the mass. Essie was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis (Ben) Metheny. Survivors: daughter, Rachel Southerland of FL; grandchildren, Wayne Metheny, his wife, Betsy, and their children, Ed, John and Tony all of Farragut, TN; Tom and Tim Alwin both of FL; several other grandchildren; brother, Bud Gump of New Martinsville, WVA; several nieces and nephews. Crox, Mary (Tootsie) Stafford, age 76, of Wheat Road, Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2005. She was a member of Cave Creek Missionary Baptist Church for 64 years. Tootsie retired from Charles H. Bacon Hosiery. She was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Susie Stafford and brother, George Stafford. Survived by her husband of 58 years, James (Slim) Crox; children, Juanita Patterson and husband, John, Tommy Crox and wife, Becky all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Jeff Crox and wife, Mary, Melissa Garner and husband, Todd and Jamey Patterson and wife, Kim; great grandchildren, Ashley Garner, Tony Daniels, Stevie Daniels, Katie Patterson, Drew Garner and Audrey Patterson; sister, Hester Malone and husband, Gene of the Cave Creek Community; nephews, Larry and David Stafford. Kay and her husband, Donald formerly lived in Cherokee, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska. Kay was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City, TN and a former member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Iowa and St. Column Kill in Nebraska. She spent time in Iowa working in the Cherokee County Treasurer’s Office, the School District 66 and with Analyst International Corp. in Omaha. She was preceded in death by sister, Elizabeth, brother, Claude and sister, Colleen. Survivors are her husband of 45 years, Donald Bevins; sons, Michael of Myrtle Beach, SC and Daniel of Joliet, IL; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Delores of Storm Lake, IA and Sheila of Cherokee, IA; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to say a special thank you to Ruby Roberson, Tina Neumann and the staff of Adventa Hospice for their care and compassion during Kay’s illness. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City, TN with Father David Boettner officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 154, Loudon, TN 37774. Dunlap, Jeffrey Lynn, age 45, of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 21, 2005. Jeff was a landscaper in the area. He was preceded in death by mother, Geraldine Dishner Dunlap; brother, Randy Dunlap; grandparents, Euclid Dunlap and Rosa Tuck. Survived by his father, Max Dunlap; sister, Dianne Munsey both of Lenoir City; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow in Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is serving the family of Jeffrey Lynn Dunlap.

Crumley, Carl Leon, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Sunday evening, July 17, 2005. Carl was born August 10, 1929 in Etowah, TN and was the only child of his parents. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School class of 1952. Carl worked for Crawford and Company Insurance Adjusters as a manager for 35 years until his retirement. He loved to garden, raise grapes, fruit trees and flowers. He also loved attending church. Carl was a member and elder of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church. He sang in the choir and on occasion preached the sermon when needed. Survivors: wife of 46 years, Alma Gay Crumley; three children, Dan Crumley, Charlene Bessler and Doug Crumley; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.,Saturday, July 30, at Clover Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Gilliland officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 900 East Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN 37915.
