Jerry Woodruff Wilkerson, age 53, of Gray, TN, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 after an illness with cancer. Jerry was retired as Director of Operations for PFG, Hale in Morristown, TN. He was a former business graduate and basketball letterman, 1970-1974, of East Tennessee State University. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Woodruff (Woody) Wilkerson; grandparents, Floyd and Mary Wilkerson; The Reverend Sam J.K. and Mary Elizabeth Munsey all from Lenoir City; several aunts and uncles. Dwayne A. Schoepke, age 74, of Greenback, formerly of Oconomowoc and Juneau, WI, Jonesboro, AR, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2006. He was a member of Axley Chapel United Methodist Church. A lifetime member of V. F. W. in Mountain Home, AR. Dwayne was a 1950 graduate of Juneau High in Wisconsin and attended University Wisconsin Milwaukee. A veteran of the Korean War serving in the U. S. Air Force. He published the Dodge Co. Independent News and worked for W. A. Krueger Printing Company in Brookfield, WI and Jonesboro, AR before retiring to Tennessee. Dwayne was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lucella Schoepke. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Dianne Daley Schoepke; children, Amy Moss and husband, Randy of Brownsville, WI, Heidi Miller and husband, Mike of Jonesboro, AR, Peter Schoepke and wife, Dolores, Jennifer Lawson and husband, Aaron all of Greenback; grandchildren: Tyler, Dominic, Abbey, Logan, Blake, Kandis, Katie and Lindsey; brother, Jerome Schoepke and wife, Dorothy of Beaver Dam, WI; several nieces and nephews. Eddie Lee Henderson, age 59, of Tompkinsville, KY formerly of Loudon, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007, at the V. A. Hospital in Murfreesboro. Eddie was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army with the First Calvary Division. Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Bailey and infant brother, Ronnie Henderson. Howard Lennard (Dink) Lowe, age 54, of Greenback, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 2, 2007. He attended Bellview Baptist Church and was a truck driver for Boyd Brothers Transport. Howard served his country in Vietnam with the United States Air Force. He was a member of AOPA and an avid sports pilot. Preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Leona Gibson Lowe; brothers: Jack, Hobart, Arthur and Gene Lowe and his sister, Thelma Oglesby. William (Bud) Norman, age 59, of Lenoir City, passed away Monday night, June 4, 2007 at his home. Bud was preceded in death by his father, Bill Norman; sister, Sue Cates and brother, Chuck Norman. Hugo C. Pribor M.D. Ph.D., age 78, of Farragut, TN, formerly of Westfield, NJ, Nashville, TN and Tampa, FL died peacefully at home, Sunday morning, June 3, 2007, surrounded by his family. Dr. Pribor was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He received his Ph.D. and M.D. at St. Louis University. Dr. Pribor was an active clinical pathologist for 50 years. He served as Director of Laboratories at Perth Amboy General Hospital in Perth Amboy, NJ. Thereafter, he founded and served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Center for Laboratory Medicine Inc., a publicly-listed reference laboratory based in Metuchen, NJ. For over twenty years, he served as Medical Director of Quest Diagnostics in Nashville, TN. For the last several years of his life, Dr. Pribor devoted himself to the practice of, age Management Medicine. He was an avid sailor, survived Hurricane Agnes during the famous 1972 Newport-Bermuda Yacht Race with son, Jeff, in crew, and a member of New York Yacht Club and St. Petersburg Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith Smith Pribor; children, Jeffrey Pribor and wife, Susie of Madison, NJ, Elizabeth Pribor M.D. and husband, Don Emery II of St. Louis, MO, Kate Schulte and husband, John Schulte M.D. of Farragut, TN; grandchildren, Jeffrey Pribor Jr., Molly Pribor, Tucker Pribor, Dusty Pribor, Madeline Emery, Gwendolyn Emery, Ricky Schulte, Rory Schulte and Rebecca Schulte; brother, Don Pribor of Toledo, OH; several nieces and nephews. Charles Steed, age 89, of Tellico Village, Loudon, TN formerly of Dothan, AL, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007 in Farragut, TN. He was of the Methodist faith. Charles was retired from Exxon Mobil Oil Co. in Trenton, MI. He was active with the 4H Club and an avid fisherman and golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Georgia Steed; daughter, Joyce Paquette; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. Tony Western, age 73, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Irondequoit, NY, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday June 6, 2007. Tony was born in Exeter, Devon, England and was the eldest son of Albert Edward Davie Western and Olive Amy Eastmond Western. He was baptized in the River Jordan. Tony was a member of St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church and was a former Vestry member. He was a member of AA with 25 years of sobriety on June 6. Tony was retired from Eastman Kodak with 32 years of service in International Marketing. He was an avid photographer and loved classical music and New Orleans Jazz. Tony was a voracious reader. He was an athletic swimmer and enjoyed his daily swims at the YMCA.He was the husband of Joan, his wife of 55 years; father to Julie Salo of Fairport, NY and Trevor Western of Sudbury, MA; father-in-law to Arthur Salo and Donna Western; grandfather to Andrew Salo, Heather Western, Jessica Salo, Christopher Western, Aaron Gerry, Hannah Gerry and Nathan Gerry; brother to David Western of Exeter, Devon, England and Anne Hunns of Plymouth, Devon, England; uncle to several nieces and nephews. Larry was an avid motorcyclist and was the leader of the B P Gang. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Dortha Estes Bandy. Barbara Lynn McKelvey Craft, age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Friday evening, June 8, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospice Center. Barbara was retired from U T Medical Center, where she worked as a Registered Trauma Nurse. She was an avid gardener. Charles Hughes (Charlie) Holman, age 19 of Farragut died from a fall on Saturday June 9, 2007. Charlie's first passion was golf. He spent most of his life at Fox Den Country Club. He played on the Farragut High School Golf Team for four years and played tournament golf throughout the Southeast. His major accomplishments were winning the 2003 Region III AAA Golf Tournament and winning the Fox Den Jr. Championship three consecutive times. Charlie's other passions included his fraternity, Phi Gamma Delta, University of Tennessee Athletics, snow boarding, ice hockey, hiking, camping, frog gigging, peer tutoring, and counseling at Camp Koinonia. Charlie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. George and Mrs. Flo Stephenson of Murfreesboro, TN; Claire H. Holman of Amelia, VA. Robbins, Ginger Lea Foshee, age 41, of Caryville, formerly of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly in a boating accident on Saturday, June 9, 2007 on Norris Lake. Ginger was a 1984 graduate of Lenoir City High School and Draughon’s Business College. She was a realtor for Rocky Top Realty and a member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Ginger was loved by everyone who knew her for her beautiful smile and her compassionate nature. She loved sharing her life with her friends and was always there for anyone in need. Ginger lived life to the fullest and enjoyed motorcycle riding, camping (in Key West!) and spending time on the lake with her many special friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Erskin Foshee, Eula Laughlin, and David Laughlin. Ginger is survived by the love of her life, best friend and loving husband, Dr. Jan Robbins of Caryville, who loved to spoil her rotten; mother, Nancy Laughlin Foshee; father, Bob Foshee; sister and best friend, Connie Lynne Foshee; cherished and much loved nephew, Zachary Robert Gardner; grandmother, Irene Foshee, all of Lenoir City; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Juanita Robbins of McAllen, Texas; brothers-in-law, Kirk Robbins, Michael Robbins and wife, Bonnie Robbins; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Clarence F. Smith, age 80, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2006. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Clarence was retired from the State of Tennessee and was a longtime farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josh and Annie Smith; sister, Vida Gallaher; brothers, Jack Smith and Ross Smith. Clarence is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlotte Kennedy Smith; children, Ronald Smith, Gilbert Smith and wife, Sheila all of Lenoir City, Albert Smith, Ricky Smith both of Morristown, Anita Watkins and husband, Chris of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Crystal Scott, Anthony Smith, Nathan Smith, Angelica Smith, Josephine Smith, Eric Watkins and Jessica Watkins; great grandchildren, Trey, Emily, Isbella, Keiley and McKayla; sister, Mary Emma Davis and husband, George of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Blankenship and Rev. Wayne Jones officiating. Pauline Moore Wilson, age 84, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday morning June 9, 2007 at her home. Pauline was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wilson; son, Randy Wilson; granddaughter, Tonya Smith; parents, Sam and Mollie Moore; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Pauline is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Jack and GayNell Wilson of Kingston, Richard Wilson of Macon, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Robert Simpson, JoAnn and Carl Smith, Wanda and Ron Queener all of Lenoir City, Christine and Don Embler of Irving, TX; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Rubye Cansler of Athens; aunt, Grace Purdy of Loudon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Sunday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Rockholt and Rev. Arlin Gurley officiating.
