GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. - Calling hours for Andrew Baker will be Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, from 6-8 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of East Lawn with Elder David Lester officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Baker, 84, formerly of Grundy, passed away Sept. 29, 2002.

Clay R. Buckles
ELIZABETHTON - Clay Robinson Buckles, 87, 222 Keenburg Road, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Hillview Health Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frank and Ardelia Noland Buckles. He was owner of Clay's Specialty Company for several years. He was a charter member of the Parkway Baptist Church, Bristol. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Buckles was preceded in death by two sisters, Effie Danner and Pearl Buckles; and one brother, Claude Buckles.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Danner Buckles; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Janette and Robert Buck, Elizabethton, Goldia Rebecca and John Sommers, Johnson City and Sherry Anne and Gary Montgomery, Bristol; one son and daughter-in-law, Sonny Clay and Marcy Buckles, Johnson City; four sisters, Edith Buckles and Myrtle Pierce, both of Elizabethton, Margaret Garland, Casco, Mich., and Brenda Taylor, Johnson City; five brothers, Gene, H.J., Ivan and Earl Buckles, all of Elizabethton, and Paul Buckles, Kingsport; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert "Tom" Buck, Dr. Herb Reavis and Dr. Gary Montgomery officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, will be Robin Clay Sommers, Matthew Clay Buckles, Rev. Robert "Tom" Buck, John Christopher Sommers, Gary Wayne Montgomery, Michael Clayton Buckles, Micah Camaliel Montgomery and Jared Robinson Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Brown, Howard Love, Don Williams, Ray Estep, Robert Buck, John Sommers, Charles Worley Danner, Forney Danner and the staff of Hillview Health Center. V.F.W. Post 2166 will conduct military graveside honors. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery.

Montie E. Chambers
ELIZABETHTON - Montie Eugene Chambers, 53, 712 1/2 Third St., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of Raymond and Mildred Nelson Chambers of the home. He was self-employed. Mr. Chambers had lived in Texas for a number of years before returning to Elizabethton three years ago. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Texas. Mr. Chambers was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include two daughters, Misty (Becky) Chambers, Elizabethton and Elizabeth Melody Bice, Hampton; one sister, Judy Johnson, Abingdon; three brothers, Harvey Chambers, Roan Mountain, Terry Chambers, Elizabethton and Ed Chambers, Hampton; and a special friend, Sandy Vance, Roan Mountain.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Street and Rev. Allen Simerly officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hall Cemetery, Tiger Creek. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday, will be Kenneth Chambers, Wayne Chambers, Trey Johnson, Travis Guess, D.L. Whitehead and Eddie Lyons. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Mack Chambers, Harold Chambers, Donnie Chambers, George Chambers, Wayne Blevins, Gary Blevins, Scotty Birchfield and Peanut Whitehead. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of his parents, Raymond and Mildred Chambers, 712 1/2 Third St., Elizabethton. John Edward Deel
John Edward (Buster) Deel passed away very unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Oct. 1, of an apparent heart attack.
John had been a truck driver for many years, having retired from Mini-Fibers, Inc. in 1987. He also served his country in the Korean Conflict where he received the Purple Heart. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church. He spent much of his time at local auctions looking for antiques and mingling with friends at Traders Village. Apple trees and bird feeders were great joys for him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Meredith M. Deel and Ada Rasnake Deel; brothers, Orba and Virgil Deel; and sisters, Mae Cox, Mildred Milsap and Fernie Deel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mona Ruth (Hicks) Deel; and three daughters and their families, Lisa and Bob Mescher, El Segundo, California; Kathy Pleasant, Baltimore, and Debbie and Kenneth Boggs, Kingsport. He was loved by his grandchildren, Tara Pleasant, Tracy (Pleasant) Sledgeski, Tommy Pleasant, Ashley Boggs, Brian Mescher, Jeremey Boggs, Amy Mescher and Misty Boggs Neeley. Also a great-granddaughter, Emma Sledgeski and great-grandson, Blake Neeley. Surviving also are a brother, Scottie Deel, North Carolina; and sisters, Opal Whitaker, Memphis, Dorothy Vaughn, Tallahassee, and Sophia McClain, Kingsport. Surviving also are many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening, Oct. 4, 2002, at East Lawn Funeral Home and any time at the home. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Bob Lowry and Rev. Ira Howard at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at the funeral home. Reedy Creek Presbyterian Church Choir will provide special music. Military graveside services by V.F.W. 3382 Charles DeWitt Byrd Post will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tommy Pleasant and Jeremey Boggs; nephews, Ronnie Parker and Jeff Deel; also Matt Sledgeski and Gary Musselman.

John Ervin
CASTLEWOOD - Funeral services for John Ervin will be conducted in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Leonard Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be nephews.

Mary V. Gose
Mary Catherine Van Buren Gose, formerly of Bristol, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Sundridge Hillside Nursing Home of Kingsport. She was born in Richmond, a daughter of the late Edwin and Julia Pendleton Van Buren, and was the widow of George Hurt Gose. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bristol and was a former employee of Pippin Florist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Barnes and her husband Lee of Bristol Tennessee; a son, Robert C. Gose and his wife Shelia S. of Blountville; grandchildren, Kristan L. Oliver of Bluff City, Karen Alsup of Rockwood, Tenn., Valerie Sexton of Kingsport, Roger Redmond of Birmingham, Ala., Kevin Redmond, Bristol Tennessee, Michelle Arnold of Bristol Tennessee, and Teresa Redmond of Kingsport; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert P. Van Buren.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 Thursday evening in the Paul Cook Memorial Chapel of Oakley-Cook Funeral Home with Dr. Clay Austin officiating. Music will be provided by Rick Osborne. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:15 p.m. The committal service and interment will be conducted at 11 o'clock Friday morning in Forest Hills Memory Gardens in Abingdon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Down Syndrome Awareness Group of East Tennessee, P.O. Box 53575, Knoxville, TN 37950-3575 in honor of Mary's great-granddaughter, Alexis Alsup. Arrangements especially for Mrs. Gose have been made through Oakley-Cook Funeral Home.

Lillian Irene Greenway
BLOUNTVILLE - The interment for Lillian Irene Greenway will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the Cross Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cecil Arnold, Roger Crouch, Michael Nicholson, David Greenway, Ronnie Jones and Jerry Greenway Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Rosenbalm, Dr. Chris Basham and staff at the Wellmont Hospice House. Mrs. Greenway, 77, 122 Greenway Road, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in the Wellmont Hospice House.

Margie H. Hampton
TIFTON, Ga. - Ms. Margie Hartsock Hampton, 85, a former resident of Bristol Tennessee, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Beverly Health Care in Tifton.
She was born Jan. 2, 1917, in Hanging Rock, Scott County, Va.,. to the late William and Virginia Patrick Hartsock. Ms. Hampton was a homemaker and a former assembly line worker for General Motors in Atlanta. She was a member of Thomaston, (Ga.) Church of God.
Survivors include one son, Rev. Daniel W. Hampton of Tifton; one daughter, Ms. Jean Hampton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two granddaughters, Estona Middlebrooks and husband, Jason, of Conyers, Ga., and April Crumley of Stockbridge, Ga.; one grandson, Anthony Hampton and wife, Deborah, of Kennesaw, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Dickson of Lexington, Ky., and Ms. Dorothy Greene of Fayetteville, N.C.; one brother, Clyde Hartsock and wife, Betty, of Middletown, Del.; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel in Boone, N.C., with Rev. Daniel Hampton and Rev. Rich Bowen officiating.
Graveside services and burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol Tennessee.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Service in Boone.

Alden L. Henderson
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Mr. Alden L. Henderson, 73, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at his home. He was born and raised in Washington County and was the son of the late Bradley and Willie Findley Henderson. He was a retired sergeant first class in the U.S. Army having served 26 years. He served during the Korean conflict and Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hitinger Henderson of Clarksville; two brothers, Ray Findley Henderson of Layton, Utah, and Jack L. Henderson of Blacksburg, S.C.; two sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Henderson Johnson of Norwalk, Calif., and Margaret H. Griffith of Abingdon; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Minister Bill Edmonds officiating. Military rites will be held immediately following the service in the Knollkreg Memorial Park by the Highlands Fellowship Veterans Color Honor Guard. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Margaret H. Griffith. Ruby C. Keen
RICHLANDS - Mrs. Ruby Christine Keen, 82, of 1441 Farmer St., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Pike County, Ky., and was a daughter of the late Willie A. and Suda Martin Maynard, both Elkhorn City, Ky., natives.
She was a life long resident of the Richlands area and, in addition to her parents, was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Thomas Douglas Keen; one sister; and two brothers.
Survivors are: two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Keen Rife and husband, Jackie of Richlands, and Mrs. Shirley Lee Altizer and husband, Rev. Greg, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one son, Mr. Bennie Douglas Keen of Richlands; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Patty Selenski of Goshen, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Mullins of Elkhorn City, Ky., and Mrs. Kathleen Pruitt of Ypsilanti, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 4 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Charlie McGlothlin and Rev. James Salyers officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands after 6 p.m. Thursday. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands is in charge of arrangements.

Robert D. Moore Sr.
MEADOWVIEW - Mr. Robert David Moore Sr., 72, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, in the Johnston Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Meadowview and was preceded in death by his parents, James Frank and Verna Gilly Moore; and a brother, Fred Moore.
He was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and was a life member of the D.A.V. and the V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Molly Moore, Meadowview; three sons, Jerry Moore, Hueytown, Ala., Hollis "Buck" Moore, Martinsburg, W.Va., and Robert D. Moore Jr., North Carolina; two daughters, Frances Power, Meadowview and Phyllis Jane Sowle, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Bill Moore, Meadowview and Jerry Douglas Moore, Meadowview; four sisters, Betty Boswell, Willow Spring, N.C., Mary Alice Moore, Pasadena, Md., Sylvia Sordillo, Baltimore, Linda Newman, Warnick, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Farris Funeral Chapel.
Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in the National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tenn., with honors to be presented by the U.S. Army Honor Detail from Fort Campbell, Ky.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 p.m. in the funeral home.

Sandra P. Morrison
LEBANON - The funeral service for Sandra (Toni) Puckett Mrorison will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in the chapel of the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the Rev. Ernest Jessee officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Those attending are requested to meet at the mausoleum.
Mrs. Morrison, 64, of Jones Avenue, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at her home.

Ford Osborne
ST. PAUL - Funeral services for Ford Osborne will be held in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel in Castlewood on Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Arville Dingus officiating. Carlene Poore
Virginia Carlene Poore went to be with the Lord Sept. 30, 2002.
Carlene was born in Sullivan County, Tenn., a daughter of Rosa Light Sams and the late Howard H. Sams Sr. She had lived her entire life in the Orebank community. Carlene graduated from Ketron High School and was an active member of Orebank Central Baptist Church. She was employed by Eastman Chemical Company in the Organic Chemicals Quality Control Lab for 29 years, retiring in 1997.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Poore; brothers, Ray Sams and Michael Sams; and one nephew, Mark Roberts.
Surviving are her mother, Rosa Sams, Kingsport; sisters, Peggy Roberts Riggs and Mrs. Ed (Mary) Norton, both of Kingsport; brother, Howard H. Sams Jr., Kingsport; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Visitation was at East Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002 from 5-8 p.m. and any time at the home of Carlene Poore. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Lelbert Thornburg and Reverend J.E. Mauk officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Caldwell, Roy Caldwell, David Caldwell, Jerry Sams, Kevin Horne, Allen Cox and Rick Davis. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Roy M. Rachel Jr.
Roy M. Rachel Jr., 79, of 213 Randolph St., Bristol, Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1002, at Wellmont Hospice House.
Mr. Rachel was a native of Bristol Virginia, and a member of North Bristol Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and was treasurer of the church for many years. He was active in Meals on Wheels, Bristol Cancer Group and served the community any where he was needed as a volunteer.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a bombardier and gunner.
He was retired from the Tennessee Eastman Company where he worked for a number of years.
Mr. Rachel loved his family, his church and the Virginia High School Athletics, where he was a dedicated Bearcat fan.
Mr. Rachel is survived by his wife, Agnes M. Rachel of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rusty and Nancy R. Arnold of Bristol Virginia, Barbara R. Smith of Bristol Virginia, and Rick and Vickie Lynn Shupe of Dallas; four grandchildren, Whitney Reed, Derrick Arnold, Tiffany Parker and Makenzie Shupe; and seven great-grandchildren, Brandon Arnold, Justin Hicks, Josh Arnold, Justin Reed, Lindsey Hicks, Thomas Parker and Tyler Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Godfrey, Rev. Scott Price and Rev. Malcolm Stuart. Music will be by Danny Hill. Burial will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by Patton-Crosswhite Post 6975. Pallbearers will be Wilbur Hall, Keith Blevins, Leighton Musick, Norman Smallwood, Jim Goodman and Ike Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be remaining deacon body and special friends, Rev. Lester MacKinnon, Rev. Charlie Taylor, Luther Large, Joe Rigole, Roy Morrison, E.J. Johnson, Harvey Rector, Charlie Cross, Allen Smith and the Virginia High Bearcats. Visitation will be held Thursday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Akard Funeral Home prior to the service.

Pauline Salamon
KINGSPORT - Pauline Salamon, 86, went to be with the Lord Sept. 30, 2002, after a lengthy illness.
Pauline was born Aug. 28, 1916, in Greeneville, Tenn., a daughter of the late John and Ernie Hensley Brown. She was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Pauline was predeceased by husbands, David Salaman and Hap Soyars; and son, Roger Soloman.
Surviving are her daughter, Freda Fleenor of the home; grandchildren, David Fleenor, Cynthia Fleenor/Shelton, Jeffrey Fleenor, Reverend Mark Fleenor and Tina Soloman Hutchinson; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters in Greene County; and four brothers.
Visitation will be any time at the home of the daughter and Thursday evening, Oct. 3, 2002, from 6-8 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Charlie Dye officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Mildred Ann Sargent
HONAKER - Mrs. Mildred Ann Sargent, 69, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at her home. Born Feb. 16, 1933, in Honaker, she was a daughter of the late Paris E. and Irene Wyatt Taylor. A lifelong resident of the Honaker area, she was a 1952 graduate of Honaker High School and had received a food service degree from Southwest Virginia Community College. She had been employed as the manager of Honaker Elementary School Cafeteria for 38 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Honaker and attended the Full Gospel House of Prayer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Sargent in 1973.
Survivors include one son, Russell Sargent and his wife Sharon of Cedar Bluff; three daughters, Judy Sargent of Honaker, Donna Peck and her husband Rick of Honaker and Sherry Sargent of Honaker; two granddaughters, Jessica Ann Sluss and Ashlie C. Pineda, both of Honaker; three sisters, Evangeline Thomas of Newport News, Va., and Dorothy Willard and Betty Hall, both of Honaker; four brothers, Carter Taylor of Honaker, Lawrence Taylor of Lebanon and Jimmy and Tommy Taylor, both of Honaker; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, with Rev. Gerald Lester, Rev. Wade Taylor, Brother Les Ritchie and Rev. Chris Musick officiating. Interment will follow in Temple Hill Memorial Park at Castlewood, Va.
Pallbearers will be Robert Combs, William Sargent, Roger Hagy, Jeff Kinder, Steve Lester and John Sargent.
Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Virginia L. Stallard
WISE - Virginia Arzella Layne Stallard, 60, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at her home in Wise.
She was a member of the House of Prayer Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roger K. Stallard; mother, Arminda Layne Boggs; father, James Layne; stepfather, Woodrow Boggs; and two brothers, Foster Layne and Donald Layne.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Willie Ray Stallard; three daughters, Patricia Stallard and Katherine Skidmore, both of Wise, and Regina Yeary of Big Stone Gap, Va.; four sons, Billy Stallard, Harold Stallard, Bobby Stallard and Donald Stallard, all of Wise; two sisters, Evelina Rose of Norton and Becky Stanley of Pound; three brothers, James Layne of Clintwood, Author Layne of Nickelsville, Va., and Darrell Layne of Wise; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel, Wise, with Rev. Rev. Gerald Osborne and Rev. Vernon Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone Gap. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Sturgill Funeral Home, Wise.
Sturgill Funeral Home, Wise, is in charge of arrangements.

William K. Taylor
A memorial service for William K. Taylor will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at State Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Dearing, Rev. David Green and Rev. Laura Rasor officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Flowers and memorial contributions may be sent to State Street United Methodist Church, 300 West Valley Drive, Bristol, VA 24201. The committal service and entombment in the Mountain View Mausoleum will be private.
Mr. Taylor, 75, of Bristol Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at the home of his daughter in Bristol Virginia.
Arrangements especially for Mr. Taylor have been made through Blevins Funeral Home.

Bobby W. Tedder Sr.
ABINGDON - Bobby Willard "Bob" Tedder Sr., 66, of 416 Rodefer St., died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at his residence. He was the son of the late Jake E. and Okie M. Tedder. He was the co-owner of Associated Tree Service of Abingdon. Mr. Tedder was a member of Greendale Chapel. He was a member of the Desert Sands Shrine Club where he served as past president. He was a member of the York Lodge No. 12 A.F. & A.M. where he served as Past Master. Mr. Tedder was a U.S. veteran retiring from the U.S. Air Force serving in both the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Tedder of Abingdon; four daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Junior Arnold of Bristol Tennessee, Tammy and John Bays of Blountville, Susie Tedder of Abingdon and Sharrie and Edward Yarber of Beach City, Ohio; four sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby W. Jr. and Ajsha Tedder of Pompano Beach, Fla., Timothy L. and Nellie Tedder of Johnson City, Randy S. and Nadja Tedder of Abingdon, Cameron J. Tedder of Abingdon; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, David G. and Brenda Tedder of Abingdon; and one sister and brother-in-law, Linda C. and David Hess of Bristol Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in the Campbell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry A. Eggers and Rev. Dean Livingston officiating. Active pallbearers will be Junior Arnold, Edward Yarber, John Bays, Johnny Robinson, Tracy Arnold, Dale Tedder, Jamie Barr and B.J. Tedder. Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis Eskridge, Keith Rife, Walter Fulton, Norman Ray, Clifton Rouse, James McIntyre, Scott Fulton and Jimmy Fulton.
Entombment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Knollkreg Memorial Park. A Masonic service will be conducted by the York Lodge No. 12 A.F. & A.M. Military honors will be conducted by the Highlands Fellowship Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the Campbell Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Shrine Children's Hospital, c/o Desert Sands Shine Club, P.O. Box 1362, Abingdon, VA 24212 or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Campbell Funeral Home, Abingdon, is in charge of arrangements.

Graveside services for Bruce "Eddie" Wilson will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Harr Cemetery with Rev. Jessee Neal officiating.
Mr. Wilson, 49, of 250 Bellebrook Road, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at the Cambridge House.
