Harry C. Chandler, 79, of St. Albans died Saturday, April 18, 1998 in Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, St. Albans, after a long illness.
He retired from FMC Chemical Division, South Charleston plant, with 31 years of service, was a 54-year resident of St. Albans and a Protestant.
Surviving: wife, Donna Marie Chandler; daughters, June Austin of Summersville, Trinna Hughes of Burlington, N.C.; son, Darrell of St. Albans; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson.

She was a former schoolteacher in Kanawha and Boone counties and a member of Gordon Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a retired oil delivery man and an Army veteran of World War II.

WALLACE, S.C. -- James Bruce Jones, 85, of Wallace, formerly of Handley, W.Va., died Friday, April 17, 1998 at home.
He was born in Hiner, Ky., was a former mine foreman at Semet Solvay, Harwood, W.Va., and was a retired insurance supervisor. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, where he served as treasurer, Sunday School superintendent and senior adult teacher.
