Go West on Gordon Terry Parkway,
Go approximately 3 miles west of the Highway 33 intersection,
Turn right on gravel road (Law. Co. 164) and go approximately 2.2 miles.
The cemetery is on the right in the middle of a field, under some large trees.

Infant son of Cora Pickens (b. October 29, 1877, Law. Co. d. May 10,, 1947, Law Co.) and James Henry "Jim" Heflin (b. November 17, 1869, Law. Co., Alabama, d. August 22, 1947, Law. Co.) Cora and Jim married January 10, 1896. Cora was the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie" Washer and Franklin Price Pickens. "Sallie" Washer was the daughter of Martha M. Templeton and William C. Washer.

Key, Tandy - Born December 7, 1815, Died June 10, 1905. At rest. Tandy Key was the son of Elizabeth "Betsy" Larson (b. abt. 1777 in NJ, d. abt. 1850) and Dabney Center Key (b. abt. 1774, in VA.d. abt. 1855) Dabney Center and Betsy married December 22, 1800 in Henry Co. VA. Tandy was a Private in the Civil War, Company E, Stewart's Battalion. He enlisted in July of 1862.

Alabama) Peter and Lucy married January 21, 1830 in Law. Co. Alabama.

Margaret J.Templeton was the daughter of Sarah B. Gaily (b. May 26, 1812, TN, d. April 23, 1855, Lawrence Co. Alabama) and Silas A.Templeton (b. 1805, NC, d. October 30, 1836, Lawrence Co. Alabama). Silas and Sarah married February Washer in 1870 and 1880 after Martha's husband, William C. Washer, was killed in the Civil War.

Martha M. Templeton Washer was the daughter of Sarah B. Gaily (b. May 26, 1812, TN, d. April 23, 1855, Law. Co. Alabama) and Silas A.Templeton (b. 1805, NC, d. October 30, 1836, Law. Co. Alabama). Silas and Sarah married February 4, 1830 in Law. Co. Martha married William C. Washer (b. March 30, 1832). He was the son of William and Mary Washer. The marriage license of the Washers was issued in Law. Co. Ala. on the 27th day of October 1855, and they were married on the 28th of October 1855 at the home of Fed Pickens, by D.L. Dinsmore, Justice of the Peace. William C. Washer enlisted February 27, 1864 and was a Private in Company B, 1st Federal Alabama Cavalry, Roddey's Regt. in the Civil War. William C. Washer was captured by the Rebels and almost immediately shot to death by them. All this occurred near Fayetteville, N.C. about March 12, 1865, and while Washer was in the legitimate performance of his duty and obeying orders of his superior officer. He was buried there by Jno. M. Wright and Jesse Blankenship.
