Services for Maxine Boggs, 81, of 1115 Boynton Ave., Anniston, will be announced by Ervin Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Boggs died Monday at her home.
Chatman
TALLADEGA
Services for Altavis Antwon Chatman, 20, of 216 N. Spring St., Talladega, will be announced by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary.
Mr. Chatman died Monday in Talladega.
Cooper
TALLADEGA
Services for Ernest Lee Cooper, 59, of 116 Debbie St., will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Usrey Brown Service Chapel with Donald Fields officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5-6 at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooper died Monday at his home.
Survivors include three daughters, Leigh Anne Cooley and Sandra Pfaff, both of Talladega, Merry Beth Holden of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Jeffrey Cooper of Gadsden and Gary Cooper of Chattanooga; two brothers, Gerald Cooper and Roy Cooper, both of Talladega; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jay Cooley, Jared Cooley, Nicholas Vickery, Wayne Cooper, Roy Cooper Jr. and Jeremy Cooper.
Mr. Cooper, a native of Opelika, lived in Talladega most of his life.
He retired from Crown Textile Industries.
Daniels
JACKSONVILLE
Services for David W. Daniels, Sr., 56, of 110 Westpoint Drive, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Gene Bledsoe and Richie Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Daniels died Saturday at University Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his wife, Lorena Bright Daniels of Jacksonville; a daughter, Rheana Daniels Franklin of Cartersville, Ga.; a son, David W. Daniels Jr. of Jacksonville; his mother, Ruth Johnson Daniels of Jacksonville; and four grandchildren, Dana Daniels, Jenna Daniels, Chase Franklin and Christian Franklin.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Littlejohn, Cecil Marbut, Carl Wilkins, James Wilkins, Ellis Hudgins Jr. and Rod Littlejohn.
Mr. Daniels, a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, was well-known in Calhoun County as the owner of Daniel's Transfer, a moving company.
He attended Tredegar Chapel Church.
Funderburk
OXFORD
Services for Elizabeth "Bet" Funderburk, 82, of Colonial Pines Nursing Home, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home of Tallapoosa, Ga., with Rev. David Couch officiating.
Burial will be in Muscadine Cemetery in Muscadine.
Mrs. Funderburk died Sunday.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Funderburk of Fruithurst; two daughters, Frances Williams of Bremen, Ga., and Polly Stanley of Biloxi, Miss.; two sisters, Hazel Taylor of Muscadine, and Mary Edna Kilgore of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Stanley, Michael Williams, Chris Williams, Marty Funderburk, Keith Turner and Douglas Kilgore.
Mrs. Funderburk, a native of Cleburne County, lived most of her life in Muscadine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Funderburk, and a grandson, Jimmy Funderburk.
Jones
ROANOKE
Services for Sarah Jones, 84, of Roanoke, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roanoke First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tex Ergle officiating.
Burial and committal service will be at 2 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery in Auburn.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
The body will be at the church an hour before services.
Mrs. Jones died Monday at Randolph County Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Ralph Jones of Roanoke; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Beightol, Roy Reeves, Jerrell May and Gerald Knight.
Mrs. Jones, formerly of Auburn, had been a resident of Roanoke, for six years.
She was a member of Roanoke First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Russell Jones, Sr.
Nancy Etta Askew

Graveside services for Nancy Etta Askew, 81, were Saturday at White’s Gap Cemetery with the Rev. James Martin officiating and K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in charge.
Mrs. Askew died Friday in Jacksonville.
Survivors include a daughter, Kitty Askew of Jacksonville; a son, William Glenn Askew Jr., of Lincoln; two sisters, Bernice Wright of Guntersville and Maudie Cobb of Ellenwood, Ga.; a brother, Winston Snider of Jacksonville; a sister-in-law, Nell Askew of Weaver; a brother-in-law, Leonard Askew of Huntsville; two grandchildren, DeLisa Munroe of Jacksonville and Britney Askew of Lincoln; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Leahey and Melissa Leahey, both of Jacksonville.
Pallbearers were nephews, Ray Snider, Clyde Snider, David Snider, Kenneth Snider, Max Snider, Jeff Snider and James Snider.
Mrs. Askew was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Askew, Sr.; her parents, Henry Snider and Mabel Snider; five brothers, Jim Snider, Bill Snider, Lonnie Snider, Bobby Snider and Charles Snider; and a granddaughter, Dawn Michelle Lumpkin.
Turner
Services for Edward L. Turner, 75, of 775 Old Downing Mill Road will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Eden officiating.
Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Turner died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Warren of Bynum; a son, Randy Turner of Choccolocco; three sisters, Lucille Grantland of Ohatchee, Doris Diggs and Edith Meeks, both of Ranburne; two brothers, James E. Turner and Cecil Turner, both or Choccolocco; two grandchildren, Scotty Warren and Jason Turner.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Mr. Turner was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County.
He was a member of The Holley Crossroads Baptist Church in White Plains.
