CHILDERSBURG
Services for Mary Lee, 82, of 1505 Second St., SW, Childersburg, will be announced by Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary of Talladega.
Mrs. Lee died Monday.
Lloyd
Services for Dovie Poe Lloyd, 95, of 93 Virginia Ave. N., will be today at 2 p.m. at Eulaton United Methodist Church with Revs. Sam Graham and John Cosby officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be at the church an hour before services. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Lloyd died Sunday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Grace L. Gauldin of Huntsville and Geneva L. Aderholt of Anniston; two sisters, Demris Singleton of Oxford and Daphene Lee of Lincoln; a brother, Houston Poe of Lincoln; nine grandchildren, Darlene Wilmarth, Katrina Akers, James Allen Lloyd, Lisa Holtman, Frank Gauldin, Steve Gauldin, Mark Gauldin, Ron Aderholt and Jan Causey; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frank Gauldin, Steve Gauldin, Mark Gauldin, Ron Aderholt, Rick Causey, James A. Lloyd, Mike Holtman and Rick Wilmarth.
Mrs. Lloyd, a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County, was a member of Eulaton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Hampton Lloyd and a son, James A. Lloyd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eulaton United Methodist Church Sanctuary Fund or James A. Lloyd Scholarship Fund at Wellborn High School.
Moss
Services for infant Sasha Moss of 307 Mulberry Ave., Anniston, were Monday at Burt Cemetery, Talladega, with Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary in charge.
The infant died Friday at Jacksonville Hospital.
Survivors include her mother, Sheila Jackson Moss of Anniston; her father, Jerry Lee Moss of Anniston; three sisters, Kerri Moss, Candice Moss and Jamie Moss, all of Talladega; and a brother, Gerald Moss of Talladega.
Murray
WEDOWEE
Services for Joanne Putnam Murray, 75, of Wedowee, will be tonight at 8 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carlos Lamar Gentry officiating. Burial will be in Jennings, La. The family will receive friends tonight beginning at 6:30 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murray died Saturday in Calhoun County.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Murray of Wedowee; four daughters, Susan Schwartz of Houston, Michelle Coble of White House, Texas, Kelley Edwards of Wedowee and Barbara Cameron of Gulfport, Miss.; a son, Michael Putnam of Basile, La.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Schwartz, Justin Schwartz, Chris Coble, Cory Coble, Jason Richards and Todd Aucoin.
Mrs. Murray, a native of Auckland, New Zealand, had lived in Lake Charles, La., for many years prior to moving to Wedowee in 1993. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a son, Billy Putnam.
Warren
PIEDMONT
Services for James Fred Warren, 82, of Piedmont will be announced by Mickelsen-McGee Funeral Home.
Mr. Warren died Monday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Curtis H. Johnson

Services for Curtis H. Johnson, 81, were Saturday at 2 p.m. at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory, with the Revs. Terry Johnson and Larry Hughes officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Johnson died April 11 at Clay County Hospital.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Dora Sue and Clytus Angel of Jacksonville; a brother and sister-in-law James and Sarah M. Johnson of Oxford; two sisters-in-law, Mildred B. Johnson and Louise Potts, both of Jacksonville; nine nieces and nephews, Hearel Johnson, Terry Johnson, Jane Gowens, Gary Angel, Carol Hays, Mike Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Jeff Angel and Becky Craven; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers were Eddie Johnson, Derek Johnson, Jim Hays, Gary Angel, Jeff Angel, Danny Craven and Hearel Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were members of the King’s Men Sunday School Class and deacons of Angel Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a member and inactive deacon of Angel Grove Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Jacksonville State Teachers College, where he played on the basketball team. Later, he graduated from Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Johnson taught school for 35 years. He taught at Spring Garden High School and Cedar Springs Junior High School.
He retired from Oxford High School after teaching biology for 27 years.
He enjoyed gardening and was an avid supporter of the Jacksonville State University athletic program. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Johnson, and by two brothers, Burford Johnson and Doug Johnson.
