Brown
Services for Vivian A. Brown, 57, of 1210 Lawrence Drive, will be announced by Gray Brown-Services Mortuary and Crematory.
Mrs. Brown died Sunday at Regional Medical Center.

Chatman
TALLADEGA
Services for Willie Edward “Buster” Chatman, 75, of Talladega, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church with Pastor Samuel Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Sims Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Chatman died Wednesday at his residence.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Wilson of Talladega; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his companion, Corean Smith of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be his son, grandsons, and friends.

Comer
OXFORD
Services for Callie V. Comer, 102, of Oxford, will be announced by Miller Funeral Home.
Mrs. Comer died Sunday at Colonial Pines Nursing Facility.

Denny
LINEVILLE
Services for Larry Denney, 52, of Lineville, will be announced by Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville.
Mr. Denny died Sunday at Clay County Hospital.

Dimming
Services for Eric Dimming, 21, of 1536 Walnut Ave., will be announced by Anniston Funeral Services.
Mr. Dimming died Saturday at his residence.

Fincher
HEFLIN
Services for Ethel W. Fincher, 83, of Heflin, will be today at 11 a.m. at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jerry M. Prichard and Grover Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Fincher died Saturday at Cleburne County Nursing Home.
Survivors include a son, Tom Fincher of Fort Lauderdale; two daughters, Dean Lines of Heflin and Kay Crutcher of Phoenix City; three brothers, James Walker and Fornie Walker, both of Heflin, and Billy Walker of Leesburg; a sister, Opaline Roach of Whitesburg, Ga..; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Lines, Steven Lines, Bob Lines, Jimmy Lines, Willie Austin and Willard Walker.
Mrs. Fincher was a native of Cleburne County and was a resident of Fort Lauderdale for 30 years before moving back to Heflin in 1986. she was a Baptist.

Hammond
GRANITEVILLE, S.C.
Services for Rev. Franklin D. Hammond, 65, of Graniteville, S.C., will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Clearwater First Baptist Church, Clearwater, S.C., with Revs. John Bolin and Roger Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta, S.C., with Hatcher Funeral Home, Langley, S.C., in charge.
Rev. Hammond died Saturday at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Dickens Hammond of Graniteville; his mother, Bessie Mae Evans Hammond of Oxford; a son, Rev. Roger Hammond of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Melody Napier and Emily Hammond, both of Graniteville and Joy Coursey of Myrtle Beach; two stepsons, Brad Barbee of Graniteville and Clay Frost of North Augusta; two stepdaughters, Shanna Johnson of Clearwater and Heather Frost of Belvedere; a sister, Margaret Funderburg of Pell City; two brothers, Billy Hammond of Oxford and Robert Hammond of Forest Park, Ga.; and nine grandchildren.
Active and honorary pallbearers will be members of the Medium Adult Sunday school class.
Rev. Hammond was a native of Heflin and resident of Graniteville most of his life. He retired from Bobby Hydrick Mobile Homes with 12 years of service, and was a teacher and superintendent of the Clearwater First Baptist Church Sunday school. He served as pastor of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Anniston from 1961 to 1964.
Memorials may be made to Clearwater First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Drawer B, Clearwater, SC 29822.

Hilbird
Services for James “Jim” M. Hilbird, 84, of 5534 Saks Road, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Weaver Church of Christ with Dewayne McNaughton and William B. Kughn officiating. Burial will follow in Edgemont Cemetery with K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hilbird died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hilbird of Saks; a daughter, Rebecca Hilbird of Leeds; and three sisters, Diana Tharp and Rebecca Sullivan, both of Terre Haute, Ind., and Lillie Curtis of Roanoke Rapids, Va.
Pallbearers will be Jason Rainwater, Jeffery Rainwater, Pete Wilkerson, Cecil Vaughn, Lamar Rainwater and Bert Steward.
Mr. Hilbird was a native of Indiana and a resident of Calhoun County since 1957. He was retired from the United States Army and the Anniston Ordnance Depot. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Weaver Church of Christ.

Justice
TALLADEGA
Services for Clara Mae Justice, 81, of Talladega, will be announced by Sims Funeral Services.
Mrs. Justice died Friday in Columbus, Ga.

Lane
WEDOWEE
Services for James Hansel Lane, 58, of Wedowee, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with Revs. R.L. Heflin and Wayne Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Home in charge. the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Lane died Saturday at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Nobie Lane of Wedowee; his wife, Sadie Gwen Lane of California; three daughters, Wandlyn Arwine, Condra Elane Lane and Deadrie Lane, all of Rialto, Calif.; a son, James Lane Jr.; four brothers, Wilson Lane of Chicago, Rev. Wayne Lane of Buffalo, Gerry Lane of Huntsville and Keefe Lane of Woodland; four sisters, Minnie Davis and Deborah Lane, both of Chicago, and Lisa Martin and Donna Terresia Jusab, both of Huntsville; five grandchildren; and a special friend, Jo Ann Hopper of Roanoke.
Mr. Lane was a 1959 graduate of Wedowee High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a skilled auto body technician.

Lewallen
Graveside services for Suddy J. Gentry Lewallen, 28, of 914 Patterson St., Anniston, will be today at noon at Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev. Foster officiating and Anniston Funeral Service in charge.
Mrs. Lewallen died Thursday.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Lewallen of Anniston; two daughters, Keisha and Whitney Lewallen, both of Anniston; her parents, James S. and Betty Gentry of Anniston; two sisters, Patricia Ann Gentry and Emily G. Gentry, both of Anniston; and six brothers, Stoney, James Jr., Steve Wayne, Tyler Eugene, Michael Anthony and Grady Gentry, all of Anniston.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston.

Mapp
WADLEY
Services for Ernest Lee Mapp, 59, of Wadley, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Womack and Brother Shannon Mapp officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining church cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends tonight from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mapp died Sunday at Randolph County Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Reinhardt Mapp of Wadley; two daughters, Libra Mapp and Abra Mapp, both of Wadley; a son, Ernest Lee Mapp Jr. of Wadley; four sisters, Sara Norred, Hazel Owens, Letha Howard and Marie Gray all of Roanoke; five brothers, Oneal Mapp of Wedowee, Benjamin Mapp of Cusseta, Jerry Mapp of Wadley, and Billy Mapp and Joe Mapp, both of Roanoke.
Mr. Mapp was a lifelong Wadley resident. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and had been employed with Sherwood Packaging Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Rosie Lee Fincher Mapp; and a brother, Richard Mapp.

Marable
ROANOKE
Services for Rufus Marable, 76, of Roanoke, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Christian Memorial Baptist Church, Roanoke, with Revs. Tommie L. Finley and R.L. Heflin officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Clark Memorial Funeral Service in charge. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. from Christian Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Marable died Saturday at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Langdale.
Survivors include two brothers, John Marable and Joe Marable, both of Roanoke; and four sisters, Lucille Lee and Alice Allen, both of Detroit, Lois Holliday of Atlanta, and Bobbie Sanders of Louisville, Ky.
Mr. Marable was a native of Roanoke and retired from the General Motors Corporation, Pontiac division. He was a member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church.

Pettus
TALLADEGA
Services for Austin Pettus, 68, of Talladega, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Talladega Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Synder officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening from 1 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pettus died Saturday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Emily Pettus of Talladega; a son, Gregory Pettus of Alexandria, La.; three sisters, Polly Haynes of Ohatchee, Eunice Kerley of Chattanooga and Bertice Shierling of Talladega; a brother, Clarence Pettus of Talladega; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gary Pettus, Tommy Pettus, Donald Shierling, Buddy Suddeth, Tony Haynes and James Hance.
Mr. Pettus was a lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was employed at Jacksonville Housing Authority.

Proseus
Services for Clotine S. Proseus, 87, of 1800 E. 18th St., will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.
Mrs. Proseus died Sunday at Regional Medical Center.

Poe
HEFLIN
Services from Margaret Poe, 80, of Heflin, will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Mark Page officiating. Burial will follow in Forestlawn Gardens.
Mrs. Poe died Saturday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include six sons, Auburn Poe, Michael Poe, Richard Poe, and Terry Poe, all of Heflin, Harry Poe of Detroit, and Dennis Poe of Waynesville, Mo.; a daughter, Betty Todorowski of Hampshire, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Tucker, Randy Thrasher, Gary Poe, Harold Goble, Donald Payne and Virlyn Moore.
Mrs. Poe, a native of Georgia, was a resident of Cleburne County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mallory Poe.

Ringer
CEDAR BLUFF
Services for Lillian Kathleen Ringer, 83, of Cedar Bluff, will be today at 11 a.m. at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Ringer died Saturday.
Survivors include her daughter, Mariam Miller of Anniston; a sister, LaVelle Johnson of Fort Payne; and two grandchildren, Matt and Meg Miller.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Hartline, Wendell Ringer, James Edward Ringer, Jimmy Johnson, James Hartline, David Hartline and Donald Burkhalter.
Mrs. Ringer was a native of Cherokee County, a member of Cedar Bluff First United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late James Alexander and Maude Baker Hartline.
Memorials may be be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund in care of Jack Wood, Cedar Bluff, AL 35959 or the family will accept flowers.

Sebolt
Services for Judith Kay Sebolt, 57, of 3425 U.S. Hwy 78 East, Anniston, will be today at 11 a.m. at DeArmanville Baptist Church with Miller Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Sebolt died Saturday at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, William Sebolt Jr. of Anniston; a daughter, Bryan Mallard of Georgia; two sons, Kenneth Randell Kinney of North Carolina and David Alen Kinney of Florida; a sister, Connie Pardue of Kentucky; three brothers, James Wayne Vieten and Bennie Vieten, both of Florida, and Bryce Vieten Jr. of Oxford; her parents, Bryce and Bernice Vieten Sr.; five granddaughters and a grandson.
Mrs. Sebolt was a native of Missouri, a former resident of Florida and an Anniston resident for the past 16 months. She was a Presbyterian.

Wade
DELTA
Services for Clara Mae Wade, 72, of Delta, will be announced by Benefield Funeral Home, Lineville.
Mrs. Wade died Sunday at her residence.

Wells
BIRMINGHAM
Services for Louise Wells, 75, of Birmingham, formerly of Talladega, will be announced by Talladega Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wells died Sunday at Medical Center East, Birmingham.
