Anderson
ANNISTON
Services for Gertrude Elizabeth Anderson, 84, of 829 S. Hillman St., will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Glenn Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to until 8 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Pendergrass of Anniston; four grandchildren, Shirley Siskey, Sue Magouirk, Donna Drummond and Teressa Gross; eight great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Pat Siskey, Ralph Magouirk, Cecil Drummond, Steve Gross, Brandt Magouirk, Jeff Gross and Scott Magouirk.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown and Steve Sedenik.
Mrs. Anderson was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a member of Glenn Addie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Anderson.
Baker
ANNISTON
Services for Roosevelt Baker, 91, of 709 Smith St., will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. J.S. Nettles officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills cemetery with Ervin Funeral Chapel in charge. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Baker died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Baker of Anniston; a daughter, Rosa Zinnerman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be trustees of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.
Mr. Baker was a member and chairman of Deacon Board of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and Superintendent of the Sunday School.
Conaway
ANNISTON
Services for Sybil Hayes Conaway, 71, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Randy Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Conaway died Friday at her home.
Survivors include a son, Forrest Conaway of Anniston; a sister, Robbie Fletcher of Bryan, Texas; two brothers, Leonard Hayes of Anniston and Kelley Hayes of Anniston; three grandchildren, Autumn Conaway, Ashley Guess and Miranda O’Brien; and two great-grandchildren, Dawson Guess and Reed Guess.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Hayes, Phillip Guess, Gary Geier, Justin White, Josh Hubbard and Ronnie Swafford.
Mrs. Conaway was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston. She was a member of Church of the Rock in Anniston.
Dorries
ANNISTON
Services for Teresa Wilhelminia Dorries, 86, of 1319 Winter Pl., will be Monday at 2 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Lucas officiating. Burial will be in New Highland Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dorries died Saturday at Colonial Pines Health Care.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Dorries of Anniston; two sons, Charles Dorries of Huntsville and John Dorries, Jr. of Piedmont; four daughters, Beverly Ematrudo of Wallingford, Conn., Carolyn Jessop of Concord, N.C., Ellen Williamson of Kandapolis, N.C., and Ann Marie Prosek of Snellville, Ga.; three sisters, Ella Richter of Birmingham, Clara Moore Casey of Prattville, and Lucille Leathers of Cullman; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steven Dorries, Mark Ematrudo, Chris Ematrudo, Jon Jessop, Mark Jessop, Russell Jessop, Mike Actoonian, David Dorries, James Dorries, Fred Prosek, Mike Prosek, Josh Prosek.
Honorary pallbearers will be Susan Dorries, Teresa Caldwell and Anita Owens.
Mrs. Dorries was a native of Cullman County and had lived in Anniston 51 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1948.
Flack

Services for Emma A. Flack, 82, of 601 12th Ave., N.E., Jacksonville will be announced by K.L. Brown Funeral Home.
Mrs. Flack died Friday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Fordham
RANBURNE
Graveside services for infant Haleigh Christina Blair Fordham will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Happy Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev G.K. Abner officiating.
The infant died June 8 at University Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include her mother, Tina Marie Blair Fordham and her father, Allan Lloyd Fordham, both of Ranburne; two half-brothers, Stephen A. Fordham and Samuel H. Fordham, both of Ranburne; a grandfather Ricky Fordham of Montgomery; and a grandmother, Beatrice Flournoy of Ranburne.

Services for Margie Johnson Lovvorn, 84, of 29555 Highway 48, Woodland, will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Herrens Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Ridley Parmer, Ray Runyan and Paul Widener officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rainwater & West Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lovvorn died Friday at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Survivors include two daughters, Polly Harris of Woodland and Barbara Holloway of Bowdon, Ga.; a sister, Elizabeth Meadows of Woodland; 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kierbow, Mike Jackson, Steve Meadows, Ray Meadows, Morris Wesloh and Jason Lovvorn.
Mrs. Lovvorn a Randolph County native. She was a retired seamstress. She was a charter member of Herren’s Grove Baptist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Lovvorn, and her father and mother, W.F. and Agnes Smith Johnson.

Services for Sarah McMurray, 92, of Birmingham will be announced by Dryden Funeral Home of Heflin.
Newsome
JACKSONVILLE
Services for Robert Everett Newsome will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.
Mr. Newsome died Friday at Jacksonville Hospital.
Survivors include his daughter, Athena N. Willingham of Birmingham and his grandson, Sam Willingham, Jr. of Birmingham.
Mr. Newsome was a native of Talladega and lived in Anniston most of his life. He retired from A.O.D and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Robinson
PELL CITY
Services for Rolanda R. Robinson, 22, of 907 Kings Circle will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cropwell with pastors W.J. Posey and Maurine Keller officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Zion Church cemetery with Sims Funeral Service in charge.
The processional will leave 907 King’s Circle at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Robinson died Friday at University Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Ida S. Robinson of Pell City; a sister, Petra S. Robinson of Birmingham; two brothers, Xavier Robinson of Montgomery and William Robinson of Pell City; a stepsister, Sarah Parker of Pell City; three stepbrothers, Warren Frazier of Cropwell, Billy Bedford and Michael Bedford, both of Pell City; and his grandmother, Ada Mae Smoot of Goodwater.
Shadrick
TALLADEGA
Graveside services for Clarence Samuel Shadrick, 73, of 1340 Mount Olive Circle in Talladega, will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega with Rev. Bill Huffaker officiating and Usrey Brown Service funeral home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Shadrick died June 9 in El Paso, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Margarita Lozand Shadrick of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Robert Harold Shadrick of Lincoln; and a sister, Louise Nabors of Talladega.
Pallbearers will be James Lawson, Gary Hubbard, Jimmy Shadrick, Mike Shadrick and Sid Gambrell.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the American Legion, VFW, and Friends of McDonald's.
Mr. Shadrick was a native of Talladega and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Shaw

Services for Daisy Elizabetha Shaw, 77, of 1222 Brown Ave. will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with J. E. Merriweather officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hill cemetery with Ervin Funeral Chapel in charge.
Mrs. Shaw died Wednesday at her home.
Survivors include two sons, Charles A. Harris of Los Angeles, Calif., and Monchef C. Shaw, Jr. of Anniston; a brother, Charles E. Davis of Anniston; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be deacons and friends of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Shaw was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and of the Senior Usher Board.
Webb
ANNISTON
Services for Frankie B. Webb, 82, of 500 Hillyer High Road will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church with Dr. Craig Childs officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory in charge.
Mrs. Webb died Friday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Leon Webb of Anniston; a son, Donald G. Webb of Anniston; two sisters, Eva May Nixon of Birmingham and Ellen Inez Cork of Anniston; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be elders of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Webb was a native of Birmingham and had lived in Anniston 55 years. She was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church.
