Choccolocco - Funeral services for Gwendolyn Teague, 58, of Choccolocco, Ala., will be announced by Goodson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Teague died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Stringfellow Hospital.
WELCH
Anniston - Services for Ms. Elizabeth Ann Streeter Welch, of Anniston, Ala., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Anniston Funeral Service Chapel in Anniston, with the Rev. Jeffery Williams, officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Hills Cemetery in Anniston with Anniston Funeral Services in charge. The body will be at the chapel until time of services.
Mrs. Welch passed away Friday, May 12, 2006 at Stringfellow Hospital in Anniston, Alabama.
Survivors include one son, Anthjuan (Randy Bowens); one daughter, Anthjuanese Koley Christopher; her grandchildren, Aaliyah Hendricks, Monterria Young and Moniya Montgomery; sister and brothers, Debyie Streeter, James Streeter, Alphonso Streeter, Willie Streeter, Frank Streeter, Jr., Willie James Mitchell and Rodney Lee, Sr.
Ms. Streeter was an Alabama native and graduated from East High School in Rochester, N.Y., in 1984 and worked at Regional Medical Center as a registered phelebotomist.
The family will accept flowers.

ARMSTRONG
Jacksonville - Celeste Elizabeth Rush Armstrong, formerly of Mobile, died Friday, May 12, 2006 at The Meadows Assisted Living Facility in Jacksonville, Alabama. She was 96 years old and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 7 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oyer Armstrong. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the first graduating class of Murphy High School in 1927. Her parents were Arthur and Sarah Rush. She was a member of Jacksonville First United Methodist Church, the Bonnie Blue Flag Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Mobile Woman's Club, the Fowl River Garden Club, and the Springhill Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was formerly a member of Kingswood Methodist Church in Mobile.
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her son, Dr. Richard Armstrong and his wife, Diane, of Jacksonville; one sister Kathleen McDonald, of Mobile; three grandsons, Richard, Ross (Susan), and David (Jessica) Armstrong; and great-grandchildren, Laura, Ross, Harrison, Hayden, Harper, and Haley Armstrong. Visitation for Mrs. Armstrong will begin today at noon at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. A graveside service will then be at in Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Talladega - Funeral services for Mr. Kirby Ray Boyd, 66, of Talladega, Ala., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Benefield Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m.
MARTIN
Anniston - Funeral services for Ellen "Granny" Martin, 82, of Anniston, Ala., will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Ohatchee. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Martin died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Jacksonville Health & Rehab.
Survivors include three sisters, Jimmie Faye Johnson, of Anniston, Ruby Harris, of Tyler, Texas, and Cloe Harper, of Orlando, Fla.; brother, Bobby Champion, of Anniston; seven grandchildren, Angie Huckeba, Deanna Baldwin, Blake Rockmart, Billy Rockmart, Bonnie Grimes, Pam Hoover and Denise Hoover; six great-grandchildren, Dawn Murray, Daisy Adams, Cody Huckeba, T.J. Kelley, Charles Rockmart, and Reggie Moore; three great-great-grandchildren, Tyler Murray, Alex Murray, and Chance Adams.
Pallbearers will be Blake Rockmart, John Murray, Danny Baldwin, Art Jennings, Robby Champion, Michael Stellos, Russell Davis, and Mickey Luckado. Mrs. Martin was a native and life long resident of Calhoun County and a member of Norwood Baptist Church. Special thanks to Jacksonville Rehab Center, Comfort Care Hospice and Darrin Wells. Hobson City - Funeral services for Katie "Vicky" Rowe, 55, of Hobson City, Ala., will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at New Hope Baptist Church in Hobson City with the Rev. Judge Stringer officiating. Burial will be in Jennifer Cemetery in Munford with Anniston Funeral Services in charge. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Rowe died Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include one son, Tracy Cunningham Rowe, Hobson City; two sisters, Kathy Allen, Eastaboga, and Mary Fields, Hobson City; two brothers, Jimmy Cunningham, Atlanta, Ga., and Jerry Cunningham, of Eastaboga; mother, Gladys Cunningham, also of Eastaboga.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Mrs. Rowe was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Anniston - Memorial services for Donald Edward “Eddie” Watson, 52 of Anniston will be Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. at Ohatchee Church of Christ. Mr. Watson passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at his home. He is survived by two daughters, Melinda Holcomb and Christy Howell, both of Anniston; one sister, Lisa Bramlett, of Piedmont; two brothers, George Bramlett and David Scott Bramlett, both of Anniston; his father, David Bramlett, of Anniston; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Bramlett. Special thanks are extended to the employees of Coosa Valley Youth Services, Triplett Paint & Decorating and Miller Funeral Home.

Services for Ricky L. Brown, 50, of Alexandria were at 2 p.m. April 29 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Bruce White officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died April 26 at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his companion, Melissa Dothard Brown; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Theresa Brown of Jacksonville; his step-daughter, Sara Harris of Alexandria; his parents, Rev. Buel and Mary Ann Brown of Alexandria; his sister and brother-in-law, Sara Ann and Charlie Header of Alexandria; his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Sharon Brown of Alexandria; two grandchildren, Brianna Garmon and Raynah Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brett Alward, Bo Vinson, Calvin Barksdale, Bobby Garmon, Mike Wilburn and Mack Header.
Mr. Brown was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of St. Michaels and All Angels Church.
He was a veteran of the Navy and served during the Vietnam Era. He was also a member of the Amateur Ham Radio Club. He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Lynn Brown.
