Services for Sherryl Dianne Johnson, 56, were at 11 a.m. Jan. 25 at Angel Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Stan Broom and Eugene Burgess officiating. Burial was in Seven Springs Cemetery with K. L. Brown Funeral Home in charge.
Ms. Johnson died Jan. 23 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.
Survivors include her mother, Pauline Angel Johnson of Jacksonville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen Lamar Sr. and Candace Johnson of Greer, S. C., and Thomas Ross and Debi Johnson of Jacksonville; a niece and her husband, Emi (Johnson) and Jonathan Burton of Birmingham,; two nephews, Stephen L. Johnson and his wife, Gina, and Ben Johnson, all of Jacksonville, and two great-nephews, Ethan Johnson and Zeke Johnson of Jacksonville.
Pallbearers were Roger Angel, Gary Angel, Jeff Angel, Larry Angel, Denny Noah, Randy Harcrow and Rick Angel.
Ms. Johnson was a devoted Christian, a member of Angel Grove Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She taught the Beginners Sunday School Class and served as church secretary.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Clayton Johnson; her grandparents, Tom and Ethel Angel and Elbert and Martha Johnson; and a nephew, Thomas Ross Johnson Jr.
MOUCHKA

Services for Christy Lynn Carter Mouchka, 34, were at 4 p.m. Jan. 25 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Anniston with Margaret Eubanks and Revs. Larry Hughes and Mike Owens officiating.
Mrs. Mouchka died Jan. 23 in Cherokee County.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Douglas Mouchka; a son, Micah D. Mouchka, of Jacksonville; and her parents, Eddie and Joy Carter of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Mouchka, a Calhoun County native and lifelong resident, was a born again Christian.
Because of her love for helping others, she was a social worker by profession and was employed at Cherokee County Nursing House.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Carter, and her grandparents, Charlie and Myrtle Cottle and Herbert and Mildred K. Carter.
Memorials may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Center.
WILLIAMS

Episcopal services for Mark Kevin Williams, 45, were at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at First Baptist Church of Williams with Rev. John W. Cruse officiating. Burial was in Williams Cemetery. K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams died Jan. 22 in Calhoun County.
Survivors include his parents, J. Fred and Doris V. Williams of the Williams community; a son, Ian Fitzpatrick of Boston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Christopher Alan and Lisa Williams of New Albany, Ind., and Gregory Scott and Deborah J. Williams of Louisville, Ky.; two nieces, Austin and Brittany Williams, and three nephews, Sean, Adam and Ryan Williams.
Pallbearers were Bill Marty, Bob Pine, Ed Owens, Stephen P. Seibert, Steve Green, Wayne Reeves, Sean Williams and Dick Berry.
An Episcopalian, Mr. Williams was self-employed and was an avid motorcyclist. He had lived in Calhoun County for the past two years. He was an F-15 mechanic during his enlistment in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Irene Vermeulen and Fred and Dora Williams.

HOLLIDAY

Services for George Lewis Holliday, 14, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
The youth died Dec. 22 at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his mother, Venus Cooper of Jacksonville; his adopted father, Robert Peter Senin of Philadelphia; a sister, Gabrielle Jakiel of Anniston; and his grandparents, Betty Cooper of Jacksonville and Pete and Judy Senin of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers were Roger Cooper, Wesley Brown, Trenton Brown, Romaine Paige, Robert Brown and Chris Cooper.
The youth was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun Count. He attended West Side Baptist Church and was a seventh grade stuent at Jacksonville High School.
KERR

Services for Marvin Duel Farm Kerr, 77, of Talbotton, Ga., formerly of Cherokee County, Alabama, were at 10 a.m. EST Dec. 22 at Geneva Baptist Church in Talbotton and at 2 p.m. CST Dec. 22 at New Nazareth Baptist Church in Cherokee County with Rev. Hoover Crider officiating. Burial was in New Nazareth Cemetery with Perry Funeral Home of Centre in charge.
Mr. Kerr died Dec. 18 in Beuna Vista, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Berma Lee Murphree Kerr; a daughter, Judy McGarrah of Tyrone, Ga.; three sons, Donnie Kerr of Anchorage, Alaska, Timothy Kerr of Cartersville, Ga., and Jeff Kerr of Geneva, Ga.; two sisters, Edna Jo Jennings of Centre and Claudette Ledbetter of Jacksonville; five brothers, Doyle Kerr, Norvle Hugh Kerr and Norman “Pap” Kerr, all of Centre, Lloyd Kerr of Rome, Ga., and Sam Kerr of Cave Spring, Ga.; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Lamar Montgomery, Clinton Crider, Joe Vann Kiser, Larry Kerr, Kenneth McKenzie and Charles Ollis.
Mr. Kerr was a Cherokee County native. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. and Mandy Esther Abernathy Kerr.
KING

Services for Joan Taylor King, 83, of Anniston, were at 3 p.m. Dec. 27 at Church of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal, with Rev. Bruce White officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
Mrs. King died Dec. 23 in Atlanta.
Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Wendy Fredell of Beaufort, S. C., Joanne and Tommy Pope of Jacksonville and Nancy McDonald of Atlanta; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom C. King III of Mystic, Conn., and Clifton Taylor and Penny King of Georgetown, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nancy Taylor Berry and Kathleen Taylor Berry and David Joyner of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Thomas Lars Fredell and his wife, Susan, Markus Alexander Fredell, Alexander Patrick Fredell, Andrew Thomas Monk, Nicholas Taylor Pope, Shelby Flannagan Pope, Christopher Taylor Melville, Rueben King, and Arwen King; and two great-grandchildren, Torrance Fredell and Annika Fredell.
Pallbearers were Thomas Lars Fredell, Andrew Thomas Monk, Nicholas Taylor Pope, Alexander Patrick Fredell, Christopher Taylor Melville and Jerald Lamar King.
Mrs. King, a Pittsburgh, Pa., native, lived in Anniston most of her life. She attended John Heron Art Institute in Pittsburgh, served as a member of the Stringfellow Memorial Hospital Board, was a Vestry Member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church and was involved with the Knox Concert Series.
She was a member of the Wednesday Study Club, Domino’s Supper Club, Sewing Club and Anniston Garden Guild.
She was an avid gardener of roses, many of which Anniston residents used in wedding flower arrangements.
