Services for James Eugene “Gene” Hedgepath, 76, were at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. Billy Hedgepath officiating. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
Mr. Hedgepath died Sept. 29 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Betty Pittman Hedgepath; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Felicia Hedgepath of Wellington; a sister and brother-in-law, Adelia and H. R. Curry of Jacksonville; and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Anita Hedgepath of Anniston; and two grandchildren, Tiffany Hedgepath and Morgan Hedgepath.
Pallbearers were Temp Beal, David Hedgepath Sr., Charles Hill, Mike Waler, John Ward and Scott Ward.
Mr. Hedgepath, a Jacksonville native and lifelong resident, worked construction most of his life. He enjoyed gardening.
JENKINS

Services for Horace Albert Jenkins, 29, will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center chapel with Rev. Dewayne Borders and Bryan Maye officiating. Burial will be in Green lawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Jenkins died Oct. 1 in Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife, Franchasta C. Jenkins; a daughter, Alyssa Jenkins of Jacksonville; a son, Gaebril Jenkins of Jacksonville; his parents, Horace Junior Jenkins and Deborah Day and her husband, Michael, all of Jacksonville; a brother, Rodney Jenkins of Jacksonville; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Freeman and Ruby Miller.
Pallbearers will be Brad Parker, Dave Washington, Marty McCloud, Scott Jennings, Doug Smith and Bryan Maye.
Mr. Jenkins, a Montgomery native and longtime Jacksonville resident, was a self-employed brick mason. He had served in the Navy.

Services for Cleo Troup, 90, were at 11 a.m. Oct. 6 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center chapel with Dr. Daryl Wood and Carter Jones officiating. Burial was in Post Oak Springs Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Troup died Oct. 2 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce McGinnis Troup; a daughter, Sue Troup of Pawley’s Island, S. C.; two sons, Larry H. Troup of Oxford and David A. Troup of Jacksonville; and eight grandchildren, James “Beau” Gornto, Brian Gornto, Lisa Clark, Will Clark, Jason Troup, Jarrod Troup, Lacey Rogers and Adam Daniel.
Pallbearers were Brian Gornto, Jason Troup, Jarrod Troup, Adam Daniel, Frank Mitchell Troup, Donald McGinnis and Tommy Nance.
Mr. Troup, a Marshall County native and longtime Calhoun County resident, was a member of Post Oak Springs Baptist Church. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara “Bobbie” T. Clark.
YEVICK

Services for Patricia Marie Yevick, 61, were at 11 a.m. Oct. 2 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. James Martin officiating. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Yevick died Sept. 30 at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Sonnie Yevick; two sons and daughters-in-law, Myron Scott and Sherrie Ford of Piedmont and Gregory Kent and Kim Ford of Arab; two sisters, Carol Bryant and Debra Staggs, both of Jacksonville; three brothers, David DuHon of Jacksonville, Kenneth DuHon of Heflin and Rodney DuHon of Rainsville; and five grandchildren, Amanda Brook Ford, Jessica Ford, Megan Ford, Hayden Ford and Jacob Ford.
Pallbearers were Shane Bryant Chad Bryant, Andrew DuHon, Toby Bryant, Jonathon Brocksmith and Kyle Bryant.
Mrs. Yevick was a Calhoun County native. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 57. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bee “Bill” and Gladys Turner DuHon.
ARTMAN

Services for Earl L. Artman, 73, were at 2 p.m. Nov. 7 at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Goldman officiating. Burial was in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Artman died Nov. 5 at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Artman; a son, George Artman of Alexandria; a sister, Katherine Sabasic of Sharpsville, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Chelsea Artman.
Mr. Artman retired from the Army with 20 years service. He also retired as a security guard.
BARNWELL

Services for infant Hunter Grant Barnwell, 1 day old, were at 2 p.m. Nov. 6 at Antioch Baptist Church in Oxford with Rev. Rodney Moore officiating. Burial was in Antioch Baptist Cemetery with K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center in charge.
The infant died Nov. 1 at University Hospital in Birmingham.
Survivors include his parents, Rickey Barnwell and Brittnee Dumire of Jacksonville; his grandparents, Timothy Dumire of North Carolina, Crystal Moore of Munford and Tommy and Debbie Heard of Jacksonville; his great-grandparents, Faye and Virgil Waldrop, Dot and Earl Dumire, and Earnest and Grandma Dumire, and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers were Timothy Dumire and Gene Heard.
