Services for James Buford “Boots” Hill, 74, of Cullman were at 2 p.m. June 17 at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Hollis officiating, assisted by Dr. Clyne Adams. Burial followed in Cullman City Cemetery. Moss-Service Funeral Home of Cullman was in charge.
Mr. Hill died June 15 at a Cullman area hospital.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Charley Duncan of Millbrook and Amy and Bruce Farr of Cullman; three sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Teresa Hill of Hoover, Jim and Ann Hill of Kennesaw, Ga., and Jeff and Jennifer Hill of Cullman; his former wife, Sue Hill of Cullman; three sisters, Mattieleen Todd of Jacksonville, Catherine Britt of Athens and Maudine Bitchfield of Jonesboro, Ga.; four brothers, Elvin Hill of Columbiana, Roy Hill of Cullman and Charles Hill and Jerry Hill of Lineville; and five grandchildren, Susan Marie Duncan, John Hill and Jesse, Jake and Joey Thompson.
Mr. Hill was the son of the late William Jeff Hill and Pearl Humphries. He was employed as a realtor and general contractor.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cullman City School System.
HOGAN

Graveside services for Bob E. Hogan, 65, of Harrison, Tenn., were at 11 a.m. June 19 at Harrison Cemetery, with Rev. Donnie Holder officiating.
Mr. Hogan died June 17 at his home after a long illness.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Hogan Griffey of Jacksonville; a son, Mike Hogan of Harrison; three sisters, Mary Cagle, Betty Prichard and Judy Coleman all of Harrison; two brothers, Bud Hogan of Birchwood and Benny Hogan of Chattanooga; five grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Griffey, Amanda, Jami and Willie Hogan; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Matthew Griffey, Mike Coleman, Steven Hogan, Bryan and Darrell Pritchard, and Danny Coleman. Honorary pallbearers were Don Swofford, Willie Hogan, Tommy Wilson, Larry Watson, Charlie Gentry and Frankie Ray.
Mr. Hogan enjoyed fishing. He retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a painter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Perkins Hogan; his parents, Jesse and Martha Hogan, and two brothers, Joe Hogan and Johnny Hogan.
INGRAM

Services for Gloria Lou Murray Ingram, 74, were at 11 a.m. June 21 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Ingram died June 18 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Marilyn Ingram, Johnny and Paul Ingram and Mark Ingram, all of Jacksonville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara and Onzie Magouyrk of Anniston and Rilla Wheeler, Mae and Garron Smith and Patricia and Donald Jones, all of Jacksonville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Eleanor Murray of Anniston and Junior and Betty Murray of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Walter Ingram, Katrina Lipscomb, Christie Thornton and Kaylee Ingram; and four great-grandchildren, Wilson Lipscomb, Wyatt Ingram, Quinton Thornton and Travis Thornton.
Pallbearers were Randy Hicks, Walter Ingram, Tony Jones, Chad Lipscomb, Clay Smith and Adam Thornton.
Mrs. Ingram was a Jacksonville native. She was secretary of her family-owned business, Ingram Floor Covering. She enjoyed Jacksonville State University football games.
MORGAN

Services for Annie W. Morgan, 81, were at noon June 19 at St. Paul CME Church with Marcus Cooper officiating. Burial was in Jacksonville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan died June 13 at Talladega Health Care.
Survivors include eight step-sons, Clarence Morgan of Auburn, Joel Morgan of Miami, Robert Morgan of California, Charles Morgan of Milwaukee, Sep Morgan of Abilene, Texas, Lonnie Morgan and Billie Morgan, both of Piedmont, and Elous Morgan of Indiana; two step-daughters, Geraldine M. Millener of Los Angeles and Marva M. Grimes of Durham, N. C.; a sister, Mae Ola English of Talladega; and her caregivers, Essie M. Carr and Melvin Hutchinson, both of Anniston.
Pallbearers were nephews and stepsons.
Mrs. Morgan, a lifelong Alabama resident, was a member of St. Paul CME Church. She was preceded in death by nine brothers, a sister, and a step-son, Marcus Morgan.
WESTBROOK

Services for William Pelham Westbrook, 63, of Piedmont, were at 2 p.m. June 20 at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial was in Littlejohn Cemetery.
Mr. Westbrook died June 17 at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Westbrook; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and James Massey of Piedmont and Kim and Ronnie Smith of Alexander City; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Cindy Bradley of Seffner, Fla., Phillip Westbrook of Lakeland, Fla., and Charles and Zelma Pitts of Tupelo, Miss.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Johnnie Gail Westbrook and Walter and Janice Westbrook, all of Piedmont; nine grandchildren Clayton Crenshaw, Jessica Driggers, Amanda Smith, Evelyn Bradley, David Bradley Jr., Craig Bradley, Diedra Massey, Joey Driggers and Britney Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Grimes, George David, Kerri Jackson, Jimmy Westbrook, Clayton Crenshaw, Craig Bradley, Joey Driggers and Jackie Knighten.
Mr. Westbrook, a Piedmont native, had lived in Tampa, Fla., for 32 years before returning to Piedmont. He was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. He retired as the owner of Westbrook Grading. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Westbrook; his parents, Fanton and Alpha Westbrook; and a sister, Pauline Grimes.

Services for Avery N. Hall, 74, of Anniston, were at 11 a.m. Aug. 14 at Golden Springs Baptist Church. Dr. Roland Brown officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens. Brown and Kughn Memory Chapel was in charge.
Mr. Hall died Aug. 11 in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Tompkins Hall of Anniston; a daughter, Diana McElwee of Douglasville, Ga.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Margaret Hall of Oxford, Tommy and Vicki of Ramseur, N. C., and Alan and Jacquelin of Panama City, Fla.; a sister, Dot Reaves of Anniston; a brother, Robert E. Hall of Houston; eight grandchildren, Christopher Hall, Anna Hall Voltz, Mallory Hall, Leslie Hall, Lauren Hall, Daniel McElwee, Andrew Hall and Jeremy Hall, and a great-grandchild, Casey Hall.
Pallbearers were Christopher Hall, Daniel McElwee, Gordon Crocker, Mark Volz, Ray Murphy and Ronald Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers were deacons and members of the Fishermen Sunday School Class of Golden Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Hall was a native of Calhoun County. He graduated from Auburn University in 1957.He specialized in bridge design for the Georgia Highway Department for eight years. He worked at Fort McClellan for eight years, where he was chief of Buildings and Grounds.
He retired from Anniston Army Depot with 16 years of service. He was a member of the Georgia and Alabama Society of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
He was a member and deacon of the Golden Springs Baptist Church and the Fishermen Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Minnie Hall of Jacksonville, and his step-mother, Willie Sieber Hall.
