DOUBLE SPRINGS – Services for James L. "Jimmy" Ingram, 66, of Double Springs will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory.
Mr. Ingram died Friday in Double Springs.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Ingram of Double Springs; three sons, Scott Ingram, Marc Ingram and Jimmy Ingram, all of Double Springs; a daughter, Tracy Sanford of Double Springs; a brother, Ray Ingram of Double Springs; five sisters, Bonnie Day of Anniston, Delilah Woods of Jasper, Doris Williamson and Gwen Adams, both of Double Springs, and Rhonda Ingram of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ingram was a native of Clay County, and grew up near Delta. He was an Air Force veteran.
Kennedy

CHOCCOLOCCO – Services for William "Coach" Kennedy, 52, of Choccolocco will be 2 p.m. Monday at 17th Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. N.Q. Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Ervin Funeral Chapel in charge. The body will be at the church for one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends 2-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and 8 a.m.-noon Monday.
Mr. Kennedy died Tuesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kennedy of Choccolocco; two sons, William C. Kennedy and Brandon White, both of Choccolocco; two daughters, Vannette Kai Kennedy of Richmond, Va., and Natasha Carlisle and her husband, Markise, of Anniston; a sister, Frances A. Kennedy of Atlanta; his mother, Vola D. Kennedy of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Marquel Carlisle, Malcolm Carlisle and Malik Carlisle.
Mr. Kennedy was head coach of the Anniston High School girls’ basketball team. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Kennedy Sr.
Morrison

Services for Ralph E. Morrison, 77, of Anniston, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens with Anniston Memorial Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 5-8 tonight at the church.
Mr. Morrison died Friday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Lula "Judy" Morrison of Anniston; three daughters, Jane Courington and her husband, David, Donnette Odom and her husband, Doug, all of Cordova, and Debbie Heath and her husband, David, of Atlanta; three sons, Pete Morrison and his wife, Boots, of Abel, Barry Fondren and his wife, Louise, of Anniston, Stanley Fondren and his wife, Debra, of Anniston; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jewel O’Brien of Anniston.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Parker, Morris Parker, Jerry Morrison, Gene Morrison, Nathan Durham, Terry Ponder, Bill Sams and Roger Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be The Encouragement Sunday School Class.
Mr. Morrison was a Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from the Anniston Army Depot. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Fondren, his sister, Margaret Parker, and three brothers, Bud Morrison, Alvin Bennett and Ross Bennett.
The family suggests memorials to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund or the church’s men’s ministry.

Services for Shela Jean Phillips Parish, 39, of Anniston will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gray Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Methodist Cemetery in Wellington. The family will receive friends 6-8 Tuesday night at the funeral home.
Mrs. Parish died Friday in Anniston.

CENTRE – Services for Elna Edith Ransum, 75, of Centre will be 3:30 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jim Wright and Melvyn Salter officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Mrs. Ransum died Friday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include four sons, Terrell Ransum and his wife, Paulett and Brent Ransum and his wife, Kay, all of Leesburg, Michael Ransum and his wife, Marian, of Boaz, and Neil Ransum of Centre; two sisters, Lora Day and Lillian Day, both of Florida; six grandchildren, Stacy Bolton, Sandy Pentecost, Lee Ransum, Lanny Ransum, Katy Moore and Deanda Cleghorn; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ransum was a native of Cherokee County, daughter of the late John and Rachel Peace Estes. She was a member of Centre First Baptist Church and was retired from the Cherokee County Extension office. She was preceded in death by her husband Voyd "Fuzzy" Ransum and a sister, Iva Whatley.

ROANOKE, Va. – Services for Alex Franklin Thomas, 40, of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Oxford, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Angel officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas died Friday at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia.
Survivors include a daughter, Leslie K. Thomas of Oxford; his father, Robert A. Thomas of Anniston; his mother and stepfather, Emma L. Bonds and Perry Bonds of Oxford; a brother, Alan C. Thomas of Chandler Springs; two stepbrothers, Alan Hanvey of Frankfort, Ky., and Tony Hanvey of Alexandria, Va.; a grandmother, Maud Howse of Grayling, Mich.; a caregiver, Jeff Kline of Roanoke, Va.; and a nephew.
Pallbearers will be Jason Thomas, Paul Bonds, Keith Prater, Wayne Faulkner, Chris Stansell and Glenn Bonds.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Oxford and a resident of Roanoke, Va. He was employed by Chart One at Lou Scales Armstrong Hospital. He attended Oxford High School and was a graduate of the National College of Business and Technology in Salem, Va. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Gladys Thomas, and his grandparents, Ben Prater, Amy Prater and Alex J. Thomas.
