McDONOUGH, Ga. – Services for Randy Wain Sims, 48, of McDonough, Ga. will be noon Saturday at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Roanoke with Revs. William Phillips, Jeffery D. Rosser and Tommie L. Finley officiating. Burial will be in Finley Cemetery in Lafayette. The family will receive friends 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday at Clark Memorial Funeral Service. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Sims died Monday at Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sims; four daughters, Kenyetta Sims of Norcross, Ga., Sonya Sims of College Park, Ga., Quadilynn Sims of Decatur, Ga. and Brittney Bessillieu of McDonough; three sons, Randy Sims Jr. and Christopher Sims, both of Atlanta, and Brandon Bessillieu of McDonough; and a sister-in-law, Dice Sims of Roanoke.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Annie Bell Morgan-Sims; and a brother, Sandy Sims Sr.
Skinner

FRUITHURST – Services for Ivan Carlton Skinner, 61, of Fruithurst will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Upper Cane Creek with Revs. Chris Connell and James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Upper Cane Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Dryden Funeral Home in Heflin. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Skinner died Monday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Skinner; three sisters, Dot Skinner and Ruth Pudder, both of Fruithurst, and Irene Kiker of Muscadine; and two brothers, Royce "Bud" Skinner and Ronald "Pete" Skinner, both of Fruithurst.
Pallbearers will be Warren Skinner, Wade Skinner, Ethan Skinner, Terry Hulsey, Tony Hulsey and Tracy Hulsey.
Mr. Skinner, a lifelong Cleburne County resident, owned Skinner Appliance Repair in Fruithurst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Lonas Skinner; and a brother, Rev. John Skinner.

ROANOKE – Services for Thomas L. Smith, 71, of Roanoke will be announced by Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Montgomery.

Mrs. Stephens died Monday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Taylor

TALLADEGA – Services for Joseph W. "Jodie" Taylor, 94, of Talladega will be 2 p.m. today at Talladega Funeral Home with Revs. Bill Goodwin and Finley Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
Mr. Taylor died Monday at Talladega HealthCare.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Mary Baggett of Talladega, Ann Humphrys of Mobile and Glenda Curtner of Lake Charles, La.; a son, W.L. Taylor of Lincoln; and a grandson, Buron Taylor.
Pallbearers will be deacons of the Lincoln Baptist Church.
Mr. Taylor, a Talladega County native and lifelong resident, was a member of the Lincoln Baptist Church. He retired as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyda Taylor.

TALLADEGA – Services for infant LaRyine A.S. Truss of Talladega will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Terry’s Metropolitan Mortuary with Rev. Chris McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Rushing Springs Cemetery.
The infant died Friday at Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include his parents, Cassandra Roshell Truss and Jeramy E. Cunningham, both of Talladega; and his grandparents, Victoria Truss Chatman, Lovell Chatman Jr., Walter Lee McKenzie and Valarie Cunningham, all of Talladega.

TALLADEGA – Graveside services for Henry Blackburn, 83, of Talladega will be 3 p.m. today at Cemetery Mountain Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Pettus officiating and Usrey Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Blackburn died Tuesday at Talladega Health Care Center.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jones Blackburn; four sons, Rodney Blackburn and his wife, Martha, Butch Blackburn and his wife, Renae, and Jeff Blackburn, all of Talladega, and Stanley Blackburn and his wife, Lisa, of Munford; a sister, Helen B. Hudgins of Talladega; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Blackburn, Stanley Blackburn, Butch Blackburn, Jeff Blackburn, Rod Blackburn and Johnny Blackburn.
Mr. Blackburn, a Talladega County native and lifelong resident, was a member of Ironaton Baptist Church. He retired from the Talladega County Road Department.

Mrs. Estes died Tuesday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Beamon Estes; a son, Keith Estes of Hokes Bluff; a daughter and her husband, Nancy and Larry Butler of Sardis; five sisters, Canolia Bone and Clara Haynes, both of Glencoe, Virginia Womack of Daytona, Fla., Naomi Reeves of Albertville and Toal Reed of Hokes Bluff; four grandchildren, Penny Smith and her husband, Steve, Larry Butler Jr., Shannon Estes and David Estes; four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Estes, a Cherokee County native, was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers, King Benefield, Bob Benefield and Rueben Benefield.
