Johnson

Services for Willie Clyde Johnson, 67, of Anniston will be noon Wednesday at Anniston Funeral Service with Rev. P.Q. English officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home an hour prior to service.

Mr. Johnson died Friday at his home.

Survivors include two daughters, Janice Calhoun of Atlanta and Sharn Dennard of Anniston; a brother, James Calvin Johnson of Anniston; his mother, Vivian Morris; three grandchildren, Jessica Calhoun, James Calhoun and Shajuana Dennard; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Mr. Johnson was a lifelong Anniston resident.

Lipham

ROANOKE -- Services for Rosa Mae Lipham, 93, of Roanoke, formerly of Wedowee, will be announced by Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee.

Miss Lipham died Monday at Randolph Health Care in Roanoke.

Livingston

Services for Cecil D. Livingston, 82, of Anniston will be announced by Brown & Kughn Memory Chapel.

Mr. Livingston died Monday in Anniston.

Pyle
08-10-2004

Graveside services for Adell Lindley Pyle, 78, of Anniston will be 2 p.m. today at Forestlawn Gardens with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating. The family will receive friends 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.

Mrs. Pyle died Saturday in Anniston.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Pyle; a son, Terry Pyle of Anniston; and two sisters, Estell Ledbetter of Anniston and Vera Mitchell of Wedowee.

Mrs. Pyle, a Randolph County native, had lived in Calhoun County the past 54 years. She retired as manager of Qwik Shops Groceries. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Jane and Jack Lindley; a brother, Roy Lindley; and two sisters, Zadie Hill and Morine Bolt.

Rizor

Services for Charlotte Irene Rizor, 64, of Anniston will be Thursday. K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Jacksonville handled arrangements.

Mrs. Rizor died Thursday at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband, Don Rizor; two sons, Kelly Rizor and W. Kolby Rizor, both of Green field, Ind.; a daughter, Sherry Jones of Indianapolis; a brother, Gene Taylor of Oldsmar, Fla.; a sister, Barbara Hankins of Lapel, Ind.; and 10 grandchildren.

Mrs. Rizor, a longtime Indianapolis resident, had lived in Anniston the past seven years. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Taylor; her mother, Mary Taylor; and a brother, Wayne Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 Chase Park South Suite 220, Birmingham, AL 35244.

Robertson

GADSDEN – Graveside services for infant Raven Izora Robertson of Gadsden will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Collier-Butler Funeral Home of Gadsden in charge.

The infant died Sunday.

Survivors include her parents, Chris and Amy Robertson, formerly of Anniston; three sisters, Ragan Cheyann Robertson, Rhianna Chree Brown and Kaitlyn Robertson; her grandparents, Carol and Rickey Smith, and Jim and Deborah Brotherington; and her great-grandfather, Albert H. Fortenberry.

Pallbearer will be David Winkles.

The infant was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Minnie Izora Fortenberry; and grandfather, John Brown.

Stinson

CENTRE – Services for Jewette Arthur Stinson, 88, of Centre will be 2 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Home with Revs. Leon Smith and John Allen officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stinson died Sunday at Cherokee County Nursing Home.

Survivors include three daughters, Joan Stansell and her husband, Glenn, of Sand Rock, Opal Silvey of Stockbridge, Ga. and Betty Hart of Birmingham; a brother, J.B. Arthur of Rossville, Ga.; a sister, Eunice Creel of Diberville, Miss.; three grandchildren, Clay Hart and his wife, Michelle, Scott Stansell and Gina Lane and her husband, Burge; and a great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Hobart Reed, Lane Stinson, Phil Stinson, Billy Stinson, Jerry Hiney, Jack Leonard and Clay Hart. Honorary pallbearers will be the Alzheimer’s Unit and Cherokee County Nursing Home Station 2 employees and the East Centre Baptist Church family.

Mrs. Stinson, a DeKalb County native, was a member of East Centre Baptist Church. She retired from the Cherokee County High School lunchroom. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton "J.C." Stinson Jr.; a son-in-law, Stanley Silvey; and two grandchildren, Jeff Silvey and Jayna Lynn Stansell.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Centre Baptist Church.

Williams

RAGLAND – Services for Josephine Hall Williams, 69, of Ragland will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bible Way Church of our Lord Jesus Christ with Elder Mitcell Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Morning Star Cemetery with Terry’s Metropolitan Mortuary of Talladega in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.

Ms. Williams died Wednesday at her home.

Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Butler of Gadsden, Katie Looney and Delphine Hall, both of Ragland; three sons, Roscoe Williams Jr. of Gadsden, Jonathan Williams and David Williams, both of Ragland; three sisters, Elder Dollie Woods of Ragland, Mae Berta Perry of Gadsden and Ethel Thomas of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Hudon Hall and Percy Hall, both of Gadsden; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

Ms. Williams was a member of Bible Way Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Hall and Katie Lanier Hall; and a sister, Catherine Thorthan.
