Services for Jesse Robert Sims, 56, of Anniston will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Blacks Chapel Methodist Church in Lineville with Rev. Jerry Willingham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary & Crematory in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Sims died Wednesday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra A. Sims; two daughters, Traci Gail Morgan of Anniston and Brandy Elaine Shears of Birmingham; two sons, Jesse Deston Sims and Christopher James Blazer, both of Anniston; two sisters, Betty Ruth Crosson of Hollis Crossroads and Mary Ann Forbus of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Willie Clarence Sims of Lincoln and Mancil Leon Sims of Oxford; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Mason, Geary Blaylock, Dennis Spivey, Charles Spivey, Winford McCormick, Lewis Hamilton, Chris Blaylock and Craig Blaylock.
Mr. Sims, a Lineville native, was employed with Lee Brass Co. and served in the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Mancil and Zelma Ruth Sims.
Smith

JACKSONVILLE – Services for Harold "Vann" Smith of Jacksonville will be 11 a.m. Friday at New Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Mathis officiating. Burial will be in Landers Cemetery in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife, Janet M. Smith; a son, Brandon Smith; two daughters, Danette Browning and Laurann Bussey; two stepsons, Todd Murdock and Chris Smith; a brother and his wife, Ralph and Nancy Smith; two sisters and their husbands, June and Ralph Haggerty, and Mary and Jimmy Tucker; and four grandchildren, Amber Bussey, David Toole, Kyle Liftwich and Jasmine Fleming.
Pallbearers will be James Batey, Donald Jones, Don Taylor, Barry Haggerty, Kevan Tucker and Tommy Smith.
Mr. Smith was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. He retired from Calhoun County Board of Education Transportation Department with 34 years service and was employed with Southland Industrial Bus Sale. He was preceded in death by his parents, E.C. Smith and Jessie Smith.
Stout

JACKSONVILLE – Memorial services for Arthur L. Stout, 69, of Jacksonville will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center chapel with Rev. Daniel Harper officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Mr. Stout died Monday at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Nettie B. Stout; a daughter, Penny L. Stout of Apopla, Fla.; three sons, Robert Stout and William D. Stout, both of Winter Park, Fla. and Bruce A. Stout of Oviedo, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Lisa Fenton of Titusville, Fla. and Lori Black of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Kenneth Stout of Salt Lake City, Utah, Delworth Stout of Phoenix, Ariz. and Dean Stout of California; and two grandchildren, Kristina Miller and Megan Mulkey.
Mr. Stout, a Hurricane, Utah, native, had lived in Jacksonville 14 years. A Navy veteran, he retired from the University Central Florida Police Department and was a member of the Police Benevolent Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Workman Stout.

Woodall

CALCIS – Services for Fernecia Ann Woodall, 44, of Calcis will be 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Canaan Baptist Church in Calcis with Pastor Willie E. Frazier officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Sims Funeral Service of Talladega in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Miss Woodall died Sunday at her home.
Survivors include her parents, James and Sarah Woodall; a sister, Arnita Woodall of Childersburg; four brothers, James Woodall Jr. of Birmingham, Richard Woodall of Alpine, Willie Woodall of Childersburg and Cleotis Woodall of Bessemer; a half-sister, Mattie Beavers of Birmingham; and her grandmother, Maggie Slaughter.
Pallbearers will be brothers.
Boyd

Services for Elma Boyd, 96, of Anniston will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Munford with Rev. Clarence Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Jenifer Cemetery in Silverun with Anniston Funeral Service in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Ms. Boyd died Sunday at her home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Boyd Edward of Covington, Ga.; and a granddaughter, Patricia Boyd-McGrew.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Ms. Boyd, a lifelong Anniston resident, was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Boyd Jones.
Capps

Services for Debbie A. Capps, 48, of Anniston will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Leatherwood Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega with Anniston Memorial Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 tonight at the church.
Mrs. Capps died Wednesday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, James C. Capps; three daughters, Bethany Kaye Capps and Tiffany D. Cooper, both of Anniston, and Jami C. St. John and her husband, Stephen J., of Ragland; a son, Cason S. Hare; two sisters, Tammy D. Cooper and Sharon Cooper, both of Anniston; and three grandchildren, Annalia B. St.John, Maxwell A. St.John and Matthew S. St.John.
Pallbearers will be Brad Williams, Craig Baird, Mike Howard, Jeff Morris, Tony Maxwell, Johnny Kelley, Ronald McCulley and Glenn Borders.
Mrs. Capps was a member and Sunday School teacher at Leatherwood Baptist Church. She was employed by Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leatherwood Baptist Church Building Fund.
Dewberry

WEDOWEE – Services for Frankie Dewberry, 48, of Wedowee will be 2 p.m. today at Mount Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Anthony Herren, Donald Spradlin and Stiles Akins officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Dewberry died Wednesday at Wedowee Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Dewberry; his mother, Maudine Dewberry of Roanoke; a daughter and her husband, Tammy and Anthony Herren of Woodland; two sons and their wives, Scott and Barbara McCain of Newell, and James and Michelle McCain of Woodland; three sisters, Shirley Rozell and Shelia Crenshaw of Woodland, and Joyce Hill of Roanoke; a brother, Billy Dewberry of Woodland; his grandmother, Inez Dewberry; and six grandchildren, Allen Herren, Allison Herren, Christopher McCain, Brooke McCain, Alanna McCain and Ashley Foster .
Pallbearers will be Michael Caldwell, Kevin Gosdin, J.C. Holloway, Teman Holloway, Daniel Holloway and Chad Adams.
Mr. Dewberry was a member of Mount Grove Baptist Church. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Wedowee Masonic Lodge 93. He was preceded in death by his father, Wyatt Dewberry; a brother, Bobby Dewberry; and his grandfather, Louis Dewberry.
