Services for James Thomas “Jim” Andrews, 73, of Sacramento, Calif., were at 11 a.m. Dec. 2 PST. Burial was in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Carmichael Calif.
Mr. Andrews died Nov. 24 at his home.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Andrews of Sacramento; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ruby Andrews, Nancy and Lendon Bonds and Billie Ruth and Bill Roberts, all of Jacksonville; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Geraldine Andrews of Arab, Earl and Margaret Andrews of Saks and Jerry Andrews of Leesburg; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Andrews of Jacksonville; six nieces, Patsy Boozer, Karen Green, Kay Elwell, Julie Johnson, Emily Osmont and Maleia Andrews; and five nephews, Rory Bonds, Mark Roberts, Greg Roberts, Dennis Andrews and Dan Andrews.
Mr. Andrews was a native of Jacksonville and a 1949 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He was retired from Sacramento Pipe and enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Andrews; his parents, Charlie and Mattie Lee (Johnson) Andrews, and a brother, Joe Andrews.
BOUTIN

Mass services for Elia Tassinari Boutin, 84, were at 11 a.m. Nov. 28 at Assumption Catholic Church in Chicopee, Mass., with Father Gerard Lafleur officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee. K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center handled local arrangements.
Mrs. Boutin died Nov. 24 at her home.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Ann and Joseph H. Doyle of Jacksonville a sister, Alice Serra of West Springfield, Mass. two grandchildren, Brian Doyle and Lauren Doyle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were George Joseph Boutin Jr., Daniel Paul Boutin, Lawrence Boutin, Ellie Serra, Corliss Boutin Brielman and Carla Pentone Gamber.
Mrs. Boutin was a native of West Springfield. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

KIKER

Services for Loyd Kiker, 48, of Piedmont were at 2 p.m. Dec. 1 in Piedmont with Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial was in Patterson Cemetery.
Mr. Kiker died Nov. 29 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Jo Johnson Kiker of Piedmont; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Joel Gladen of Piedmont; a sister and brother-in-law, Kellie and Terry Sims of Piedmont; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Debra Kiker of Piedmont, Randy and Sheila Kiker of Jacksonville and Jeff and Dennie Kiker of Ashville; and two grandsons, Daniel Gladen and Jacob Gladen.
Pallbearers were DeWayne Kiker, Nick Kiker, Craig Kiker, Jim Cain, Ricky Lane, Keith Pace, William Steed, Scott Brewster and Freddie Thornburg.
Mr. Kiker enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle. He was a native and lifelong resident of Piedmont and was a heavy equipment operator.
HOLDER

Services for Clifford L. Holder, 93, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 2 at K. L. Brown Funeral Home with Clyde Ray and Allen Webster officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Memory Gardens in Centre.
Mr. Holder died Nov. 29 at Jacksonville Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Holder; a stepson and step daughter-in-law, J. D. and Fleurette Works of Jacksonville; a stepdaughter, Joyce Guerin of Hixson, Tenn.; two brothers, Shelton Holder and Lee Holder, both of Anniston; two step-granddaughters, Dianne Bryden and Kay Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were members of Highway 9 Church of Christ.
Mr. Holder was a member of Highway 9 Church of Christ and American Legion Post 57. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
STEPHENS

Services for Catherine Stephens, 84, of Anniston, formerly of Jacksonville, were at noon at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Brown officiating. Burial was in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Stephens died Nov. 30 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law, Marynell and Charles Landrum of Pell City; Betty Sue Smith of Atlanta; Judy E. Cox of Birmingham and Debra Jean Stephens of Anniston; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry Dean Stephens of Pell City and Danny G. and Elaine Stephens of Jacksonville; a son-in-law, Jimmy Stephenson of Anniston; three sisters, Christine Haynes of Fairfax, Lavern McCollough of Lannett and Louise Self of Roanoke; a brother, Bill Earl of Lafayette; 13 grandchildren, Michael Stephenson, David Stephenson, Spencer Stephens, Jon Sosebee, Mark Smith, Bryan Smith, Nathan Smith, Lyle Stephens, Trevor Stephens, Karen Godsey, Renea Brasher, Payton Stephens and Angie Broz; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bryon Stephens, Travis Hulsey, John Durham, Ronnie Childs, Larry Stephens, Eddie McCollough and Benny Earl.
Mrs. Stephens was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hannibal Junior Stephens and her daughter, Ann Stephenson.
Brooke

JACKSONVILLE - Services for retired Army Col. Stafford Brooke Jr., 75, of Jacksonville, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville with Chaplain Tom McMinn officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery with K.L. Brown Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.
Col. Brooke died Saturday at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Emogene L. Brooke of Jacksonville; two sons, Stafford R. Brooke III and his wife Terri of La Grange, Ga. and Retired Col. J. Lynton Brooke and his wife Darlene of Peachtree City, Ga.; a daughter, Kimberly B. Sweeney and her husband, Dr. Gregory D. Sweeney, both of Ft. Mitchell, Ky.; six grandchildren, Crystal Brooke, Stafford Brooke IV, Nicholas Brooke, Kelli Brooke, Zachary Sweeney and Kaitlin Sweeney, a niece and a nephew.
Pallbearers will be members of the Army Honor Guard Unit.
Brooke, a Dalton, Ga., native, was a resident of Jacksonville for 25 years. He was a graduate of North Georgia College and Tulane University, where he earned a master’s degree in nuclear physics. He was a 30-year veteran of the Army, a graduate of the Army War College and was inducted into the Army Chemical Corps Hall of Fame. Col. Brooke was a former commandant of the Army Chemical School at Fort McClellan and a Vietnam War veteran. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit. After his military service, he served as the vice president of Jacksonville State Bank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stafford Brooke and Rosa Brooke; and a son, Dr. Wallace S. Brooke, and a sister.
