Ms. Kirksey died Sunday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Matthews

Services for Martha Kathleen Matthews, 91, of Anniston will be announced by Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.
Miss Matthews died Monday at her home.
Teague

Services for Gussie M. Teague, 65, of Anniston will be today at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Anniston with Rev. Ronnie C. Beavers officiating. Burial will be in Eden Hills Cemetery with Anniston Funeral Services in charge. The body will be at the church an hour prior to services.
Ms. Teague died Thursday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include a son, Rex Teague of Talladega; three daughters, Carolyn Teague and Yvette Thompson, both of Anniston, and Bridget Austin of Carterville, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Ms. Teague, a lifelong Anniston resident, was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie McCluney.
Wood

CARROLLTON, Ga. - Memorial services for Mack A. Wood, 69, of Carrollton, Ga., will be today at 2 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home chapel in Oxford.
Mr. Wood died Saturday at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
Barksdale

DES MOINES, Iowa - Memorial services for Bruce Daniel Barksdale, 50, of Des Moines, Iowa, will be today at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home & Crematory in Des Moines.
Mr. Barksdale died Saturday at Iowa City Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Ann Barksdale; a son, Daniel Joseph Barksdale of Elkhart, Iowa; his parents, Joseph and Virginia Barksdale of Des Moines, formerly of Anniston; and a sister and her husband, Kathryn and Christopher Cornwell of Murray, Iowa.
Mr. Barksdale was a Springfield, Ohio, native.
Bonds

TALLADEGA - Services for Edna Pearl Bonds, 68, of Talladega will be today at 1 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Arlington Heights, Ill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to services.
Mrs. Bonds died Tuesday at Baptist Montclair Medical Center in Birmingham.
Survivors include four daughters, Deborah Battles of Arlington Heights, Ill., Cynthia Kareem of Des Plaines, Ill., Roxane Bonds Martinez of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Susan Bonds of Chicago; a son, James Allen Bonds Jr. of Hainesville, Ill.; her father, George Arnold of Talladega; a sister, Betty Waites of Talladega; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Waites, Billy Waites, Rodney Waites, Jeremy Waites, James Prickett and James Haynes.
Mrs. Bonds, a Clay County native, had lived in Chicago most of her life. She was a member of God’s House for All Nations. She retired from Moore Business Products in Chicago.

LINCOLN - Services for A.C. Cole, 80, of Lincoln will be announced by Sims Funeral Service in Talladega.
Mr. Cole died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Grubb

JACKSON, Tenn. - Graveside services for Gaynell Lee Grubb, 65, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Anniston, will be today at 1 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ray Morris officiating and Gray Brown-Service Mortuary of Anniston in charge.
Ms. Grubb died Monday in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Grubb of Anniston; three sons, Mike Grubb and Eddie Grubb, both of Florida, and Jimmy Grubb of Ohatchee; her mother, Nellie Russell of Anniston; four sisters and their husbands, Judy and Howard Lambert, and Sandra and Richard Wagoner, all of Ohatchee, Brenda Butler and Willie Jones of Fort Payne, and Bonnie and Ronnie Heafner of Morgan City; and seven grandchildren.
Ms. Grubb had lived in the Anniston area most of her life. She was a Seventh Day Adventist. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Hayes.
Hale

Services for Ruth Evelyn Hale, 73, of Anniston will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at K.L. Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Center chapel with Rev. W.P. "Buddy" Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Green lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 tonight.
Mrs. Hale died Monday at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Preston L. Hale; three sisters-in-law, Ruth H. Jenkins of Anniston, June Hosmer and her husband, Carlton, of Huntsville, and Joyce Koerner and her husband, Gerald, of St. Marys, Ga.; five nieces; and seven nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. Hale was a member of First Baptist Church of Anniston.
