VASSALBORO, Maine Graveside services for Patricia Kay Blubaugh, 65, of Vassalboro, Maine, formerly of Anniston, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Village Cemetery in Vassalboro. The family will receive friends at Plummer Funeral Home, Windsor Chapel in Windsor, Maine, 9-10:30 a.m. Monday.
Ms. Blubaugh died Wednesday at Maine General Medical Center in Waterville, Maine.
Survivors include three sons, Daryl Porter and his wife, Judy, of Oxford, David Porter and his wife, Debbie, of Vassalboro, and Dennis Porter and Rosalee Soulis of St. Augustine, Fla.; a brother, Nathan Palmer and his fianc้e, Jody Mansour, of Lewiston, Maine; two sisters and their husbands, Shirley Jo and George Kotlan of Los Lunas, N.M., and Donna Lynn and Don Fulton of Carlsbad, N.M.; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Ms. Blubaugh, an Indiana native, was a member of Cheaha Baptist Church. She had been employed at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Oxford for nine years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgehill and Charlotte Good Palmer.

CHARLESTON, S.C. Services for Michael D. Coleman, 47, of Charleston, S.C., formerly of Centre, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Perry Funeral Home in Centre with Rev. Bobby Hooper officiating. Burial will be in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 tonight.
Mr. Coleman died Wednesday at the Ralph H. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Charleston.

Mrs. Crocker died Thursday at her home.

WOODLAND Services for George Robert Gase, 63, of Woodland will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee with Rev. Ridley Parmer officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Congregational Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 tonight.
Mr. Gase died Thursday at his home.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Vandermoore Gase; three daughters, Chandra Warren and her husband, Gary, of Washington, D.C., Brianna Whitworth and her husband, Spencer, of Athens, Ga., and Dana Gase of Lawrence, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Gase, an Army war veteran, was employed by R&I Trucking.

CENTRE Services for Walter Dale Helms, 56, of Centre will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Perry Funeral Home with Revs. Ricky Pollard and Eugene Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Barnard Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 tonight.
Mr. Helms died Friday at Cherokee Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Ruth Coheley Helms; two daughters, Stacie Michelle Helms of Lebanon, Tenn. and Jennifer Helms Rau and her husband, Rob, of Kennesaw, Ga.; three brothers, Joel Helms of Gadsden, Harland Helms of Centre and Don Helms of Glencoe; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Gifford, Harvey Norton, Jimmy Winkles, John Lockridge, Jimmy Graham, Jerry Benefield, O'Neal Maze and Michael Wood.
Mr. Helms, a Cherokee County native, was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was employed by Inland Containers in Rome, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boston and Leona Jewell Hardy Helms; and four brothers, Larry Helms, Hobert Helms, Jerry Helms and Brodus Helms.
Irvin

CULLMAN Services for Jackie Faye Irvin, 67, of Cullman will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Larry Haywood officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-9 tonight.
Mrs. Irvin died Thursday at her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Crider of Cullman and Kandi Duke of Mississippi; three sons, Ray Cobb of Pinson, Robert Irvin and Frankie Irvin, both of Cullman; two sisters, Lottie Hudson of Bessemer and Opal Bellman of Ohatchee; a brother, Jim Mitchell of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a special friend, Dale Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Derrick Ferrell, Walter Graham, Robert Taylor, Bobby Dale Pritchard, Jeff Pritchard and Lonnie Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Irvin, a Talladega native, lived in Cullman the past 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Irvin; a son, Billy Irvin; and a grandson, Ricky Hudgel.

ROCK RUN Services for Lee Henry Slate, 61, of Rock Run will be 3 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home in Piedmont with Rev. Lewis Ward officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Union Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Slate died Thursday at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia Slate; two sons, David Slate and his wife, Stephanie, of Hiram, Ga., and Billy Slate of Atlanta; three daughters, Cricket Chastain and her husband, Perry, of Jacksonville, Fla., Brandy Sudberry and her husband, DeWayne, of Spring Garden, and Nichole Gowens of Rock Run; a brother, Johnny Slate of Powder Springs, Ga.; and eight grandchildren, Chase Slate, Christian Slate, Bailey Slate, Bradley Grosskurth, Chelsea Chastain, Anthony Wallace, Tyler Sudberry and Reagan Curtis.
Pallbearers will be members of the Fort Rucker Honor Guard.
Mr. Slate, an Atlanta native, had lived in Rock Run the past 15 years. He attended Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church. A Vietnam veteran, he retired as an Army captain. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #440 in Forney, Masonic Lodge #89 in Clarksville, Tenn., the Scottish Rites and Shrine Temple in New Bern, N.C.

PIEDMONT Services for William Pelham Westbrook, 63, of Piedmont will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial will be in Littlejohn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6-8 tonight.
Mr. Westbrook died Thursday at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Westbrook; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and James Massey of Piedmont, and Kim and Ronnie Smith of Alexander City; three sons, David Bradley and his wife, Cindy, of Seffner, Fla., Phillip Westbrook of Lakeland, Fla., and Charles Pitts and his wife, Zelma, of Tupelo, Miss.; two brothers and their wives, James and Johnnie Gail Westbrook, and Walter and Janice Westbrook, all of Piedmont; nine grandchildren, Clayton Crenshaw, Jessica Driggers, Amanda Smith, Evelyn Bradley, David Bradley Jr., Craig Bradley, Diedra Massey, Joey Driggers and Britney Smith; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Grimes, George David, Kerri Jackson, Jimmy Westbrook, Clayton Crenshaw, Craig Bradley, Joey Driggers and Jackie Knighten.
Mr. Westbrook, a Piedmont native, had lived in Tampa, Fla. for 32 years before returning to Piedmont. He was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. He retired as the owner of Westbrook Grading. He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Westbrook; his parents, Fanton and Alpha Westbrook; and a sister, Pauline Grimes.
