John David, 'Johnny' Jefcoat, 62, of Dozier, died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at his residence. A funeral was held Saturday, July 15 at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Curry officiating.

Clyde Harrison
Clyde Harrison, 88, of Mobile, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at his residence. A funeral will be held Friday, July 15 at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home in Mobile. Burial will follow in Pinecrest West Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Rilla McWaters
Rilla McWaters, 91, of Opp, died Thursday, July 13, 2000, in an Opp nursing facility. A funeral will be held Saturday, July 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Red Hill Cemetery near Graceville, Fla. visitation is Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

William Crayton Posey
William Crayton Posey, 81, of Andalusia, formerly of Brantley, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at his residence. A funeral was held Thursday, July 13 at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Turman and Rev. John Holley officiating. Special music provided by Emma Turner, organist. Burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

William Crayton Posey
William Crayton Posey, 81, of Andalusia, formerly of Brantley, died Monday, July 10, 2000, at his residence. A funeral will be held Thursday, July 13 at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Turman and Rev. John Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 6 p.m.

Mae Belle Holland
Mae Belle Holland, 86, of Dothan, formerly of Andalusia, died Monday, July 10, 2000, in a Dothan nursing facility. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 12 at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Alan Cassady officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday after 12 noon at Foreman Funeral Home.

Gladys Barrow Humphrey
Gladys Barrow Humphrey, 72, of Wing, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at her residence. A funeral was held Tuesday, July 11 at Beda Baptist Church, Wing with Minister Terry Gafford and Elder Ted Collinsworth officiating. Special music provided by Ann Marie Gafford, soloist, Jessica Collinsworth, pianist, Chris Collinsworth, trumpet, Virginia and Nancy Clark, duet; and a special reading by Jason Collinsworth. Burial followed in Zion Rock Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Rachel Wise Spicer
Rachel Wise Spicer, 65, of Coffee Springs, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at the family residence. A funeral will be held Friday, July 7 at 4 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. Visitation will be in the church one hour prior to services.

Easterly Fox, 76, of Gantt, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in a Montgomery hospital. Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 4 at 10 a.m. at Stone Lake Gardens with Rev. Roger Miller officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Margaret Atchison Shine
Margaret Atchison Shine, 91, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at her residence. A funeral will be held Friday, July 7 at 3 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Faircloth and Minister Herb Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Jim Mashburn officiating and burial following in Harmony Church Cemetery in Andalusia. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pittman Funeral Home.

Lura Denise Kyle
Lura Denise Kyle, 72, of Opp, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in a Tennessee hospital. Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 4 at 10 a.m. at Peaceful Acres Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Barry Elliot officiating and Wyatt Funeral Home directing.

Maurine Simpler Powell, 83, of Calhoun, Ga., died Wednesday, June 28, 2000 in Cohutta, Ga. A funeral was held at New Life Baptist Assembly Church in Kinston with burial following in Alberton Cemetery with W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. directing.

Joel Faircloth officiating. Music will be provided by Don Lingle. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 1:30 p.m.

Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Joel Faircloth, and Minister Herb Carlisle officiating. Music provided by Don Lingle, John Foster, and Martha Givhan. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery.

J.P. Hutcherson
J.P. Hutcherson, 96, of River Falls, died Monday, July 17, 2000. A funeral was held Saturday, July 22 at 1 p.m. at Red Level High School with Prince H.L. Nye officiating. Burial followed in River Falls Cemetery with Kirk's Funeral Chapel directing.

Clinton Franklin Merritt, 67, of Opp, died Thursday, August 3, 2000 at his residence. A funeral will be held Saturday, August 5 at 3 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home with Rev. Monroe Sasser officiating and Governor Fob James officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Acres Cemetery.

Matthew McKay Helms, infant, of Andalusia, died Friday, August 4, 2000. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10 at 7 p.m. at Killearn United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Fla. with Rev. Bob Tindale officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Roger Atchison, 60, of the Straughn community, died Sunday, August 6, 2000 in a Dothan hospital. A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 9 at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Stanley Ray Fowler
Stanley Ray Fowler, 24, of Andalusia, died Monday, August 7, 2000 in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home.
