Euna Blair, 88, of Elba, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, in an Elba hospital. A funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ino Baptist Church Cemetery.

Charles Norman
Charles Norman, 58, of Opp, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2000, at his residence. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Keahey Funeral Home.

Wilbur Douglas Edgar
Wilbur Douglas Edgar, 66, of Andalusia, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at his residence. A funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial followed in Blue Springs Church Cemetery in the Horn Hill Community.

Alice T. Harrison
Alice T. Harrison, 76, of Andalusia, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, in a Montgomery hospital. A funeral was held Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating. Burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Senie Leola Jackson
Senie Leola Jackson, 92, of Opp, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, in an Opp hospital. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Peaceful Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be at the home of granddaughter, Donna Willis.

Bertie Wise Warren
Bertie Wise Warren, 84, of Andalusia, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in an Andalusia nursing facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 10:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Minister Ben May officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery.

Miriam Perrett Costen
Miriam Perrett Costen, 81, of Andalusia, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2000, at her residence. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Joel Faircloth and Rev. John Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Mary Frances Johns
Mary Frances Johns, 70, of Red Level, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, in an Andalusia hospital. A funeral was held Monday, Oct. 23, at 2:30 p.m. at Fairmount Baptist Church with Rev. Woodrow Plant and Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Dru Marcus Rodgers
Dru Marcus Rodgers, 65, of Dozier, died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, at his residence. A funeral was held Monday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Brewer officiating. Burial followed in Goodhope Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made to Wiregrass Hospice.

Donnie Sorrells
Donnie Sorrells, 48, of Andalusia, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000. Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. in Sorrells Cemetery.

Elizabeth Clark Mason
Elizabeth Clark Mason, 91, of Andalusia, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, in an Andalusia hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Foreman Funeral Home.

James Odom, Jr.
James Odom, Jr., 57, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at his residence. A funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. William Goodson officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.

Jo Ann Parker
Jo Ann Parker, 68, of Rossville Ga., died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at her residence. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rossville and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was also involved with the Rossville Community ministries. A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.

Odessa Tomberlin
Odessa Tomberlin, 88, of Opp, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, in an Opp hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Peaceful Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Wilbur Douglas Edgar
Wilbur Douglas Edgar, 66, of Andalusia, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at his residence. A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 20, after 6 p.m.

Mamie Lee Hitson
Mamie Lee Hitson, 99, of Montgomery, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, in a Montgomery hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star and also of Siebels Road Church of Christ. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. in Fairmount Cemetery in Red Level with Minister O.B. Parterfield officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alabama Masonic Home.

James “Jim” Odom, Jr.
James “Jim” Odom, Jr., 57, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at his residence. A funeral was held Friday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. William Goodson officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. C. E. Harwell, pianist. Burial followed in Harmony Cemetery.

John Carroll Cross
John Carroll Cross, 73, of Andalusia, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, at his residence. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the custodian at Pleasant Home School for many years until his retirement. Graveside services were held Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at Buck Creek Cemetery with Rev. Leroy Cole officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Mattie Coggins
Mattie Coggins, 79, of Decatur, Ga., formerly of Andalusia, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, in a Decatur hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Graham Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 28, after 11 a.m.

Revernell “Rev” Ammons
Revernell “Rev” Ammons, 78, of Andalusia, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, in a Lewiston, N.Y. hospital. A veteran of WWII, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp., and worked 29 years at General Motors Tonawanda Engine Plant as a line worker. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. in Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Woodrow Plant officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Charles Norman Sr.
Charles Norman Sr., 58, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at his residence. Graveside services will be held Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be at Keahey Funeral Home Monday, Oct. 30, from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Charles Norman Memorial Fund at Keahey Funeral Home.

James L. “Red” Hawkins
James L. “Red” Hawkins, 87, of Searight, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, in a local hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Emmaus Cemetery in Luverne.

Neal McGhee
Neal McGhee, of Andalusia, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, in an Opp nursing facility. She was a member of the St. Peter Baptist Church. A funeral was held Friday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church with Rev. I.F. Feagin officiating. Burial followed in Marshall Memorial Cemetery.

Charles Norman Sr.
Charles Norman Sr., 58, of Andalusia, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at his residence. Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at 2 p.m. at Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home Directing.

James L. “Red” Hawkins
James L. “Red” Hawkins, 87, of Searight, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, in a local hospital. A funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Patterson and Rev. Harrell Smith officiating. Special music was provided by Kim Hollinghead accompanied by Rev. Edwin Patterson. Burial followed at Emmaus Cemetery in Luverne.

Myrtie Marie Bryan
Myrtie Maire Bryan, of Opp, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, in an Opp hospital. A funeral was held Friday, Oct. 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial followed in Bethany Cemetery.

Pauline Elizabeth Armstrong
Pauline Elizabeth Armstrong, 84, of Mobile, formerly of Andalusia, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, in a Mobile nursing facility. A funeral was held Monday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Burial followed in Good Hope Cemetery at Searight.

Carrie Kirkland
Carrie Kirkland, of Opp, died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2000, in an Opp nursing facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home with Elvie Routley officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Acres Cemetery.

Johnie Earl Aplin
Johnie Earl Aplin, of Opp, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2000, at his residence. He was a Master Mason of Fidelity Lodge 685 in Florala, a member of the Eastern Star of Opp, and an avid Atlanta Braves fan. A funeral was held Monday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. Burial followed in Peaceful Acres Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wiregrass Hospice of Andalusia.
