Ollie Mae Sue Kelley Fowler, 57, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, in a Greenville hospital. A funeral was held Friday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. John Hunt officiating. Burial followed in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery.

Ollie Mae Sue Kelley Fowler, 57, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, in a Greenville hospital. A funeral will be held Friday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. John Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be at Mrs. Fowler’s home on Hwy. 84 and at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to services.

Ollie Mae Sue Kelley Fowler, 57, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, in a Greenville hospital. A funeral will be held Friday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, after 3 p.m. at Mrs. Fowler’s home on Hwy. 84.

Mary Helms Jones
Mary Helms Jones, 88, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001, in an Enterprise medical center after an extended illness. A funeral will be held Friday, March 30, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Cavin Cawthon officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. At all other times, the family will be at the home of a daughter, Linda Tarpley, Hwy. 27, South in Enterprise. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4015 Hwy. 27, Enterprise, AL, 36330.

Alma McNeil Jones, 77, of Dozier, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in a Dothan hospital. A funeral will be held Friday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Davis and Rev. Alan Cassidy officiating. Music will be provided by the Wyatt Family accompanied by Martha Wyatt Parker, pianist. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 29, after 6 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Rose Hill Cemetery Fund c/o First National Bank of Dozier.

Clara Mae Davis, 69, of Andalusia, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in the Bethany Hospice Home in Opelika. A funeral was held Sunday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Martin officiating. Eulogies were presented by the family. Special music was provided by Ann Schaffer. Graveside services were held Monday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Garden City Cemetery in Cullman with Rev. Harold Morris officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Alma McNeil Jones, 77, of Dozier, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in a Dothan hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Foreman Funeral Home.

Clara Mae Davis
Clara Mae Davis, 69, of Andalusia, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in the Bethany Hospice Home in Opelika. A funeral was held Sunday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home. Graveside services were held Monday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Garden City Cemetery in Cullman with Keahey Funeral Home directing. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Renford Ross Rhodes
Renford Ross Rhodes, 80, of Andalusia, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. He was a WWII, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam Veteran. He retired as an Air Force Staff Sergeant. A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at Adellum Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Boles and Rev. Lavon Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Adellum cemetery with full military rites and with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the church, 30 minutes prior to services.

Johnny Ray Davis
Johnny Ray Davis, 55, of Wing, died Friday, March 23, 2001, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital. A funeral was held Monday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Beda Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Campbell and Mr. Neal Gresham officiating. Burial followed in Beda Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Clide Stuart Whiddon
Clide Stuart Whiddon, 93, of Red Level, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in an Andalusia hospital. A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 28, at 2 p.m. at Piegon Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Lavon Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, after 6 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home, and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Curtis F. Peacock
Curtis F. Peacock, 75, of Auburn, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at his residence. He had a BS of Engineering degree from Auburn University and worked as a Project Manager in industrial construction. He was a WWII veteran. The family said “Our loving husband, devoted father, granddaddy, great-granddaddy, and neighbor to many, we will miss you. Thank you for giving us a lifetime of love and Christian guidance. Love has lifted you and the light of the world is Jesus.” A funeral will be held Saturday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church of Andalusia with Rev. Fred Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Patricia Ann Worley
Patricia Ann Worley, 57, of Andalusia, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, in a Birmingham hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Congregational Church with Rev. Wayne Sharpe, Rev. Alton Easley, Rev. C.E. Harwell and Rev. John Maust officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 24, 30 minutes prior to services.

Louise Phillips Linder
Louise Phillips Linder, 53, of Lockhart, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, in a Crestview, Fla. nursing facility. A funeral was held Friday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Morris officiating. Special music was provided by the family. Burial followed in Green wood Cemetery in Florala.

Susie Copeland Richburg, 86, of Niceville, Fla., died Thursday, March 22, 2001, in a Niceville, Fla. nursing facility. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 26, at 10 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery with Rev. Drex Copeland officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 25, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Ernest “Curly” Sie Moorman
Ernest “Curyl” Sie Moorman, 65, of Opp, died Monday, March 19, 2001, in a V.A. hospital. He was a Card Holder at Opp Mills and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. A funeral will be held Friday, March 23, at 2 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home with Herman Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Jack Atkison Beesley
Jack Atkison Beesley, of Saraland, died Monday, March 5, 2001, in a local hospital. A native of Covington County, he served in the US Army and Navy. He was a retired engineer from Scott Paper Company. A funeral was held Thursday, March 8, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home of Saraland. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Wendell Austin Harville
Wendell Austin Harville, 53, of Dothan, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at his residence. Born, January 22, 1948 in Butler County, he was the son of the late Elmer harville and Edna Zellers Harville. He was an insurance agent with the Equitable Insurance Co. in Dothan and had lived in the Dothan area for 15 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Dothan, a native of Andalusia and a graduate of Troy State University. A private memorial service and Burial will be announced at a later date. Visitation was held Monday, March 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Kent-Thornton Funeral Home with Rev. Timothy M. Plant speaking. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wiregrass Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302.

Marvin T. Hicks
Marvin T. Hicks, 71, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., died Sunday, March 18, 2001. Born March 30, 1929 in Bessmer, he was the son of the late Russell and Emily Hicks. He graduated from Callahan High School in Callahan, Fla., and retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of MSGT after serving his country honorably for over 22 years. He was later a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. After retirement from the Air Force, he worked with the Playground Daily News and the Air Force Enlisted Men’s Widows and Dependents Home Foundation, Inc. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Fort Walton Beach.A funeral will be held Thursday, March 22, at 10 a.m. at the Bob Hope Village Chapel with Rev. James T. Ross, Pastor, of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the AFEWHF Building Fund, 92 Sunset Lane, Sahlimar, FL 32579.

A funeral was held Monday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Knight officiating. Special music was provided by Randy Nixon accompanied by Rene’ Beam. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Betty Ellen Chesser Smith Memorial Fund, c/o People’s Bank of Red Level, P.O. Box F, Red Level, AL, 36474.

Lynne Thagard Zorn
Lynne Thagard Zorn, 58, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Andalusia, died Thursday, March 15, 2001, at her residence after an extended illness. A native of Andalusia, she had resided in Pensacola for almost 30 years. She was a member of various social and civic organizations as well as Trinity Presbyterian Church. A memorial service was held Saturday, March 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Untied Ministries, P.O. Box 9255, Pensacola, Fla., 32513, or Trinity Presbyterian Church, or the charity of one’s choice.

Carrie Cawley Ross, 88, of Andalusia, died Sunday, March 18, 2001, in an Andalusia nursing facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Minister Ferrell Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow in Heath Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Burial will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
