Services for Mildred Evelyn Ross Weaver, 87, of Doraville, Ga. are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at the Welch Funeral and Memorial Center Garden Court, 4619 Judson Road, Longview, Texas, with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery. Mrs. Weaver died at the Tucker Nursing Center on Friday evening, May 4, 2001. The family requests that memorials be mad to the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Missions Office, 4400 N. Peachtree Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30338 to be applied towards Shirley Phillips September 2001 mission trip to Russia.

James J. Girdner III
James J. Girdner III, 70, of Gautier, Miss., formerly of Andalusia, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at his residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Foreman Funeral Home.

William Thomas Henderson
William Thomas Henderson, 80, of Andalusia, died Friday, May 4, 2001, in a Crestview, Fla. nursing facility. A funeral was held Monday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. John Hunt officiating. Special music was provided by Loraine Sutton and Debra Evans accompanied by Mrs. Peacock. Burial followed in Antioch Congregational Church.

Rickey Allen Ainsworth
Rickey Allen Ainsworth, 32, of Andalusia, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at his residence. A funeral was held Monday, May 7, at 4 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Brother Monroe Sasser officiating. Special music was provided by Johnny Andrews, Lane Pinion, Eugene Bell, Troy Brown, Andrew Steele and John Britton. Burial followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

James J. Girdner III
James J. Girdner III, 70, of Gautier, Miss., formerly of Andalusia, died Friday, April 27, 2001, at his residence. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with Brother Terry Stewart officiating.

Odis Rex Mitchell
Odis Rex Mitchell, 65, of Rose Hill, died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at his residence. A funeral was held Friday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Driver and Rev. John Hunt officiating. Burial followed in Goodnews Baptist Chapel Cemetery.

Robert Morgan Cobb
Robert Morgan Cobb, a resident of Liberty Commons Assisted Living, died Monday, April 30, 2001, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Covington, on April 2, 1936 the son of the late Lewis Brooks Cobb and Bama Joyce Turner Cobb, and was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hall Cobb. Mr. Cobb retired from the United States Marine Corps with twenty years of service. He had been employed with Gregory Poole Equipment Company as a Caterpillar Mechanic. A graveside service with military honors will be held at the River Falls Cemetery on Tuesday, May 8, with Keahey Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association, 4701, Wrightsville Ave., Suite C, Wilmington, NC, 28403, or, to the American Diabetes Association 434 Fayetteville St. Mall, Two Hanover Square, Suite 1600, Raleigh, N.C., 27601.

William Thomas Henderson

Robert Morgan Cobb
Robert Morgan Cobb, a resident of Liberty Commons Assisted Living, died Monday, April 30, 2001, in New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Exa Terry Josey, 86, of Red Level, died Monday, April 30, 2001, in a Panama City, Fla. nursing facility. A funeral will be held Thursday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Fairmount Baptist Church with Rev. Don Hodges and Rev. Drexel Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Estelle Godwin Jenkins|
Estelle Godwin Jenkins, 89, of Dothan, formerly of River Falls, died Thursday, April 26, 2001 in a Dothan hospital. A funeral will be held Saturday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at River Falls Baptist Church with Rev. Woodrow Plant officiating. Burial will follow in River Falls Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.

John Frances Neduhal
John Frances Neduhal, 45, of the Yellow River community, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at his residence. A native of Baltimore, Md., he had worked as a professional guitarist around the country. Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 1, at 10 a.m. at North
Creek Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Lucile A. Jones, 92, of Montgomery, formerly of Red Level, died Sunday, April 22, 2001 in a Montgomery nursing facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 24 at 3 p.m. at Foreman Brown Funeral Home with Rev. P. J. McClung officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Eastern Star Rites by Red Level Chapter #450 with Worthy Matron Dorothy Davis and Worthy Patron Clifford Davis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Inez W. Terry
Inez W. Terry, 89, of Red Level, died Sunday, May 20, 2001, in an Andalusia nursing facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, May 22, at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Brother Larry Turman officiating. Special music by Dale Martin, solist; accompanied by Cheryl Hamlet, pianist. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth Colvin Palmer, 91, of Andalusia, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in an Andalusia nursing facility. A funeral will be held Sunday, June 3, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Minister Terry Stewart and Minister Jeff Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.

George O. Davis, 67, of Andalusia, died Friday, June 1, 2001, in a Mobile hospital. Graveside services were held Monday, June 4, at 10 a.m. at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Sonny Steele officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing.

Frances Hodge McLelland
Frances Hodge McLelland, 95, of Andalusia, died Monday, June 4, 2001, in an Andalusia health care facility. A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 3 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in the old Bethesada Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5, after 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Victory Baptist Church or to the charity of one’s choice.

Carlson B. Vines
Carlson B. Vines, 76, of the Sanford community, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001, in an Andalusia hospital. He was a member of Sanford Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Navy and the Air Force. A funeral will be held Saturday, June 2, at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Easley and Rev. Ed Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, June 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to CountrySide Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.

Frances Russell Josey Albritton
Frances Russell Josey Albritton, 82, a native of Opp and a longtime resident of Mobile, died Monday, May 28, 2001. Mrs. Albritton served as a military wife in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force for 30 years, beginning in World War II through the Vietnam War. She attended the University of Alabama and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was an active member of the Huntleigh Woods Garden Club. Continuing her lifelong work as a Red Cross Volunteer, Mrs. Albritton recently completed eight years as a Volunteer at Mobile Infirmary. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 2, at 2 p.m. Visitation and reception will follow immediately afterwards. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mary Sport Gibson
Mary Sport Gibson, 80, of Brantley, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001. A funeral will be held Friday, June 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Woody Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.

Lydia Annie Geohagan
Lydia Annie Geohagan, 83, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in a local hospital. A funeral will be held Thursday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Ganus and Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Eight Mile Cemetery, Florala. Visitation will be Wednesday after 6 p.m.

Ervin Hooks
Ervin Hooks, 83, of Evergreen, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, in an Andalusia hospital. Graveside services were held Friday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery in Conecuh County with Keahey Funeral Home directing.

Thelma Glover Pless
Thelma Glover Pless, 98, of Andalusia, died Monday, June 4, 2001, in San Diego, Calif. A funeral will be held Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to services.

Phoebe Ellen Barker
Phoebe Ellen Barker, 86, of Hertford, England, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Welwyn Garden City, England, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at All Saints Church in Hertford, England.
