Music was provided by Gret Windham, soloist. Burial followed in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

W.R. Duke, 76, of Andalusia, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, in a Montgomery hospital after an extended illness. A funeral was held Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at Keahey Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Dubose and Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Special music was provided by Nell Arnold, Martha Parker, Denise Miley, Rev. Stephen Dubose and pianist Karen Wiggins. Eulogy was provided by three granddaughters, Leigh Sanders, Tiffany Oldham and Jessica Fike. Burial followed in Judson Church Cemetery. Edward McKendrick Pace, 81, of Andalusia, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at his residence. Mr. Pace grew up in New Harmony, Ind. and was a resident of Andalusia for the last 10 years. Mr. Pace retired as a Division Manager for Koehring, Inc. in Port Washington, Wisc. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church in Andalusia and a 3rd Degree Mason of Artic Lodge #394 in New Harmony, Ind. A funeral was held Thursday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. at Foreman Funeral Home with Rev. Judd Stinson officiating. Eulogy was presented by Mac Pace, grandson. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony, Ind.

Burial will follow Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m. in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Elmira Douglas Mason, 90, of Pensacola, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, in a Pensacola hospital. Born Dec. 25, 1911, in Covington County, she moved to Pensacola in 1982 from the Pleasant Home Community. She was a home maker, devoted wife and loving mother. She was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star and the Eastern Brent Baptist Church.
