Services for Kathryn Christina Lundquist, 87, will be in Newton, New Jersey on Aug. 2, with burial in Hardyston Cemetery in Hardeston, New Jersey.

Mrs. Lundquist died Saturday, July 27 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 25, 1914 in Staton Island, New York. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Lundquist; her father, Charles August Farley; her mother, Catherine Hurley Lundquist; a son, Edward John Lundquist Jr.; three brothers, Charles Farley, James Farley and Walter Farley; and two sisters, Helen Barron and Rita Burns.
Survivors include a son, Charles Lundquist of Binghampton, New York; two daughters, Jean Dueland of Vinemont and Nancy (Timothy) Beierle of Newton, New Jersey; a brother, Frances Farley of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Julia Gannon of Groton, Conn.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Audie Louise Fowler
Services for Audie Louise Fowler, 78, of Trussville, formerly of Cullman, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Larry Nail officiating, with burial in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Fowler died Tuesday, July 30 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in Birmingham. She was born Nov. 25, 1923 to Edgar O. and Lucy Partain Cagle. She was a restaurant owner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include a son, Dwight T. Floyd of Hixon, Tenn.; a daughter, Vickie (Bob) Kent of Daphne; four grandchildren, Tonia Floyd, Stephen Floyd, Christopher Kent, and Connor Kent.

H. R. ‘Sam’ Sanford
Services for H. R. “Sam” Sanford, 85, of Logan will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002 at Moss Service Chapel, the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating, with burial in Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Sanford died Monday, July 29 at Woodland Medical Center. He was born July 21, 1917 to Luther Lloyd and Pollie Sanford. He was a logger and farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ethelene Abbott Sanford; and his son, Edward Larry Sanford.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff Sanford of Cullman, John H. Sanford of Crane Hill and Ray L. Sanford of Central; three daughters, Pollie Sue Griffin of Pinson, Effie Mae Pearson of Hudson Falls, N.Y., Betty Joyce Woodard of Nectar; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Marlin Pruett

Mr. Pruett died Tuesday, July 30 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1929 in Cullman County to Evie and Thursie Speegle Pruett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War, was a member of the Cullman VFW Post, and was a truck driver for the state of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Sterling Pruett; and his sister, Margie Ritschard.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Faye Bryant Pruett of Vinemont; a son, Danny Ray Pruett of Vinemont; a daughter, Donna Karen (Dennis) Harbison of Vinemont; two brothers, Newton Pruett of Cullman and Billy Ray Pruett of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Allene Nunnelley of Fairview, Claudree Twilley of Hanceville and Mozelle Swann of Cullman; and two grandchildren.

William Woodrow Gober

Mr. Gober died Tuesday, July 30 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 23, 1923 in Arab. He was a former law enforcement officer for Arab and Garden City police departments. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II, and was a retired mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Elisha and Georgia Bryan Gober; two sisters, Analoise Roberts and Willie Mae Whisenhant; and four brothers, Paul Gober, Bryan Gober, Joe Gober and Quinan Gober.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Reynolds and Gail Wallace both of Hanceville; a sister, Lucille Daniel of Arab; and five grandchildren, Cindi Griggs, Melissa Shaw, Crystal Steelman, Danny Williams, Mike Williams, and Wally Williams.

Mr. Bagwell died Wednesday, July 31 at Woodland Village Health Care. He was born Aug. 17, 1914 in Cullman County to John and Lizzie Hicks Bagwell. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mabel Thompson Bagwell; a son, Roy Kenneth Bagwell; and a grandson, Kevin L. Bagwell.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald E. Bagwell of Greenville, S.C., Billy R. Bagwell and James D. Bagwell, both of Cullman; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Shikle died Wednesday, July 31 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1919 in Cullman County to Charles and Mollie McKinney Shikle. He was an aircraft mechanic for Hayes Aircraft. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Grace Gay Shikle of Cullman; two daughters, Sharon Sullivan of Cullman and Judy Waldrep of Albertville; a brother, Frank B. Shikle of Cullman; a sister, Margaret Abbott of Logan; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William Walter Wheeler Jr.
Services for William Walter Wheeler Jr., 56, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2002 at Cullman Heritage Chapel, Henry Hobson officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, Fla.

Mr. Wheeler died Wednesday, July 31 at his residence. He was born Aug. 24, 1945 in Milford, Conn. He was a computer security administrator for First Union Bank in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War; an alumni of Auburn University, and a member of Woodworkers Association.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Ward Wheeler; and his brother, Ward Cameron Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife, Cissie Leigh Fender Wheeler of Cullman; his father, William Walter Wheeler Sr. of Cullman; a son, William Walter (Anna) Wheeler III of Anniston; a daughter, Ann (Chris) Brun of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Leslie (Wayne) Turner of Cullman; and a stepbrother, Rusty McElvey of Cullman.

Coleman Smith Sr.
Services for Coleman Smith Sr., 91, of Hartselle will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 at Peck Funeral Home, Dr. Ron Wilson officiating, with burial in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Mr. Smith died Wednesday, July 31 at Cullman County Long Term Care Facility. He was born Sept. 29, 1910 in Falls City in Winston County to John Hilton and Eula Putnam Smith. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle. He worked with Dupont as a maintenance supervisor for 24 years, at Addison Fabrications for 18 years as a maintenance supervisor and machinist, and was a Mason and a member of the Sylacauga Lodge No. 200.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Irene Burroughs Smith.
Survivors include a son, Coleman D. Smith Jr. of Hartselle; five granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Paul Bryant, Mike Bryant, Ruel Woods, Randall Smith, Dale Reid, Larry Dale Howse.
Honorary pallbearers will be the shop employees of Addison Fabricators.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
